I’m new to this hobby but seen tons on videos while I built my 3”, and setup my mobula. Never seen this done before, thank you so much for showing us! Exactly what i need!
This helped me a lot. Thank you! One adittion, though: This will not work wit UR/US/UK65, because the battery holder is higher than the motors. Just use a cardboard box and cut a hole in it, just big enough for the battery holder. Place whoop on box, calibrate, done!
This was a super helpful video! By getting the quad calibrated in stabilized mode like this it then carries over to acro mode. Holy heck, what a difference between the two modes though!
I think you mean horizon mode where it will self stabilize but will also still flip if sticks are pushed far enough. In acro the accelerometer is not used for any self leveling.
Thanks, just got my first FPV drone, I flied in acro buy I will calibrate angle mode so friends/family can try it indoors (its rainy all the time) . Acro is quite hard :D Btw in moblite7 only trimming would work, because of battery, the drone is not leveled when sitting on the ground

It could be this is basically the same thing just inputting the commands via the transmitter once you get it set just save it with the save stick command and it should be fine
I think I might have worked it out, I have throttle reduced to 50% on 2 x 1s indoors. puting it up to 100% allows me to carry out the calibration, but now it wont take off LoL
Im able to do the accelerometer with the sticks but i dont get the beeps for when I try to trim it left or right. I have the mobula 6 qx7 frsky flight controller
I think i got it to work i saw another video with joshua bardwell and when he does it you dont hear a beeping sound. You just trim and test it to see if it still drifting
So when you connect to betaflight do you see the adjustments there also after the stick inputs? For instance if i want to reset it or something or see how much i've trimmed in the past.
@@edrone_ Thanks, i just got my mobula today and damn it looked easier than it is. I dont really notice any difference between flightmodes that's how noob i am.
If your using your radio for multiple models you dont want to adjust the trim tabs on the radio as your other models will be affected and possibly fly poorly, also you always want your radio trim tabs centered for optimum precision
I just got my mobula 7, and it used to arm just fine but drifted backwards like crazy. So I did what you did in the video, but now my quad won’t arm at all. It just starts quickly beeping. Any suggestions? I would appreciate any help
Can you do this with the FlySky version? I have the i6X transmitter, and the Crazybee F4Pro FS receiver or flight controller. I’m new to this all. The level seems to work well I got mine pretty stable, but the trimming I don’t think works. Also, can you recommend a good battery for these other than the Happymodel 0.25mAh HV 4.35V 30/60C that come with it? And a good charger, cause this 6 in 1 is cheap and inaccurate...
edrone thanks brother! By the way I tried this last night and it made the beep for the calibration for the initial level part and worked well. But now I can’t seem to get it to do it again. It will make the beeps when I try the trimming tho so I dunno. Also for that charger you recommended, is there a port for a wall plug instead of using the Lipo? I guess I could get the wall plug but with the XT60 adapter on the end. Would that be the 12V output one tho? That value was the old value it had before. Dont get it why. Now i can use the stick commands. So now the yaw is not 1000 and 2000, do you think it matters and better change in betaflight.
young betaflight sees 1000 as min and 2000 as max as long as your close within probably 10 or 15 points you should be fine any higher you may need to change in the cli just set your endpoints to whatever the value is in betaflight when they are all the way down and all the way up and it should make it read 1000 and 2000
@@binceproductions4352 there should be a trim adjustment in betaflight on the configuration tab i believe you can adjust that way to try and fix the drifting.
