Good plan Adam. I think you have started a good trend with the big fake plants in AC tanks. Hiding spots are key for subdominant males as well for those who try to keep multiple males in same tank.
I have kept my tank just under 80f and will move decor around as part of a water change. I use plants and rock formations to break line of sight so a harassed fish can get a break. Fortunately my boss/beast, the venustus, has only targeted one fish, a polystigma and that battle is over. Otherwise he tends to be mellow and will break up fights when they start between other fish, like the tetrastigma and the T Reef. Love the plants!
Great tip...ive gotta scape up my tanks from these domo males! Thanks Adam C as usual great vid..ive done a week of timeout in a breeder box, but i like changing the decor way...sounds like a winner
I like the look of the tank buddy I bet you don’t lol you are absolutely right on that I mix up my tank decor all the time I see you have a bunch of fry to that’s awesome there beautiful fish
Thank you Ry I appreciate it. Yes I've had an explosion in fry lately of all different species. It has been raining here non stop for like a week so I've kept the windows open to let the low pressure in. They always breed in that low pressure
If you're going to have more than one male in a species tank.. I always find it's better to have three then just two.. that way that subdominant male doesn't always get beat on
Mate good ideas I've got so much stuff in my tank u almost crnt see the fish and I have had 2 put 2 males n 1 female in my holding tanks because no matter what I do they tear 1another apart so know try in to heal them again

Unfortunately aggression is part of the hobby. Those are good tips to try and curb it.
The best way is just keep one fish
Add Some more males, i hold aulonocara in groups like 4-5m 6-8F all males full color and no fighting 😁
Yes I'm on the lookout
those are sweet albinos bud
Thanks william
Removed decors ( territory ) and females and never had aggression or lip locking. :)
