    This is the most awesome Telluride I’ve seen. Kia just HAVE to change the KIA logo for the Korean version with just the “K”.

    I’m not a Kia fan or hater however hats off to you, the local dealership and the shop you’re working with on this build. You’re the real deal and if an entity wants to introduce a new product to this community, they should partner with people such as yourself. Although the Telliuride seems like an awesome vehicle there is plenty of proven competition out there this will have to go against. I’m a proud ‘12 Tundra 4x4 owner so I may not be in the market for this type of vehicle however someone like my daughter with a growing family may be interested especially after seeing what the vehicle could become, as well as see it in action with real use from real folks. She is currently looking at the Subaru Ascent or a mid size truck. This series has brought curiosity toward this model.

      @PrimalOutdoors  5 ปีที่แล้ว

      Thanks, Carlos. I really appreciate the kind words. I am enjoying this opportunity and the vehicle has been great so far. I agree...it is a tough market but I hope that I can put this vehicle to the test and see what all the Telluride can do.

    Looks like the first step in the natural offroad progression that leads to the eventual purchase of a Jeep or a 4runner.

      @@kilo5overlanders no this is the off-road progression from a Tacoma to more of a overlanding with air condition and comfort. If it can do what a 4runner can do I would rather drive this as my everyday instead of the Tacoma or 4runner and especially a Jeep

      Primal Outdoors - Camping and Photography Thanks for your reply and just saw your video about supporting your channel.
      BTW, I know it’s already done on your build, but here is how a video from another Kia Telluride owner on how he did the 7-pin conversion th-cam.com/video/HImHBByyGgU/w-d-xo.html
      I’m hoping Kia gets some input from experienced recreational users and it helps them develop the Telluride more. Rome wasn’t built in a day, but the ease of access and adding the lift to the suspension is encouraging.

You are a very "straight up" guy and an excellent representative of the overland and outdoor adventure community. You make extremely high quality videos and I am absolutely certain that you will do us all proud and provide some great opportunities for everyone to see what these vehicles are capable of. I am looking forward to seeing where this all goes. Take care my friend and thanks for sharing your adventures and challenges with us.

    I think you guys did a nice job on the Telluride. Looks good. Might be what is needed to get someone to start exploring with theirs.

    Nice job overall. Love the channel.

You said earlier that you was going to hells canyon is that still in the works before the expo. Yes I'm still a fan of the Ford but a change for awhile will be good too. Rory Mundy Rory Mundy Hi-Lift jacks can lift, pull, and crush. All of which can be used a number of ways. With a winch kit you can use it as a 7 ton winch. With a wheel adapter you can lift a wheel to place the vehicle on a jack stand or to fill in the hole below the wheel for traction. You can use it on your trailer, to free a stuck chainsaw, etc

    I just got back from a weekend getaway with my family. We had planned a short hike that is supposed to have an amazing view at the summit. Problem was that the drive to the trailhead was over a rather rough dirt and rocky road and the tail end of it still had snow. Our poor car got manhandled by the road and in the end couldn't get through the snow, so we had to turn back. The whole way I was thinking, "If only I had that sweet modded Telluride! I was also really wishing I had the center lane assist and smart cruise control on the 3 hour drive between home and the cabin.

      Just get a 4 runner, it will be even more capable than the telluride without mods.

      @OurBusinessHero 5 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@redpilledpatriot8484 I get that the 4runner is far more capable than the Telluride off road. My challenge is that I will use the car 90% on road and 10% on. And the Telluride is a far superior on road vehicle while still being reasonably capable for on rough off-roads (though not rock climbing, which I won't be doing, anyway).

      OurBusinessHero yeah, I think telluride is more spacious 2

    Will the 265/60/18 size tire work without the 2” spacer lift? Want to do tires first then the lift later if possible. Thanks!

    Love your videos and we'll be following a similar path since we sold our 4x4 sprinter and are going to try and scale down to car camping an possibly tow a tear drop like yours, anyway we are getting an Telluride SX and the dealer is going to lift it, put better tires and a roof rack, hopefully similar to your build but I cannot locate internal dimensions when the seats are all folded down, 3rd and 2nd row. We plan to sleep in the rig alot and want o design a mattress to either go in between the wheel wells or possible over the top, can you give us the measurements of the distance between wheel wheels? Ours will have 2nd row buckets so we'll have to come up with something to put between the 2nd row buckets to support the bed. Also I'd like your thoughts on going down to 18" tires vs leaving the 20" wheels and just replacing the tires. Thanks again great job with the videos! We spent most of last year on the road, 34,000 miles in the US and Canada , mainly like to boon-dock so your camping style of roaming especially appeals to us and we value your observations greatly and being preofessional photographers and drone pilots we love your content, you can see ours on Instagram and TH-cam at vangonow. Thanks again.

      Did you ever find out what the width is between the wheel wells for a mattress? If so, I'd love to know that measurement. Thanks!

    Agreed, looks pretty good. There are some things that could be better but the lack of aftermarket for cars like this makes it tough.
    Do you have info or a link for those knobs you used for your high lift etc? I couldn’t find them when I was searching.
    Thanks!

    It looks sharp, came out great. It looks undersprung in the rear with all the weight and kinda bouncy. I'd be interested in hearing about the 4 wheel drive system, is there a low range?

    How did you attach the rhinorack to the roof? Did you have to screw into the roof or were you able to use the factory flush rails? Looking to do the exact same thing but really don't want to screw into the roof. Do you know the measurements of the two different heights you had to use for mounting? Thanks

    Love the Overland potential of the Telluride with these mods yet still kicking it as a SUV on the road. Did you all just disable all the front sensors or were you all able to keep them all running without problems?
