Another win/win move because strong prospects like this are going to be big in say 3 years and you start to see players like Freeman & Hernandez edge closer to retirement. Hard to see a downside here unless of course you're other teams in the NL West.
Good video Dan. I wish the Giants had this problem of having TOO many good players and being forced to make moves on them. What annoys me is the Dodgers are always trying to upgrade their positions no matter what, I wish the Giants could do that! It baffles me why the Reds would want another infielder with their surplus in the IF. Although it has been downplayed, I could reasonably see Lux being traded to NYY. Excited for tonight!
I'm not surprised Lux was traded, but it doesn't feel like equal compensation. I'm not going to second-guess the Dodgers since they don't make many stupid moves.
The Dodgers didn't get back equal value but I'm OK with it. Kim might or might not work out but we got alot of options out of this. Who knows, maybe Kim works out and he can be another Edman for us.
This trade wasn't about getting a player back it was about opening a roster spot for Sasaki and adding 2 high draft picks for the farm I like this Sirota kid he has power and speed.
Hey coach! Great job as always! Was this traded really needed for the Dodgers? Do they really trust Kim already from the KBO? Maybe I’m wrong. We shall see By the way look out for those Reds! This is a going to be a fun young team led by De la Cruz, McLain, Steer, Greene, Abbot
The dodgers are masters at this. Built the team and build the farm team
Good breakdown
Lux didn’t have a position and can’t play other positions. Dodgers would only use him against righties.

What did the giants do today??
Nothing
@@Giantsfan-u9o Yup. Nothing as has been the norm.
😂😂😂
The pick they got for him is worth 2.5 million in bonus pool money. I assume that’s international money so now they can offer Roki max $?
Could be fun to use your hats to show the division standings when the season starts 👀

Replenish farm system; got younger (last year’s 3rd rdr and this year’s #37 draft pick).
Tbf, Lux wasn't worth that much
Dan you called this !

Giants don’t do anything
I seriously doubt we will ever get a japanese player
😢
Think Lux was worth a bit more, but the Dodgers have a lot of guys for the same position so not much leverage.
😂😂
Lux sucks
Gnats suck. WS champion fool.
