    If you try any of Nick's FH advice and it leads to more distance please come back and comment what it was and how much farther you're throwing!

    Unfortunately you can’t teach the elbow first technique he utilizes to hammer the disc. Most of these forehand guys are ex baseball players who have been throwing for years and it shows. He talked a lot but didn’t really tap into what really makes him powerful, his crazy shoulder and elbow external rotation and a life time of good throwing mechanics.

      @@JasonTurner-uk9rk Yes, we are. If you haven't joined Grand Valley Disc Golf Club on FB yet, I'd do that and come out to some tags. Get to know some people. Everybody's friendly and happy to give some pointers. You'll see Nick out there every now and then too.

    Love to hear you talk more about elbow position thru the throw, weight transfer and “push” off your back foot, and torso coil.

      Maybe in the future we'll do a tutorial with some of those deeper concepts. When a guy is really good at something, I like to hear his key points first. Thank you for your feedback, i appreciate it😊

      Yes, thank you! Nick is an incredible player and an even better human, imo. It's awesome of him to share his technique. BTW, he has won his last couple tournaments against some legit competition! He is on the rise

      He hit 465 that day, but we only did a couple rounds of throws. I don't always hit my max distance cold everytime out either 😂. But, I assure you, he has a 500 ft FH. 😊💥

    Do you use the same grip for shorter tee shots or upshots?

    • @AdamUpsDiscGolfJourney
      @AdamUpsDiscGolfJourney  2 หลายเดือนก่อน

      @@nickytfor3 I can't speak for Nick, but I go to a one finger FH for upshots and short tee shots. Basically anything midrange and down I use one finger. Have a lot more touch that way. And I use the same grip as Nick for the max distance stuff.
