Man, I gotta say, your camera work is awesome, I don't think people realize how hard it is to work on a car 1 handed while holding a camera and always being able to get good footage.
Hey Puddin, all the stuff on the carport stuff is really cool. I like it. I think a lot of people just like watching you because you do things that a lot of us would not be able to do. This is one of your biggest fans name Eric from Oceanside, California, and I can tell you right now. I’ll never stop watching you. You really are teaching me what it’s like to have to drag home something that’s not in good shape and just turning it into something you can actually drive and have fun with
I've been here for a few years now, and I've gotta say this is exactly what i wanna see in a build. A guy with a cut-off wheel welder and a dream. This proves that even if a guy has tools, sometimes the basics is all you need and a dream. Well done, Mr. puddin.
Hey Puddin, I love this build! The great thing about building cars/trucks is they don't know or care what motor you put in. They don't care what body is swapped. They go or they don't. Parts fit or they don't. The only thing that matters is that you enjoy what you're doing. I loved playing cars as a kid, and I still love playing cars as a 54 year old kid. Keep up the great work. It's fun just watching you have fun.
Hey pudding, I am enjoying this build. Every time I watch an episode , it makes me want to go out and work on some of my own junk! That Toyota is going to be SHARP!!!!!
In Tulsa for work drove down to Taco boy! Literally the nicest person I have ever met and the food was amazing! He hooked me up with the Puddin burrito! Everybody go to Taco Boy! It is so worth it and goes to a great family!
Many years ago, I bought a 1968 Toyota Corona from a mechanic friend for $50. It had spun a rod bearing, and since I worked at an auto parts store that had a machine shop in the back, I rebuilt the engine completely. One of the things I remember about the car is that the horns were branded as "Toyota Elephant Horns". I can say that the whole time I had the car I never had a problem with elephants.
The one thing I like about your channel is you are a fabricator I am a builder of everything I built cars I am a professional hand cover in Gatlinburg Tennessee I believe in America and you do too cuz when you build here in America you save America and that's respect and you have my respect 100% that's why I follow your channel is your a builder I've been a builder all my life Love the truck
Loving this build. A lot of good fabrication being shown off on this episode. That Rock-a-billy music slow camera work, at the end of the episode was KILLER. Your editor is the BEST. Keep up the great work.
When you first started cutting on these trucks I couldn’t really see the vision, now seeing it come back together a bit, I get it! That thing is gonna be sweet!
Not much of a Toyota fan but really loving this build! Watched every second of it so far. As a body guy I’ve gotta give you props for your panel fitment, she looks mint!
Hi Puddin, you surprised me, I could not fathom how you were going to put that frontend back on with all the changes . Well done, can’t wait to see you drive it . We enjoy your videos and I love Theo. 🐶
Two excellent videos my friend, thoroughly enjoyed them very much! My compliments to your figuring dimensions & patterns for the bracing pieces on the fly, very impressive! Many thanks for the entertainment, hope to see Part 3 real soon!
Seeing a great example of what caught my eye in the OG. Puddin fabricating and making something creative using some tools common in many garages. Certain some viewers will go ahead and start a project that were afraid to start having doubts. Keep your go ahead approach, certain your skills will overcome mistakes. You make an old mans week, Mondays and Thursdays. I watch several channels, you are in the top five. Will it starts and junkyards are a part of your channel, but I enjoy your building the most. You can see Puddin' just running the entire process through his mind even when he's 'firing from the hip!' He has a good idea what the finished product is going to look like, and he's got the skills to get there. It's like watching a mad scientist at work, gotta love it!
When I worked at my buddy’s shop after I retired from the Navy, people would ask “ can you make this fit in this or on this” types of questions. We’d always say you can make anything fit anything with enough time and work. You sure like to prove that point. Another great video!!
I’m excited about seeing how this turns out! I had my doubts at first but so far you’re killing it. I’m dying for the video when you start on the window/dash area. I can see the vision and it’s going to be a badass daily!
@Puddin's Fab Shop Morning Puddin! I wonder if you couldn't trim down the cowl piece you cut off the 67 into this to close the gap between the windshield and the red Toyota and be able to have wipers. I went to school many, MANY moons ago for body work but have been out of that game since 1990. Watching your videos helped me piece together mounting brackets for a headlight for one of our semis because the driver hit a deer and destroyed the headlight bucket and replacing the hood ranges from 2-4 grand. Thank you for the ideas! I was skeptical at first with this build but knew if anyone could pull it off it would be you. Theo looks very happy. He found his forever home. 🙂🦾
You did an amazing job. When you first started this project, I can't say that I understood what you were going for but now I get it. With a lot of hard work and a little luck, you pulled it off. Maybe you can hide the battery under the seat? Yea, you still have a lot to do but it will be worth all the hard work in the end. I think that you even amazed yourself in the end. Thanks for taking us along for the body swap. I would not have believed it if I had not seen it.
I thought for sure this was going to be a frame and drivetrain swap, instead of a grafting. Well at least you still have the metal and glass to fix the dually cab.
Great job on getting that Stout to fit on that drive train Puddin. Can't wait to see it finished man, it'll be the perfect shop truck for you and Theo to ride around in. See you on the next video! 👍
From rust and ruin. Formed in sparks and steel. When you are building from the picture in your head you are the only one who knows what road you started down but like any journey. There may be a lot of detours along the way. and you might end up somewhere unexpected. Sit back hit the gas grab a gear. and enjoy the ride! Also that core support looks....pretty stout :D
This is a real example of what PFS actually means! Your skill at ripping stuff apart and moving it around to suit your new concept is so entertaining. How on earth do you remember where all the pieces and brackets go (not to mention fasteners) ? Your channel is becoming well known and will likely hit 300k soon. Congrats.
She's lookin tight and right, Mr Puddin! I usually have trouble getting behind burrito body builds. But I've learned not to underestimate PFS. You got this!
Great work my friend. Love that Stout build. I know you probably won’t see this comment but dang, I can’t wait to see what you do with that old van. It would be badass with air shocks, wide slicks on aluminum slot wheels. Maybe some drag pipes down the side. Perhaps some shag carpet inside. I know that’s not your style but I’m sure it will be awesome no matter what you do to it.
Hey Puddin! On the." Road trip ready model A". If the steering wheel is straight. You can look from outside to the inside walls of your front and rear tires and get the correct toe. If! The wheels are the same depth. Align. lower inside walls of front with the rear. And give a quarter inch added toe- inward. You'll be close enough.
Dang puddin ur doing the thing very inspirational man no matter how bad my day is going when i see your new video droped it brings a smile to my face even thow i build bikes ur videos reminds me as long as u try anything is possible thanks for the inspiration to keep going keep it up u realy dont know the difference u make just by doing ur videos
The dedication to your chop shop is inspiring, now I know what to do with all those stolen vehicles without papers in the back 40, thanks for teaching me your art ❤
I am absolutely stoked for this build! It's probably too late to say anything now, but I would have just moved the drier since you're going to have to re-do A/C lines anyway. Something that hopefully isn't too late, is the stock airbox. If it's in the budget, check out SNP Speed Innovations. Gabe makes a wire harness that works with a Haltech that will eliminate that crappy air flow meter and a bunch of other good things. Easy to wire up, takes the place of the stock ECU while using the stock harness, he can custom tune it and have it run even better than factory. Or you can rip out all the EFI crap and throw a Offy manifold and a Weber :D Also, if you can find other pickups at D&H or where-ever, a gauge swap is very easy. Assuming you care to have the cluster with the tach.
Good-Nite that’s gonna be a sharp looking little horse. I’ve never seen one of those trucks before, but what a nice little horse. Keep up the good work, man.
Love this little truck. I had never heard of one before either and like I’ve said before, I never thought I’d be watching mini trucks and box trucks on tv, but here I am and it’s awesome!
Good morning from Cape Cod ⛵ HOLY CRAP!! You are really bringing this project together, I'm absolutely amazed at how great it really looks. I'm so happy for you Puddin, you're going to have yourself one awesome Stout ✌️🇺🇲

For guy who didn't want a dog, you sure spend a lot of time lovin' on him(as you should)! He is living his BEST life because of you!
