    Ketamine is a game changer. I didn’t even know I was depressed, I thought it was just anxiety. After my 6 treatments I am a changed person. I wish I had had this treatment 20 years ago.

      Did you go to a treatment centre if I may ask? I'm Belgian and over here it's still illegal and mostly known for being a party drug or for anaesthetic purposes.

    As someone who abused ketamine before getting treatments, I can confidently say that Ketamine WITH therapy, is a completely different and superior drug that actually helps compared to abusing street bought ketamine for the same purpose. I’m on Joyous and it works, and no need to worry about bladder issues since it’s low dose!

    I had around 10? (can't really remember, that's how severe my depression was back then) treatments. It was administrated via IV, and: it did absolutely nothing for me! I was simply in some weird, mild meditative state and felt very dizzy after "waking up". No shift in my thought patterns, I experienced the whole ordeal purely physical. I didn't experience any nausea or anything. So after having those treatments, I heard different people say different things. Some say that the regular dose given via IV aren't therapeutic enough, some say that the IV administration itself isn't really effective on itself, some even suggested me to "snort small amounts of ketamine freebase/crystals" in order to have the "real deal" and experience the full therapeutic potential. I really don't know what to think about this therapy tbh. I don't know if I should reconsider this whole ketamine thing again or just let it be.

    Side topic, I'm a bit concerned about the mass in your neck. This could possibly be a thyroid issue that would 100% cause depression, mood changes, anxiety, hormone imbalances and much more. I would recommend you get it checked out. Sorry for just throwing that out there but, thyroid issues run in my family and I've seen first hand what it can do. Get it checked out!!!

      I have to say, I was concerned too. Great info on the video, but I did feel like her neck needed to be checked. She’s not fat, as she joked. And I have had issues that were so obvious to others but I couldn’t see staring back at me in the face! Denial is a big part of depression. I hope she takes you’re advice! I think it is wise and well intentioned.

    So they gave you a shot in the arm? Question. Why did you get that rather than IV, or pill? Thank you

    • @dianaronsal9783
      @dianaronsal9783  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      all forms of administration lead to basically different experiences and have different absorption levels. when ketamine is administered through an IV, your experience is quite gradual and somewhat milder. Some people can still talk and be aware of themselves. The same seems to be confirmed with pills. Another point with pills is that the available dosage in pills is relatively small; thus, the experience will also be less psychedelic. With a shot in the arm, your psychedelic experience will kick in within 2 minutes and will last for around 45 -60 minutes in total. But I am not a professional, so take my response with a grain of salt.
