I remembered at Ted talk about scammers with a guy who would constantly question the scammers to the point that the scammers gave up because he has asked way too many questions. I was dying in laughter 🤭🤣

I don't find the ex-husband wanting your credentials as the problem, but that a technically "unknown" person is asking for important credentials. This is actually a common scam technique. It's possible for a bad actor to spoof your ex-husbands phone number and get access to your important account information. ***DON'T DO THAT AGAIN!*** Jennifer, you keep on Pumps, she's being too relaxed about this.

No legitimate business will ask you to pay in gift cards or cash wires!!
You could carry these little cards with you, no bigger than a 'bidness card; that have a short little, 'Be back in a bit' or maybe a, 'Waiting for it to cool down.' then put a neighbors address as the emergency contact..
The thing is, if they're printed, it negates the 'exception to the rule' aspect, so best practice would be to carry around a ballpoint pen and the business cards of people you may not be very fond of with you and just use the reverse side of those.

The stress of thinking about this Apple ID being sent to your ex is aging me. The middle finger emoji is there for a reason. My unsolicited advice is to reply with that anytime anyone asks for your password to anything.
That's one thing that makes living in the Bronx so infuriating, the giant bundles of dog poop on all the sidewalks. Like everyone in the neighborhood seems to own a pit bull & I love potties so much but I know they can really explode.
