Hi Coddiwompling Miguel. We wanted to extend a heartfelt thank you for choosing Philippine Airlines for your recent flight. We hope that you had a comfortable and enjoyable journey. We can't wait to welcome you back on board in the near future! Your continued support means a lot to us. ✈💘
Thanks Philippine Airlines for cancelling my trip at the last minute... It was extremely difficult to get a hold of your "customer service" by the way.
Is there any other airline that would take you to Philippines besides private? I recently went to Philippines and I used Philippines airlines, overall it was good!
Good trip report! I hope Philippine Airlines step up their game and reevaluate their fare pricing, otherwise they risk losing to competition like United. The reason I don’t fly PR that often when I go to Manila is because they are much more expensive. I noticed as well their food got a little mediocre compared to the last time I flew with them pre-pandemic.
Brutal flight, in a very uncomfortable seat. Also being nearly 5grand for business class (which also is terrible) makes other airlines a better choice.
Ngayon lang ulit nadaan sa feed ko ang vid mo miguel! The last time ko napanood yung mga vids mo 2020 pa ata lol. It's nice to see youre still here for the love of airplanes!
I'm glad to see that you did a video on the economy class imo I think most of the viewers would fly economy class. My last trip to the Philippines on PAL was the worse experience I had with them in 2022.
Took PAL twice now to Manila for November 30 day stays, love PAL! First time I spent $700 extra on too much Hopper protection, 2nd one I wised up, Lol. First 3 times I took layover flights like Eva whom I liked, but since once each year on these adventures has accumilated the years so it had me reach 74 faster than I imagined resulting in me switching to no stops PAL.
Great to see another vlog from you Miguel ... very enjoyable. Sadly, like PlaneGeekTravels, I seldom go with PAL because of their pricing. I always promised myself that I would try their LHR to MNL non-stop one day but then came the pandemic and the service was dropped never to return. Much of that attraction for me was the A340.
They are doing it this coming October PR124/125 if you ask Filipinos who been doing Seattle to Manila they are going to tell you the premium East Asian competitors are way better than Philippine Airlines if you want to see that easily. Ask this question between PR127 vs SQ21/918 or SQ23/25 & 910 the answer is going to be the Singapore Airlines flight
6:14 The cushion covers are for pax who want so sleep right away, Also notice the slit holes near the headrest, it's because the covers switch from time to time from the 777, A330, A350
I USED TO WORK AT THE PHILIPPINE AIRLINES MAIN OFFICE IN ESCOLTA BRANCH AS SENIOR LEAD RESERVATION AND PASSENGER CONTROL SECTION AT NIGHT SHIFT 9PM -8AM FOR SEVERAL YEARS BEFORE IMMIGRATING TO HOUSTON TX , AS MY WIFE , A REGISTERED NURSE FROM UST WAS ACCEPTED BY THE TEXAS INSTITUTE OF REHABILITATION AND RESEARCH HOSPITAL AS NIGHT SUPERVISOR UNTIL SHE RETIRED IN 2010 AS DIRECTOR OF NURSING
In December it's "Bonjour Paris" as Air France 🇫🇷 is set to start their direct nonstop flights between Manila and Paris Charles De Gaulle, it will be easier for us Schengen Visa holders who regularly travel to Europe 🇪🇺 also for Filipinos living in Europe even French and European visitors, business people coming to the Philippines, time to bid "Au Revoir" to tedious layovers when travelling to Europe. I can't wait to be greeted again with "Bonjour et Bienvenue á Bord" by the cabin crew when they push through as planned a big "Content de te Revoir aux Philippines" that's Welcome Back to the Philippines in French.
Hindi ko feel yung dinner, pero yung breakfast ha WOW SHAWAP!!! Gusto kong makapag-PAL uli, sana yung upcoming nonstop galing Seattle. Weekly ako nag-a-upload ng flight videos.
I'm here because at this moment our cousin will visit us for the firstime for almost 30 years, and we have reunion when they come, take care our cousin,Galen miller ,and crystal dawn miller😍🤗😍
Hello, new sub here. I watched the whole video and it reminded me of when I went to the Philippines againback in 2006 after 32 years here in the states, then went for a vacay again in 2019 ( before the COVID) , came back to the states just in time before the pandemic hits. By the way, what’s the title of the music that’s being played with this vlog, ( hope you don’t mind me asking) coz I like it. Thank you.
I had to take a quick exit out of the Philippines to SFO. Used United because it was cheaper for last minute flight. Their food is not good. How do you have two mornings and not be given a breakfast meal? They gave unidentified meals. United needs to do better. I remember coming over on Philippine Airlines and the food was descent. I enjoyed Philippine Airline. I’ll be using Philippine Airlines for my direct flight from now on.
I flew business class with PAL. My seat has a hole and the comforter given to us had a smell on it. I was too tired to eat dinner so I decided to sleep. Breakfast not bad but they need to improve it.
Please don't get me wrong or anything but I don't understand why most, and I say most, Filipino airline passengers are always in such a rush to board and de-plane?
July 2014 was my last trip using PA. The service has been awful and not to the mention there were flight attendants who were rude. And to top it all, the airfare is very expensive to think it is the flagship of the Philippines.
Getting ready on December 08 for the first direct flight to Europe 🇪🇺 after more than 20 years, Air France 🇫🇷 flight AF 209 departs Manila at 9:50pm arrive at Paris Charles de Gaulle at 5:50am Central European Time on their Airbus A350-900 and I'm booked on Business Class, expecting the exquisite in-flight service and gastronomic delights Par Excellence with menus created by Michelin starred chefs and the finest wines selected by their Sommelier Xavier Thuizat on this 14hr direct nonstop flight and on the return trip to Manila. Bon Voyage.
Well you can see the age of the aircraft 😂. Old but majestic. Nothing beats the GE90-115B start up growl... but honestly as I much I love their 737-300s in the past. I also loved the 747-4F6 1st and this 777-36N(ER) 2nd.. both are impressive aircrafts. Still sexier than Airbus planes (no offense)
Air France 🇫🇷 which is scheduled to return to Manila on December 08 has already updated their cabins on all classes and I'm already booked on Business Class, expecting the exquisite in-flight service and gastronomic delights Par Excellence with menus created by Michelin starred chefs and the finest wines selected by their Sommelier Xavier Thuizat on this 14hr direct nonstop flight to Paris Charles de Gaulle and on the return flight to Manila. Bon Voyage.
what i did was used the bathroom, about 20mins before landing, there was a guy who had to poo while the airplane was landing! crazy, they got him out, and he actually smoked inside the bathroom! so i think he got arrested or something
neither will I, PAL, working in concert with Alaska Air, got me and my traveling companion for just shy of USD 5000.00 and ain't got the goddamn decency to reply back. okay PAL, small claims court is in your future...
you can not be serious when you write that the breakfast served which you ate was " sooooo good'... really ...powdered eggs reconstituted then freeze dried then re heated and served to you 10 hours later from the catering kitchen ..tasted soooo good as you wrote. How much does PA pay you ?
If I have a choice, I would never ride PAL! 2 yrs.ago, we are already in the boarding gate when they canceled our flight because of the typhoon. That was last week of October.
@@CoddiwomplingMiguel I agree with that safety. I don't mind if they canceled our flight earlier that day, because the typhoon was already in the vicinity of the area. And they did not provide hotel for us, but during covid, they offer hotels too, in their package.
By 2025 Philippine Airlines will use their new A350-1000s to SFO (I wish they add premium economy product to SFO, LAX, and soon SEA which will begin in October). I wish they also consider ordering the Boeing 777X (-9 atleast) too.
There is no better aircraft than the 777 to fly anywhere. Done the A350 and was not impressed. A330? Sounded like a Korean beer can. A380? Maybe but getting scrapped fast
Just returned on United from Manila to SFO. That was honestly the worst airline food I have ever had. Some things that needed to be heated up were just served cold. Snacks tasted stale. The meals were almost inedible. During one meal they ran out of the chicken option so there was no choice but an incredibly terrible tasting frittata thing that my wife thought was tofu it was so bad. Unbelievably horrible food from an apparently lazy and uncaring crew. The whole experience with United Airlines as a whole was just weird and unprofessional. They're overly trying to push this diverse/woke type climate and I'm thinking to myself that this isn't what I want on a 12 hour over the ocean flight. Never again. I now appreciate Philippine Airlines MUCH more.
Had a similar feeling from the crew on delta airlines, flying seoul to seattle. Food was shit, super bland, cabin crew felt like they were not there for you. Nothing beats east/south east asian airlines and their crew for Asia to North America travel.
United is better, PAL is terrible with cancelled flights especially that route SFO to MNL, I had a flight cancelled then they didn't even gave us vouchers to stay in a hotel, some hotel rejected PAL passengers because they said they had a bad reputation on that airline. Our flight resumed after three days that I have to go home and back to SFO airport. I wasted 3 days of my 12 days vacation because of cancelled flight!!

Wonderful video clip of Phillipines Airlines 777 take off out of San Fran, great to see the crew heading for the aircraft
Seeing crew leave when back to SF I was impressed the captain was a lady.
Hi coddingwompling Miguel: take for your video I missed to fly again PAL I want to visit again the phillippines; God bless

NO kidding, i did it once but i bought an upgraded seat, i cant do that seat that he is sitting on.

Isn't it that EVA AIR always park at the G gates of SFO since they're under the Star Alliance?
when I use EVA, we loaded at G gates, and unloaded at A gates

May God bless you more ❤
RP-C7777 was the same plane I took last year during my flight from Toronto to Manila
How was your flight? I’ve never seen this before, but this looks really cool.
You left SFO at 12:50am on 9/27 (Manila time 3:50pm 9/27). The flight took about 14 hours. You should have arrived at around 6am on 9/28, not 9/29!
Is there USB power in economy seat?
You may try po Cebu Pacific Air Airbus A330-900neo from Manila to Singapore!
No lunpia?
I'm actually at the san francisco international airport 🛫 waiting to get on Philippines airlines to manila right now 😅
How much air fare?
Im jealous
Wish I can go too
Im flying Pal in September from San Francisco to manila. Im hoping no delays since i have another flight going to Malaysia in the afternoon. 🙏🏼
I want to fly the PAL 777 so bad 😭
Did you see the cockroach?
Good Video no talking just good information
Question how much was the ticket
Any more videos on the Philippines would be nice
Good job 👍🏴
nice langga

Because they are crazy
I know right? para silang iiwanan ng plane. kulang na lang magtulakan sa pila😅
nakawitness nga ako ng nag away eh! Pagkalanding na pagkalanding ng eroplano eh nag unahan silang lumabas nagkasagutan
That airplane food is so sad. 😳
In business class, you can order pork Adobe, with pork bellies.
@@geoffreydy9739You can do that? How?
I wanna go home as well 😢
Go home😂
Great takeoff video
PAL planes are very cold. Bring a blanket
I beg to differ, my flight was uncomfortably hot
Hi😮🙏🏾✈️
why did it take 6 months to post a video???
if you fly Boeing...
it can just go... Boink Boink Boink..
hope the doors and landing gear doesn't get to Manila ahead of you folks..
Ganda ng plane pero natatakot ako sumakay baka magaya sa 9M-MRO at MRD.

Never again will I fly PAL as in PALPAK. lol.
what amazes me PAL charges premium fare but still cannot afford to buy new planes.. not like PAL inflight services are on par with other airlines
PAL will receive their initial order of 9 A350-1000 for North America - Europe & 18 A321 NEO for Asia & Australia starting 2025
@@joeynombres777I hope so.
How reliable is PAL, in the month of August 2024, they have canceled PAL104/105/ 4 times in one month! to be safe, fly another airline!
after movie title #3, ithought you went to the lav to check on the toilet papers.

I have to fly the cheapest airline. Last I checked, that was ZIPAIR
Sad to say, PAL's in-glight entertainment system is really outdated. One of the worst actually. They need to modernize the cabin .

A380 at Manila🤨
Business class seat looks sad. Looks more like Premium Economy
❤❤❤
The A380 of the Philippine Airlines / Cebu Pacific / Air Philippines was coming soon on MIA 3 & 1?
MIA 3 - Manila International Airports, 2025!
Flying over the wing is the safest place to be seated on a plane in case of a crash.
