that checkmate feels so infuriating
One time I got the opponent king at the side behind both their rooks that have been pinned. I backrank mated immediately. To this day, it's one of the coolest mates I've ever done.

Endgame Chess, the rules are the same as regular chess except for these changes:
Your objective is to collect all six infinity stones and snap your fingers or to checkmate your opponent’s king. If you decide to snap your fingers, there is a 50% chance you or your opponent could disappear forever…
Thanos Chess - before starting the game for every piece (except the king) on the board throw a coin - if the coin lands on heads, remove a piece from the board.
And keep flipping in order until you only have 50% of your units left.
