They offer no solution whatsoever and my request to get reimbursement has now been pending for more than a week. They are cheap for a reason.

I agree PAL's B777 the old ones especially were outdated. I can see that some seats and its headrest were slowly worn out. They need to refurbish these planes if they are going to stay longer on the fleet or until the A350K comes.
That looks like a flight light on passengers - I really like that and I always hope I get the seat without another person sitting beside me (that's very rare). I experienced one such flight with only average 4 passengers per row from front to back in 2015, with three whole seats to myself by the window.
This is one of their older 777s. Their newer 777s and 350s are definitely much better with lots of upgrades including larger IFE screens. Good review 👍. Hope I’ll be able to fly again with them some day.
Nice vlog! As I was wondering how PAL's doing now, since my family were flying again with our national carrier via YVR-MNL in the next three days. Hope all will turn well The last time I have flew with them back in 2013 roundtrip with B777 while in 2010 A330 and 2011 a340.
I was onboard on PAL A330 _300 LAST year oct 2022 from DMM to MLA and i found out that there's no IFE on economy class. I was so bored because that was a nearly 10 hours flight.
