I did interact with some old money type of guys. Most of them don't really care about what you wear as a watch. I even got a compliment from someone when I wore a Casio AE1200. Same guy was wearing a Credor Eichii 2. I vowed to myself then I would get that watch in the near future. If anything, old money would wear some of the less known but more classic brands like Blancpain, Vacheron Constantin, Breguet, A. Lange & Sohne. I would not be surprised if these guys have a custom-made watches just for them

If you live in a big city you’ll see these everyday, several times a day. If you want something unique, look for a smaller company or independent watch brand. I just want watches that have a vintage look to them from companies that have a long heritage. That’s why I love my Tudor 1926. Looks modern because of the shine but has an old look to it which I love that most consumers don’t care for. My next watches are a Rolex OP41 with a green dial and possibly Longines Sector Dial with a black/grey dial. I love the elegant timeless look of them. If I want sporty watch, I’ll get a Casio, which everyone knows they are God Tier. 🤣
