You remind me of my Papaw who died about 2 years ago. He taught me how to fish and I have my best fishing memories with him. He is basically the best crappie fisherman I know along with bass. Thank you for making these great vids.
I have tried listening to the Pros talk fishing and it's just not the same. When you go fishing it's like we are in the boat with you. We finish the video and write down what we learned. We listen as you always thank your subscribers, viewers and commenters then we most look forward to your signature close. My goodness there Mr. Richard Gene - those were some fine "big" spots and LMB's. Those LMB's looked like 5 to 6 to 7 pounders. Great job using those big shiners.

Good job Richard...l used a couple of those underspins Thursday evening..caught 21 bass and crappie..When they hit that thing it sent a shock wave up my line into my rod..didn't nobody have to tell me l got bit..oookay..they hit hard..Thank you..l fish on the Tenn-Tom waterway..Fulton.ms.

I took a video of allatoona bottoms today it was sleeting on me today and 35 degrees on feb 9th 2019. It hit 80 degrees on the 7th. I have acutally years back on eagle claw 14 foot catfish surfrod i hung a eureka upright vacuum FISHING ON THE BOTTOM where the BIG BOYS LIE. I had 80lb eagle claw test on a heavy duty Okuma spinning set up. You hang a vacuum my folks eyes got huge in a hurry when i reached over and pulled that in the boat. This happened back in the 1980s but very funny and was true. In 2016 i caught a LASKO box fan out of the caney river in Bartlesville Oklahoma my partner was rolling laughing. Fishing Allatoona Landing back in like 2003 i caught a Hibachi grill BOTTOM. people have asked me was that forrest gump style fishing BOTTOM line. I really caught this stuff and it was hilarious. Stan van patton went fishing with me in 2004 he had the motor prop hung and thought it was a bite you talk about a drag singing a boat motor in 3rd speed will flat wind up all his line in a hurry and mak the reel sing and bend his pole over double.
LOL! Yeah Chad I have hooked open pop cans while light line trolling and bumping bottom with a crankbait. Reel it up some and it pulls back down like you got Moby Dick on the other end.
Michael Ferik I ain’t kiddn it was hilarious. But crappie I have had to fish deep bouncing bait off bottom fishing about 12 ft I haven’t seen many sizable crappie but have gotten decent bass hybrid stripe and catfish. Crappie ain’t biting good yet. I did say lol on that vacuum back in the 80s
