I wear a nesbit. My current dentist didn’t suggest it. He suggested an implant or a bridge. I said, what about a nesbit? He forgot that I worked in dental offices for years. I was an assistant, and a front desk employee.
😂😂😂
Nesbit's are not cheap either. Might as well just get a bridge.
Yeah but Nesbit doesn’t stop jawbone deterioration
Now the hard part is finding an actual ethical dentist in Las Vegas that will admit this is an option.
Here's an idea: Make dental health affordable for all. Then you won't need to have teeth replacements. But we know that will never happen because there's no money in it.
Preventive dentistry is not expensive, neglect is
@@DrTerriAlani lies. Dental care is for the rich. Poor people can’t afford root canals or basic dental care or education about dental hygiene. The system is designed this way and you know it. DOCTOR Terri Alani Just like big pharmaceutical! It’s all about money and no one really gives a shit about the poor.
@@DrTerriAlani The dental industry relies largely on the poor with rotten or crooked teeth for your business. So why not make dental health/education available to all people? Because the dental industry and insurance companies would lose billions. Supply and demand. Bad teeth equals good profits.
@@wildlyunrulyadventures3942 that is not our goal as a profession...we educate on a daily basis prevention to our patients...we offer programs in our community to help those in need ...I am not a fan of insurance companies...we are on the same page there ...

What is This God sent tooth replacement called again please😊❤
This just gave me so much hope. I've always had a beautiful smile and suddenly 3yrs ago i started suffering grom boneloss and now have 2 elongated teeth. This has affected my social life, confidence and caused me and pain emotional distress. I need to come to your dental office
I hope you get everything you need ❤
You could also try teeth/smile subs
I wish the dentist who pulled my tooth 20 years ago mentioned this or really any solution to replace my pulled baby tooth. I was so sad and just thought I would have a permanent space. And I did have no tooth there for a long time until I could afford an implant a few years ago. The way I smiled very much towards one side for a long time really affected me. Sadly I was self conscious. It almost looks like I have Bell’s palsy because my face muscles go towards one side more than the other to this day when I smile. Your work here looks great.
So sorry about your experience, but I am glad you have an implant now… And thank you:)

I finally heard her correctly. It's called the Nesbitt Partial. Good luck.
@@marke.haller4267😂 right?!

Yea
Implants can cause many different complications as well depending on the patient, their current health as well as their history of health conditions. So I think this is a great option.
Brilliant! This is the solution I didn't know I needed. Thank you so much Doc. New Subscriber.
Welcome!
Sad but true
Its so expensive all kinds of dentures stuffs
I cant afford any of it😢
That’s fantastic. I could not tell!! I need to talk to my dentist.
Thank you for this video. I got my first flipper, or nesbit', today, and I was going nuts tonight, after I left denist, to get it back in.
I watched your video, and you made it look so easy.
😅 Finally, I got it back in. Thanks. 👍
Glad my video was helpful!
@@DrTerriAlani Good work! What are the disadvantages of implants? Don't they hurt at some point? Don't they live a permanent scar? Will they be there until the day you die? Will they become lose at a certain stage? I would appreciate clarity.
@@jesussaves2822implants unfortunately are the worst yet expensive n they usually don't last for a lifetime

Yesss GOD bless you Dr. You out here giving ppl lifeeeee😊😊❤
That's what I need instead of a bridge and until I can afford implants, if I even decide to get implants after these.
The only negative thing about these vs implants is that the bone underneath will still deteriorate, because there is no more tooth root to stimulate it (in implant, the screw acts like a root of the tooth, which saves the alveolar bone), but it is a good temporary and much cheaper solution
I got a bridge and it cost me thousands. And somehow it got lost. These seem so much better. I'd like to get implants in the future but they're expensive.
Metal in the mouth is so bad for u
Do not get implants in your mouth it's been studied that they cause harm to the body and can lead to serious disease like cancer.
If you have good gums then do a retainer with the missing teeth so that when you do do implants the gums are still fresh and don’t not have that grey look when you take out teeth like this
I need those, so cool, and they look so natural..,
yeh but what were they called?
@@christineanderson487They are called Valplast flexible partials
Yes wat r they called and how can I order online
@@christineanderson487 They’re called the Nesbit, there’s some info about them in the description (the three dots at the top right) apparently they’re $750-950, depending on how many teeth you’re getting replaced. Still a bit expensive, (at least for me) but way less than an implant. I’m not sure you can order them online, I think you’d need to get it done in person, as they’d need to know what shape, size, etc. I’m guessing they’d need to measure and make molds like they do for dentures. Hope this helped :D

Approximately 850 but you may need a partial...depends on teeth positioning

Wish I seen this sooner. I have 1 missing front tooth. I had a partial made. It clips onto the upper teeth, yet comes down too far above my tongue. Sometimes I have a slight lisp from it 😪
I have partial dentures on the way but am scared it will change my speech.
My best friend needs this, its like flippers. He wears grills to hide the fact his 4 fronts are gone.. I wish I could get him this
How did he get a grill with no teeth
Omg i need this come to NYC please
Awesome. Thank you for this great option!!!
This is what a great dentist. Options are good for the patient.
Thank you !
Nesbits are great for cosmetic purposes. I have one in place of a missing lower jaw molar, until I make a more permanent decision and it is a bit too flexible to bear the impact of daily eating (as is ..... may try some dental adhesive?).
Don’t they have to adjust it more, for better fitting? Let them know, who ever did the partial.
@@daisymarquez1851 Note: I ordered Nesbite from an online dental lab. I chew primarily on the side of my replacement tooth. It has a great appearance - virtually undetectable. And it fits well, however, it "gives" due to the flexible material. Which is why regular denture adhesive may be useful (haven't tried yet though).
Cost?
Buy a spare in case if you swallow one while eating or drinking it happened to me
This is transitional and temporary. You will still need an implant sooner than later or you'll lose bone where the tooth used to be.

This must be a lot cheaper than dental implants and bridges. Nooone of my denists .... and not even the 2 oral surgeons I went to ever mentioned this as an option. I'm going to show this video to my dentist next month.
Ma’am, please consider an implant for the canine, or orthodontically correct the occlusion to group function with the Rpd canines. Otherwise flexible is a good option. For cheaper options in implants, I can point towards India
