I dont see how Kim makes sense. Hes not much if any upgrade on what they already have. .242/.326/.380 slash 99 ops+. They can get that production wuth guys already on the roster. Robert only makes sense if they believe in his bat. He has been super inconsistant. I think they prefer a more sure thing than Robert. But im trusting Friedman to make that decision. Like Arenado think that deal would have already been done if they were interested. Think the move will come from an unexpected player like Conforto which none of us saw coming. More likely no other addition coming. The last note is that this the least flexible roster they have had in quite some time, think they want to keep at least one spot for a pleyer with options so the can have an up/down spot for players with options. I believe they only have one position player spot for that. Regarding Sasaki, they dont need to create a spot for hm until they can start puting guys on the 60 day IL. He signs a minor league contract to start. Its been a remarkable two year period for the Dodgers. Adding Ohtani, Yamamoto, Teo, Glasnow, Edman, Kopech, Flaherty(half season), Snell, Conforto, Sasaki. Scott, Yates. Has any team added that much talent to a roster in a two year span? Fun time to be a Dodger fan!

Bergman ,Alanzo, Jack F. Have been out their for months and no one has signed them. Cheap owners. If Dodgers needed any of these players, they would sign them and people would complain.

Dan, I don't disagree with you about the toll that playing shortstop takes on a player and Mookie is 32. He's also extremely competitive, was complaining that RF was "boring" for him. He wants to play the most demanding position because of the challenge. And from the Dodgers point of view, it's Mookie Freaking Betts, Dan! If shortstop is what he wants, you let him play shortstop. And if the Dodgers wanted someone else to play shortstop, they have a 23 year old who was just rated in the top 100 prospects in Alex Freeland. There's no reason to waste anytime on a middling former Padre second baseman coming off shoulder surgery in May or June. They're not moving Mookie back to the outfield. They didn't spend sizable offseason dollars on Teoscar and Comforto to not start either of them in 2025. That makes no sense.

Always liked arenado..would love to see him in la..not at the expense of muncy though..id maake muncy a utility guy if they got him...i think luis robert is a better fit sadly..and a good guy to take a chance on.

I disagree that Giants fans all would love it if the organization was doing the same thing as the Dodgers are doing. We love our homegrown talent. That’s how we won. Three World Series in five years not by just buying all those free agents. I guarantee you, Giants fans would not be happy if the organization was doing at the exact same way the Dodgers are doing it. It’s not as satisfying.

I don't think a star is necessary for the lineup, it's pretty complete but it doesn't hurt to have some IF depth. I would utilize some of the excess SP depth to trade for a near ready MLB 3B when teams get desperate for pitching at the deadline. There's nobody in the minors ready behind Muncy.

Zero chance the Dodgers move Pages. They’ll ship off Outman before him. Frankly, I could see them moving Bobby Miller at some point.

I don’t think the giants don’t want to compete I think the giants and other teams see what the dodgers are doing and realize they would have to go out and spend so much money and still realize they can’t compete with the dodgers so what’s the point? That’s why I feel what the dodgers are doing just hurts the mlb in a whole. And the next MLB CBA meeting I’m sure we will see a lock out after 2026.

Here’s what I think, Dodgers needs to acquire Arraez and Arenado. And trade for Grove, Muncy Outman and Graterol. To make this happen in a three or four way trade. Those three or four teams are Dodgers, Cardinals, Padres and maybe Astros or White Sox.

The Dodgers need to trade some of the excess relievers they have in order to make room for Kiké Hernández and for Kelly. Please don't re-sign Kershaw because he has been done and is just living off his laurels...he's at best an injury prone journeyman undeserving of a spot on the team. Release and eat Taylor's contract and give his spot to Dalton.

Gonsolin, Outman, Kendall George for Luis Robert Jr. Frees up two spaces on the 40 man, gets Robert Jr at CF, which allows Edman to move to SS full time, and puts Mookie at 2nd base full time which is best for his health/longevity. That’s the only big move that I can see that fits the dodgers perfectly. Arenado does not fit the Dodger standard, and has no fit. Braiser will also be released or traded for a lower level prospect.

Was just saying this. I mean Pete Alonso could be on a HoF pace to his career and he’s sitting in free agency like two weeks before pitchers and catchers report??? In what world does that make any sense? This league needs to be reformed. You can’t institute a salary cap with a quarter of the league spending 50 million on player salaries. So there’s need to be a salary minimum as well. Or you get penalized double what you didn’t spend to reach it or something.
