    To my impression this is the best sun salutation presentation I have seen on youtube so far, informative, straight to the point instructions, there is no excessive talk like many, many other yoga instructors do. Thank you very much!

    The knee on the floor is so nice for people who are a bit overweight or lack strength. Thank you for showing how to connect the individual poses into a flow of movement. I am still not totally clear on the breath with the poses, but I really appreciate this video.

    • @neliaferreira9983
      @neliaferreira9983 2 ปีที่แล้ว +8

      Usually, every time the movement is upwards or outwards (ex. opening arms, spreading legs), it is INhale because you are receiving the world/energy. And every time it is downwards or inwards (ex. knee to chest), it is EXhale, because you are squeezing the world/energy out. Like a balloon: air in it goes up and out/big, air out it goes down and in/small.
      Which means that the slower you do the poses, the slower you are breathing. And if you are breathing more rapidly, you have to match the poses rapidly as well. You can always stay in the pose while you catch your breath, cuz this is supposed to be relaxing, and not stressing over breathing. But also, yoga forces you to be aware of your breathing, which is a good thing. So just dance with it.
