- this channel is about my motorcycle lifestyle and what I do and how I use my motorcycles. I would ride a bike over being in a cage any day of the week, limited only by snow on the road I will ride all year around here in northern Utah.
here is the equipment I am using to make my videos.

amzn.to/3A5IS30 Tusk off road peg's for the KLR 650 these will give you much more stability off road and your boots will not slip off if they get wet.
amzn.to/3piQxFW Skid Plate works on 2022 KLR 650 and I am sure older ones as well. Bolt on to standard model KLR some drilling if you have the adventure model.

Love the views, fantastic ride. Thanks for sharing.
Glad you enjoyed it
Agreed. I'm around 10 MPH up for each gear. Good info. Thank you, Mr. B.
Right on
thanks for sharing this info
My pleasure
I’ll consider. Myself:
1. 1-15 mph
2. 15-25
3. 25-35
4. 35-45
5. 45 +
I’m still pissed we have no tachometer.
I shift at about the same. I am not liking going over 65-70 on this bike.
I have been riding for 38 years had lots of bikes with no tach
Right 70 is about it for me as well.
I prefer to have power in reserve too.
it's always a good thing for sure.
I was wondering 🤔 also.
Basically just shift at the point that you are not bogging the engine when you go to a higher gear
I watched a video that TH-cam recommended of a dude who was curious about whether or not his modified 2022 KLR 650 could hit over 100 mph and for a second it hit 102 before dropping back down into the 90s. Personally I am not a motorcycle rider even though I like motorcycles and think they are awesome. It seems to me that the KLR 650 isn't really meant to reach speeds over 95 mph even when it has been modified. It's probably bad for the engine to be pushed to those speeds anyways, but at least he knows it can be done even though it's not meant to...
This bike is a low compression single cylinder bike and it's really not meant to go much over 70 because it raps the engine RPMS so high, but you can go faster by changes to the sprockets and things like that, but it's not really very stable at those speeds and he is probably lucky it didn't go into a death wobble.
It's not really meant to go over 75.
