Hi there. As a fellow Canadian from Ontario is it profitable to mine Kaspa with the ICERIVER KS3M KAS MINER (6000GH)? How much does setting up the infrastructure for the power outlet?
Hello, thanks for sharing the setup guide! Really helpful and i am doing the setup now. One quick question, the machine seems to be extremely noisy, the noise travel all the way up to level 3 😵😱 is it supposed to be this noisy or how do i know if it is something wrong with this machine? appreciate your help
Can I get some clarification for the infrastructure needs for this asic? Needs a special cable (c20 to c14), a 200 volt pdu. Aside from that is there anything else?
I'm trying to learn about mining by watching videos like this one, but what I've found is that they're very expensive if you get paid $100 a day. I wonder if the people who manufacture them look at the profit on them and set the price based on that instead of what the parts and manufacturing cost? Does anyone have any idea about this?
how are you just plugging this into a powerbar? the ks3m runs at 15 to 16 amps and most the power bars are rated at 16a for the c19 plug. 80% of 16 is 12.8a so how do we do that safely?
***Please correct your video: DO NOT BUY a C19 to C14 cable. 14 AWG cables are not meant to operate at 15 A continuously. You can only buy a C19 to C20 or C19 to L6-30P rated for 20 A (12 AWG). As someone else pointed out, make sure your PDU has 20 A outlets otherwise you might have to install a dedicated breaker/outlet for the machine.
Infinite cables c19 to c14 can operate at 15a 240v. They are industrial grade go check the website. I have them running for years no problem over 3000watts.
@@redpanda9840 Industrial grade has nothing do to about it. Ultimately, the capacity of a cable at a CONTINUOUS load is determined by the capacity of the cable gauge multiplied by 80%. You are not supposed to run a cable at 100% amp capacity 24/7. At 3000 watts/240V, you are at 83% capacity of the cable (close enough), but the KS3M pulls 3400 watts, which would be 94% of the cable capacity. If the ambient temperature goes up, the KS3M could pull more amps than the capacity of the cable. If you have this cable connected on a 20A circuit breaker (and no 15A breaker in between), you got yourself a house fire.
Does anyone know about metchain mining, $60 per day is mined here , coin supply now 32000,000 GPU mining heavyhash lol minner Decentralized blockchain for smart contract execution, powered by an evolved Heavyhash algorithm l3 project

Thanks. Now I had to get a new PDU. Mine only had C13 outlets. The one I just ordered has 6 C13 and 2 C19.
