Why didn't my wash clear up completely. It's still milky colour. Hydrometer was reading 990 and was no activity on the surface and left it for well over a week...attempted to degass but just keep bubbling 😒
The finings have not worked for me. Three days after B it is still cloudy/black. What to do next? Edit .I added fresh finings Turbo both A and then B. This was better along with some more heat, I used an immersion type heater set at 24C. Clear enough now to distil.
I’m having troubles de-gassing I think 🤔 it seems like no matter how much I de glass it there’s always carbon in the water. So I moved on to part A and B now the sediment has settled and the water is still cloudy any suggestions? I’m just going to give it more time for now but I think the excessive carbon is getting in the way of a good wash
Hi mate love your video where can I buy that degaser on the drill I'm live in Australia cheers mate

Hi, enjoying your videos. When degassing do you leave the lid off the bucket or leave it on? Cheers from Australia 👍
What do you do with the black sludgy bottom stuff?
I forgot to add carbon after adding sugar and it has been 48 hrs of fermentation . Can i add now?
