She join many singing competition (not a high level but still a singing comp) before train with SM. Then, in 2004 if I'm not mistaken, she join sm at the age of 15.😊 ( This is what I know about her )

The random pause was for Tiffany Young. She is high school friends with Jessi. She has a solo career. Last year she was part of the Chicago musical cast in Korea.
Today is indeed their 15th anniversary. On top of putting out iconic music, they are variety show queens. Their episodes on both Running Man and Knowing Brothers are legendary. They also have a new variety show going where they jump into different variety show formats.
This song feels very classic SNSD to me. I think other fans would feel nostalgic about it too.
I just love the fact that even though the Girls' Generation members and their fans are already doing their own thing, they have always and they will always come back as one.

it's lucky for you because you only know them recently. but their fans, who's even an idol trainees, idols it-selves, and former idols like me, who known them since 2007, was so emotional, and can't stop our tears for falling, by seeing them, performing once again, as whole group, after for such a long time. they were the reason, why we start dreaming. and even failure like me, never stop dreaming, because they were our inspiration. they were 1 and 1st among the 4 foundation on KPOP.

You don't have to have any prior knowledge to enjoy the catchiness and positive vibe of the song, the beauty of the girls or their obvious competence in singing and dancing. But still this video is full of references that you need a bit of a background to get. The song and MV sends back to some of the previous eras of SNSD as a group but it also shows where each of them is currently as an individual. 4 of them are very prominent actresses with their acting work being all over the news even as they are promoting as singers right now. Taeyeon is shown as a diva singer she is, Hyo as a DJ. Sunny is shown as celebrity as she's doing a lot of work on TV. You can see Tiffany on the plane as she's living and working between SK and USA lately and so on. This is a special release not meant to compete with the trendy groups of today. For all the fans who've been with the group for 10-15 years and patiently waited for last 5, this release is new but it also feels like home and it's beautiful that way.

I only got into Girls Generation this year and I'm still in the process of going through their albums. So I haven't really experienced the five year gap since the last group release like longtime fans have. But it still feels so nice to be able to listen to a new song from Girls Generation and not "just" one of the member's solo projects (though those are amazing too). And yes, the last comeback from them as a full group was exactly five years ago, for their 10th anniversary. It's actually kind of amazing this even came together, considering that Tiffany, Sooyoung and Seohyun left SM Entertainment in 2017.
A group of soloists, musical artists, actresses, djs, hosts, businesswomen, endorsers, ambasadresses, chefs, authors, etc. to have all these successful individuals in one group is beyond incredible. and that's on nation's girl group- GIRLS' GENERATION❤

I really liked the narrative of the MV, at the beginning all the girls do their solo activities Taeyeon is a singer, Hyeyeon is a DJ, Yoona is an actress, Tiffany flies between Korea and the United States, and then in the bridge they become one again.
The bridge also plays the melody from their debut song “Into The New World”. Girls asked the composer to insert something from their debut song into Forever 1😭
AND see DG all of them are between 28 and 33 now they 're all very mature but they got that calssy and elegant style they're very charismatic and they don't need to be suggestive or trash to be highly popular . they're not a cute group anymore they're just evolve like all girls evolve . but some seem to want be more provocative to said than now girls power etc.... but SNSD members are all or almost CEO of they're own brand they're all very accomplish woman and they're very respected . i see the press conférence they made last night and they said than they know than the kpop industry as change a lot the past 4 years and even if they aknwoledge the fact than they have to live with they're time they're SNSD they make the rules they make the trend for a decade so they will be them . that why they wrote some songs more "dark" but they want to keep they're elegant concept .

i struggle to chose a bias in large group but it's between YOONA and SOOYOUNG. SOOYOUNG is the savage member and the trouble maker in a group i love her personnality and she's GORGEOUS AF
I've been with them for 12 years now and as soon as the MV dropped I clicked on it and immediately got goosebumps as soon as the song started and I was practically shivering throughout the video.
Idk how to explain it but it kinda feels like a part of me that was left empty for so long was immediately filled up. I practically grew up with this group and spent most of my childhood watching their performances and listening to their songs whenever and wherever, seeing them back now just makes me so happy and proud.
Oh and fun fact the line near the end that says "I will love you again in my next life" is a homage to what their fans (SONEs) have said to them all these years which goes
"If you are still Girls' Generation in the next life, then I will still be your SONE."

SNSD and SHINee are my favorite SM groups and their bond is so special, I was so excited when they came together and it's amazing that we have such a beautiful comeback for their 15th anniversary.

I know you don't really react to older music, but Soshi's catalogue is vast. There's something there for everyone, so it'd be a shame to miss out!
That 'something early 2000's with the music' could very likely be THEM. They debuted in 2007 and were all over the radio. You likely did hear their music and just did not know it back then.
Obviously there were groups before Girls Generation (because they are classified as a Second-Gen group) but they made some already-existing really cool vibe-y things blow up even bigger. By picking vibe-y stuff that was already out (but made by smaller lesser-known companies), SM capitalized on everything they could reach for.
To a certain extent, these ladies themselves were musical trend-setters right out the gate. LOADS of music was copied after their vibe (which is totally fair since they copied first...) and K-Pop would not be the way we know it now if not for all of that happening. Iconic.
There is a ton of Girls Generation's own throwback stuff in this MV, including references to some of their most iconic songs and choreo. So of course it reminds you of things from fifteen years ago. :)

Girls' Generation was active at a time when K-pop was still in its regional scope. So a lot of people probably don't know. Girls' Generation is the second generation, but there is no one who has surpassed them so far. You can understand why just by looking at it, right?

Also another song from forever 1 album “villain” is written by Tiffany and Sooyoung(the blond girl in the paparazzi scene). “Villain” has a complete different vibe from forever 1. As a SNSD hard stan since 2008, I can share with you, that this song is not to show people how good their choreo is, how great their vocal and rapping is. Not even wow how pretty they are.
They have proven themselves over the past 15 years.
They are the mother of all Kpop girl groups. Kpop development wouldn't be what it is today if not for them paving the way.
What is there that they need to show?
This is a birthday song, a celebration of their love for each other and their fans. That is all about it.
And the true fans understand and love it so much.
