- As always, thanks for watching! On this journey I go from Alegria, Siargao, to catch a ferry in Dapa, Siargao over to Surigao City, Mindanao. From there I catch a small ferry to San Jose, Dinagat, and then a little boat out to Biray Biray Paradise Island. An unbelievable journey and experience!

When you said one day - Bob Marley decided to sing "one day" real loud!
Hehehehehe. I don't eat balut.
@@sumakwelvictoria5635, I don't think I can, in fact I don't want to try or the pressure to try! Thanks anyway!
I met my future wife nine years ago on FB. She was living and working for the government on Dinagat island. This is my first time seeing it. Thanks Chad !
Wow that's awesome I'm glad I could share some of the beautiful sites, truly an amazing place!
I’m a Filipino but never been to the places you’ve been. Enjoy your trip in the Philippines ❤
No other tourists means that island is a legit off-the-beaten path. Philippines has many more islands like that just waiting to be discovered.
So grateful for the experience, and I definitely want to get back there
You are a legend sir, first vlogger to feature the place.... Mabuhay
Grateful for the experience, incredible time... thanks for watching!
I had great experience on Dinagat ..but I had the advantage of a woman who invited me there.. She took care of lodging and travel logistics.. And took good care of me.. A great place for any adventurous foreigner!
I'm not a local in the Mystical Island Province of Love Dinagat Islands but I spent more than a decade of my life in that Province while working in a National Government Agency. The Island has a lot of beautiful beaches to offer. Less explored less exploited. Some of the people in the video look familiar to me. Thanks for sharing the stunning beauty of Mystical Island Province of Love.
I think I had goosebumps when i saw the island. Well deserved man. What a gem of a place. 👏🇵🇭
Great video! Looks like an incredible experience
Thanks Chris! Yeah unbelievable adventure and experience
If I'm not mistaken Dinagat Islands is where a lot of storms pass by all the time. This may be the reason why the place is still not touristy. Man you are so lucky to be there on a beautiful day like that!❤😮
If Dinagat Island is hit by a typhoon, then so is Siargao. They are just neighbors. In other words, there are not so many typhoons that pass by Dinagat Island.
@@wavemaker2077siargao has the surfing to make up for it
What a great experience, Chad! You are living the dream kid. And again you feel the welcoming friendliness of the Filipinos, even on their own private island🏝️Amazing
Sometimes I have to pinch myself! Yes I agree I'm always feeling that warm welcome feeling from the locals always makes the experience that much better
that fresh caught tuna has got to be the best you ever ate
Absolutely! You can never beat fresh fish but with the experience beforehand it made it even better
You've uncovered so many hidden facets of the local travel experience. "Off the beaten path" has its rewards.
wow! so beautiful..thank you. I am just 3 hours away from Surigao but never heard of Dinagat Island...for sure it's on the list on my next vacation! thank you so much.
Thank you for taking us along on this beautiful amazing journey !! 🏝️☀️ oh , and kudos to the kid from Cali who not only ate balut , but actually enjoyed it 🥴 I’m Filipina, and I don’t even wanna try it ! 🤮 Safe travels and thank you for all these great videos ! I got emotional with this one ; the beauty of the landscape and people is quite humbling and breathtaking.
Thanks for the comment Sally I appreciate it, was truly an incredible experience!
Chad, one of your best videos! You are really coming into your own with the editing and narration... I am in Cavite, I put Danagat on my list! Keep it up!
Thanks I appreciate that! Cool yeah you won't be disappointed, enjoy your travels!
If you are in Dinaga ask the local where is the sleeping 🛌 giant island 🏝️the crocodile 🐊 island 🏝️ Skeleton 💀 island 🏝️the island 🏝️ is not made nature made.
You are living the life dude !!! Awesome adventure !!
Thanks! yeah that was an amazing journey and experience
I envy you dudde😢your living my dream😢
wow lucky you! beaches in the philippines are on another level. unreal.
Well said, definitely on another level, grateful for the experience
What an amazing adventure. Philippines has tons of hidden gems that are yet to be discovered. Thanks for taking us along. I got Biray-biray on my list of places to go when we move there in less than a year.
The beach is top 2 but the people are always the top 1 enjoy your adventure
One of my Top 6 most beautiful and must go to places in Phl., Boracay and Siargao is not even on that list. So I hope you explored some more because that small province has a lot.
In fact, I took a screen shot from a vlog of a view down and all around up above of an area called "blue lagoon" somewhere in Dinagat. I've been watching travel vlogs for nearly 8 years now, and among all the many beautiful places in Philippines i've seen so far, I thought that I may never or any time soon replace the astonishing image of the "corridor" going inside "The Big Lagoon" in El Nido, that I set up as my laptop wallpaper. It reminded me that this is Philippines, it is still possible.
I definitely want to get back there there's so much more to see and so many other amazing places to see in the Philippines 😎 thanks for the comments and suggestions
Maybe this is one of the best VIDS ever Chad. I hope many see it and what a spirit you have
Hey thanks I appreciate that! Hope so 🤞🤞
I see it and i subscribed.
Balut was featured food in "Survivor Series" in the Philippines Version in Caramoan.
Southern leyte also has beautiful beaches, but not many tourists know it. Turquoise water and cleaner..
What a great find. Especially loved the beach with all the rock formations.
I agree that was my favorite beach there!
Thank you for giving an extra amount of 100 to the local boatman they need that a lot bless your kind heart ❤️💖💖👍👌🙏🙏🙏😍🥰🤩🇵🇭🇵🇭🇵🇭
I ended up giving him a tip on top of that, he was super nice and yes these guys work really hard. Thank you for watching

You are right that island is a paradise .. enjoy
Hi Chad, i visited San Jose about 15 years ago and i stayed on the close island called Yabyaban island or "the sleeping boy" I saw that island on the video because its only about 7 minute away from San Jose. Yes that area truley is paradise. Nice review of the area.
Yes of course, sleeping boy island incredible sight to see! Amazing area over there definitely want to get back there 😎
Wow! Now i finally find a place to go
Wow 🤩 that was more than AWESOME Chad! Thank you so much for sharing this adventure! Your videos getting better and better bro!Greetings from your German follower Michael 👋👍👍👍👍👍

WOW WOW WOW I AM PILIPINO AND I LOVE / ENVIOUS YOUR JOURNEY TO THAT ISLAND OF DINAGAT. from London, Manolo
More fun in the Philippines 🇵🇭 my husband is American 🇺🇸 and eat Balot when we attend Philfest festival in Tampa Florida he won the contest eating balot. Now we enjoy our retirement early @60 here in the Philippines 🇵🇭 more fun and affordable price to live, people our friendly and very helpful, loving and caring❤I Love ❤️ people in the Philippines 🇵🇭 they are the best👍
I’m from PH and I’ve been to almost a hundred islands so far….I must say, that’s a beach I’d also love to stay for few days….I also like beaches which are not touristy crowded….amazing view!!!
I did a solo trip in Dinagat Islands 3 months ago. I was also the only tourist and I had a LOT of fun! It’s one of my favorite places now. So beautiful and virgin!
years ago when my husband came home with me to the philippines, and i bought a dozen of balut fresh and stillhot ,and hubby looks like he was gonna puke lol,but he sees my little nephews eat it like its the best food there is. so hubby feels like hes such a big chicken shit haha,so to show them that he is not that chicken shit,he tried it,and to his amazement .he said hmm its actually good! ..its not that bad once you try it you wont have an issue to have another ,its just at first ,it looks bad,its what you call if you never tried it ,no room for anyone to say bad about it, because we happen to love the flavor of balut!😊
Hi newbie here. Thanks loving our country. Take care and enjoy.
Hey thanks for tuning in and I appreciate you leaving a comment, I definitely love it here and that is probably my favorite place I've been to here in the Philippines
You're the man. You are spreading positive attitude. Salute🙂😉😎
All about spreading positive vibes, thanks for watching!
Thanks so much for touring us around the not so famous hidden gem in my homeland...you're such a cool friendly wandering soul...keep it coming Chad
That is so cool! Keep doing these adventures! Exactly what I want to do! But I want to find a cute Filipina province girl who’s father is a fisherman! ❤❤🎣🎣
Wow! Showcase the Philippines and is good for me . I am a Pilipino living abroad in California
I'm grateful for the experience, I think it's my favorite place in the Philippines!
Beautiful pristine beach far away from the maddening crowd of tourists. Congratulations.
Beautiful. Looks like a great place for a family to stay for a few days. When I see the people, I keep thinking of Indonesian words to use, then remember that even the remote villagers there speak English.
That's a fantastic place to visit it's like El Nido without the crowds !
Exactly!
Yes, I'm living in Loreto, Dinagat, the last town. Our place is so very nice and wonderful.
I was there in Biray-Biray before Holy Week this year. Visited the whole Dinagat Island for a week. There are more beautiful islands farther and the hidden lake. There was a spanish family the only tourist we have seen during our week stay there.
Thanks for featuring Siargao..
A couple of years from now .
Siargao will be crowded with tourists ... 👍...not secret anymore....😊..good for the locals....👍
Beautiful scenery but I think Biray-Biray may be a bit too much of the beaten path for me haha
It was a journey!
Thanks for featuring dinagat island. The place where I grew up - in Melgar. You may try visiting the Bababu Lake.
I'm grateful for the experience it was so amazing, thanks for watching and thanks for the comment I appreciate it
What a beautiful vlog. You’re right , better than those well known beaches.
Thanks for watching and commenting glad you enjoyed it, I agree it was an incredible experience different than anywhere else I've been here in the Philippines
Wow, I hope to get there someday!!!
What a beautiful beach destination !!!!
Nice video Chad. Tagay!
Here in Masbate, you can find beautiful beaches which has less tourist you can enjoy your vacation here,♥️♥️♥️🇵🇭🇵🇭🇵🇭
Try to visit Cuyo Island, Palawan. Discover its culture, geographical location, Cuyonon language, historical St Agustine Fort, musical and dance traditions.
There are so many known islets discovered attractive but not yet tapped for tourists.
Dinagat has an Attraction that looks like sugba lagoon and Bucas Granda maybe because they are close to each other.
I believe those are not tuna. We call them tulingan... maybe of the same family of tuna, but they are 100 times smaller than tuna. Their meat texture and taste are different compared to tuna. Its like comparison of lion and house cat.
There's some more tourist attraction that never discover yet by local or international tourist in Dinagat. Dinagat is a mystical island where the Holy land was there
Yeah I was absolutely amazed! Thanks for watching
Great video Chad. Thank you for sharing! I live in Davao City so will maybe take a long side trip up to Biray Biray soon. Found a similar experience on Talikud Island (near Samal) at an off-the-beaten-path place called Dayang Beach Resort. Like you, had the whole place to ourselves. You do a nice job with your videos!
Great content! Please do more videos with this authentic shows. 🎉
My first view Chad, nice vlog. Thanks for bringing us to some island adventure in Dinagat island watching from Cebu City, Philippines
Glad you enjoyed it!
YOU GO CHAD. Very cool video
Last huge typhoon leveled and devastated the islands. Lots of TH-cam content creators volunteered and helped the locals.
That is indeed a hidden gem. There are already a number of foreign vloggers who visited Dinagat Island but it seems that they didn't know that there are beautiful islands off Dinagat Island. The local government of Dinagat Island should make an effort to promote their touristy areas. It will be good for the economy of Dinagat Island.
nice man life is good
I like your adventure. I just ran into your channel. I like that you show the scenery and your encounters with people. Most vloggers just show too much of themselves and not much of the scenery
Awesome, thank you!
What a lovely little dog at 7:58 :)
Wow what an amazing fishing experience, you are lucky for that wonderful event catching fish
I agree! Soo grateful
What an island I'm a local but I don't know that place. Thanks for sharing man.
Dude what a sick adventure. Getting off the ferry was a bit of a challenge but totally worth it 👍🏼
It was an incredible adventure! It's fun getting off the beaten path 😎
Very cool travels, and good energy video.

Hello Chad I enjoyed watching your vlog in biraybiray beach resort am really appreciate it. Thanks for your time here. Good luck always your journeys.
What a great adventure for visiting Philippines
Enjoyed the scenery, thank you.
Wow.. I didn't know about that beautiful island, Thank you foe for featuring! ❤
You brought me home Chad! Salamat from Utah
🤔 Early on in this 'adventure' - It occured to me - that you best not need to get some serious medical attention ( ? ) in the middle of '''this''' trip - ? - Ouch - if needed ? --- The remoteness and the obvious isolation appears - 'ominous' ? -- And the language barrier appears real !?! -- Few others ignore those issues as a possibility perhaps ? - - - An adventure few others take for sure. You do a great job Chad narrating these trips. > All the best !!! 🤗
Epic trip Chad. I'll be there in December with a buddy. just deciding on island and stuff to do, this looks pretty sweet for a few nights. sorting transport looks hit or miss though. would you up for sharing the boat owners details? maybe on email?
