You would have to be totally out of your mind to use the Dreamstation. Philips knew they had a problem and just come out with the POS Dreamstation 2. I will never use any of Philips products. Now they may have a problem with the new foam.
I had the Dreamstation before the recall. Since switching to Resmed for myself there are some real differences. I felt well rested and didn't have bags under my eyes with the Dreamstation. The Dreamstation had better pressure settings. The hose to the mask was more flexible and seemed less an issue. For myself I definitely had better sleep quality with the Dreamstation
I disagree. I have the DreamStation and I am not getting quality sleep, I had every mask they make and my doctor had to tinker with the settings several times so I am switching to RESMED, my PCP thinks it’s better, not sure what my Pulmonologist will say, I see her in a couple of weeks.
I like the Dreamstation 1 that I got with the recall. It is either refurbished or one that was corrected. Breathes much better and use it more than the Resmed Air Sense that I got during the recall but before I got the replacement. My Sleep Doctor just told me that Phillips will no longer make Apnea machines because they lost too much money with the recall.
Hello, thank you for the video. I have a question about the plate under the humidifier: should it be warm? This question because in my house it's just lukewarm and I find that strange, especially as it irritates one nostril. (i Have a Resmed 11). I have another Question : over several hours of use, should the water level in the reservoir drop significantly?
Yes it should be warm, but you can adjust the temperature/humidity level. Warm/humid air is healthier to breath than dry air. Most people will use most or all of their water in reservoir over an 8 hour sleep. If the water runs out too fast, turn down the humidity level.
What about the performance? The algorithms? Which one is better
Resmed 11 is far better than DS2 but isn’t the best machines for algorithms Löwenstein prisma 20A is suppose to be the best for that 👍🏻

Get an overnight oximetry done. You might need an increase in pressure.
well you didnt have the resmed set up properly then

What about the software, how do they operate in case of obstruction, is the data format universal and so on...?

It is not about how it looks, but how it works. Bad review.
