RULES:
During setup, White fills the first 4 rows with pawns. Black setups their pieces like normal. White’s objective is to checkmate black’s king. Black’s objective is to capture all of white’s pawns. Black moves first and only the Black pawns have the initial two-step move option. En passant is allowed for white like normal. If white move a pawn the farthest row it may promote to any piece. If white is unable to move, the game results in a stalemate. - แนวปฏิบัติและการใช้ชีวิต
You could have said "Rules are the same as regular Horde Chess, except for these changes"
yes but there are no changes other than the missing 4 pawns
But isn't "Dunsany's chess" the original name? I have a book (from 1994) "The encyclopedia of chess variants" (written by D. B. Pritchard) , were ist is mentioned. I think the name "Horde Chess" came much later.
@@hassanalihusseini1717 It is, but people don't care about history when you're trying to learn how the game is played, they care about what they already know.
Also, as Random said, there's literally no change outside of the four/six extra pawns, and that white isn't allowed a two move rule for their back two lines.
Wrong. You start from the baseline, which is the traditional chess and not some other variant which is actually predated by Lord Dunsany's one.
Chess: Longest ever game variation
Every time a player makes a move, they have to play a normal game of chess. If the player that made the move wins or draws, the move made gets to be played. If the moving player loses, the move will not be made and the other gets to move (as if their turn got skipped).
The player that checkmates on the main board wins.
Alternative even longer variation:
If the moving player loses the mini chess game, they just don’t get to play the move they chose at first and would have to make another move. Another mini chess game would be played to be determined if the move gets played or not. This repeats until the moving player wins a mini chess game or loses a mini chess game for every move.
In the latter case, the opponent gets to choose the move that the player would make.
I've seen an idea where every time you capture a piece(not pawn) you start playing another game at the same time
if the opponent wants a given move to be made, then the opponent can throw (lose) the mini chess game, so if the player runs out of legal move options, you should just call it a draw
Lol I pitched a similar idea to my brother the other day, except it only happens on captures, and the attacker gets some amount of odds in the form of handicapping the opponent.
I pitched it as Meta Chess
@@hugo57k91 yea it was on r/AnarchyChess
Chess^2
Me: Excuse me, how many chess variant you're going to do?
Triple S Games: *yes*
chess is just very popular
and when somthing is popular, it's better to capitalize on it
it's basically horde chess with a different name, but still a great chess mod
Nah, Black already has fighting chances in Horde and this is just nerfing White

This seems a lot more like Peasant's Revolt than actual Peasant's Revolt
Isn't that similar to another variant?
wow every chess variant just release everyday
Horde chess with extra steps
Extra? it is the exact same thing
It's the original version of the horde premise.
Fair
You should do hoppel poppel!!!!!
Isn't that hord variant?
Horde variant is similar, but they are different.
Chessverse is real
Man i seriously love the you know the drill watch the video but still this is very iinformative
Black goes first 😁😁😁😁
0:25 black moves first. I didn't know chess variants can get this cursed💀
will we get racing kings?
Already done
How is it possible to win at this? the pieces are so lopsided that by share attrition white WILL win. I mean if you take a pawn the pawn behind and to the left or right will take the piece you just moved. Unless there is a special rule on capturing black pieces.
it's basically, a discount horde chess
Why
Oh sorry 😅
From what I know 0:30 that black stays from that move.
Monopoly, Uno, and Chess. The 3 most heavily modded games ever if 3s's videos are anything to go by.
Imagine, *Monopoly Chess*
*Chaturaga, which Chess is just a mod of.
I suggest you Chess Clock Jenga.
It's called fire emblem
999th like!
So basically just horde chess
So basically horde but difficult for white
Trinston was here..
French Revolution Chess.
Why There are no White king?
You Have Alerted The Horde
Horde 2.0
Scrable for Africa 1800s colorized
Chess but every White’s pieces includes the king turn into a whole army of pawns and make it double.
HELLO
It have POP it chessboard
so this is just discount horde
Except it came first, and horde has less than this.
@@deadersurvival4716 umm i count 36 pawns in horde. only 32 pawns in dusany's
@@ActualDumBatcha There are more rules than just the pawns, plus, regardless of all of that, Horde is a direct descendant of Dunsany's.
Why not just let white keep the same pieces vs 32 black pawns? Why does Black go first?
run out of variants or else
@SPINE BONG More than, some of that 2k is groups of variants in themselves that are either too small/ too new to have a name or don't have consistent enough board sizes to include rules.
