    I’m planning to travel South East Asia for 6 months and this video is very helpful. I travalled Costa Rica as a broke backpacker but I want to save up more this time because I want to have more flexibility and to be able to help the local economy😌

    Planning on doing a gap year after college just to travel, but also traveling during college and the last year of high school. I just discovered your channel and am excited to see another young solo travel lady on YT! 😊

    Such a great video! So sad to hear that you had to cut your travels short. I think I'm going to be taking a travel gap year this year as I love to travel, where was your favourite place that you visited? x

    Thank you so much for the tips! Your hairband is soo cute! I didn't actually know that Work Away has a member fee.... something I'm looking into at the moment but I am worried about safety at staying at random people's houses... do you have any tips for that?

      Glad I could help, and thank you! I totally understand, I definitely would suggest choosing a workaway with 3+ reviews, one where you wouldn't be the only volunteer, speaking for former volunteers, and maybe starting with one in a city or otherwise not isolated place so that you can leave and have a backup if needed :)

    I live overseas and where I ive you can get malaria medicine for very cheap so some medication may be less expesnsive in the country you travel too.

    Hey loved the video but you didn't say anything about how much money was needed in general to travel various countries 5,000 8,000🙃?

    • @SerenaJayne
      @SerenaJayne  3 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      Totally depends on where you're going and how you like to travel! Would it be helpful if I made a more specific video on the topic?

    I loved your video and planning to do a gap year myself. I was thinking of getting travel insurance from global nomads but I dont have existing health insurance. Will that be a problem from getting travel insurance?
