I have been following AC/DC all my days since I was 17, I am 60 this year. I play guitar because of hearing Angus and Malcolm all those years ago. Their riffs were so different to anything else back then they blew my mind every time I heard them. The crazy thing is I am not very good with guitar, but I just can't leave it alone and never have been able to for 20 years now. I pass hours away every week just doodling around on the strings. Sure I know some AC/DC stuff but it's the kids like you (and please believe me I mean no offence by that) that I learn the most from. And what a wonderful tribute to AC/DC it is to have young people like yourself 40 + years on playing their music and teaching the older generation how to do it. Thanks for the video my friend. Ya know the thing I love about Angus' style is that he is so well at blending the major and minor pentatonic scales that you don't notice when the transition is, he blends it so well.

I remember being in 7th grade listening to the back in black album 💿 hells bells and saying to myself damn I wish I could learn guitar and play this song. So that year for Xmas I asked my dad for a guitar. And it was the greatest day ever
Great tutorial. And he came up with these riffs long before the internet was thought of.
🟡 I love this video. Most helpful. You make it feel easy and it kinda is once you get the hang of it. You explain Angus science I never knew. I’m been playing my whole life since 12yrs old skip 17 yrs, now 72/73 and I have reached where I wanted be. It took playing everyday past 10 years and you tube. But I’m am still learning everyday, and find people like you that who’s dedication is not going unnoticed. I sorry I sold my SG but if I ever get another what pick ups do you play. You do have that tone down. Thx!

Just wondering what amp and setup are you using in this video? The sound is awesome with just a right amount of distortion and a hint of compression..love it.

I can’t remember exactly what I used for this but a big part of it is rolling the volume off a bit on the actual guitar to get that slight bite/slight clean sweet spot!

A lot of these Angus Young guitar tutorials are great but the tone is never right. Less distortion heavy string and picks and hit the strings hard!
That’s why it’s a lick lesson and not a tone lesson.

Why are you teaching intinidiate/advanced licks but giving a beginner lesson. Can't imagine clicking this if I don't even know my minor scales. Know your audience
My exact words were ‘pretty sure everyone knows the minor pentatonic’ but then proceeded to quickly demonstrate it just to give a frame of reference for the rest of the licks.
