    This is about my favourite style of video I think= nice to look at & masses to see as well as informative..
    Prague has been on my go to list (I love the architecture) for a long while, time I got going !!!! I'll pass on the meat but the rest looked scrumptious, especially Paprika.

      Paprika actually does all veggie days (I think it's Monday) so definitely one to check out :) Thank you, and noted - we'll try and do more videos like this one!

    lovely video, thanks for making it - as someone who lives here, it is nice to see recommendations (in English) for some non-czech food restaurants (though of course I've enjoyed many a Czech meal already!). I am surprised to see so many comments giving a hard time about you suggesting people eat non-czech food while in Prague, even though you say at the start of the video, "*after* you've had your czech dining..." i'm glad you made it anyhow, i've only been to Cafe Jedna (for drinks) and am interested in trying out Paprika - looked so good!

    • @WeFilmThings
      @WeFilmThings  6 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      E.V. Bell thanks for your lovely comment! I made the video because I think Prague has some really great places to offer which have sprung up over the past few years and there are already plenty of articles and videos that recommend Czech food spots and not that many that recommend non-Czech restaurants in English... but anyway, given the feedback, we might do a Czech food video too 😂 Let us know what you think if you do visit any of the places I recommended!

    Kantyna is one of my favorite place in Prague, you're served so fast, and it's also so good. I've also been there just for the beer before because the Pilsner is so fresh. I'm definitely going to try Spejle and Paprika, they look really good and I've also walked by Spejle and looked in the windows probably 50 times. You should check out Plavel in Vrsovice for really nice vegetarian food, or maybe kofein in Vinohrady near JZP for their tapas. I really love kofein because you can sit at the bar and drink nice wine while watching the chef saute and make salads. Cheers!

      @WeFilmThings  6 ปีที่แล้ว

      Amazing, thanks so much for the recommendations! Will add them to our Prague food map. I like Spejle because it's fun, but Paprika and Kantyna are definitely superior in terms of food (and yes, beer!). Thank you for watching :)

    I went to Cafe Jedna on your recommendation, but was so disappointed! The food took 40 minutes to arrive and was without flavour. The couple next to us left at that time, having never received their order. I felt sorry for the staff, because the real problem seemed to be a lack of management., they were stressed and tearful when I complained, but it is a problem of absent management I think.

    • @WeFilmThings

      Trdlo is pretty ubiquitous in Prague. It probably worked its way over to the Czechs during the austro-hungarian empire from the hungarians, just like goulash, which many czechs now claim as their own. Personally, i think it's delicious and consider it fine to sample Trdlo and consider it Czech while in Prague.
