The fun part is figuring out how to make parts work together and accomplishing the task. The ARP bolts are some of the best you can buy, I used them on my alum cyl. heads on my Chevelles 541cu in big block motor. Nice video Willy👍
The new adapter looks great. Everyone needs a long term project to work on. And, it's nice to be able to step away from it every now and then. You can always return to it later. There's no better feeling than completing something that's taken a lot of time and work to do. I believe long term projects are a part of good mental health! (I need all the help I can get!)
Yes this will be a long term project. My blue 68 bug took 2 yrs to build and it’s still needs love. My mental health also needs some help. Sometimes I just don’t know where to begin..
Nothing like grabbing a hot bolt! Been there done that 😂 great upgrade, perseverance and persistence for sure. You inspired me to quit procrastinating and change the belt on the Can-am.. need to get the special clutch tool first but can’t find one with the right threads 😢looking forward to the next update!
I feel like I’m at the hardest part of this build. For the last 3weeks I’ve been trying get correct belt alignment and lock in the motor mounts and it’s fight me everyday. I have it so close but it’s still not correct. Now I pretty much have to start over. Unfortunately the work I have done so far is fully welded. Now I’m cutting it loose for the 4th time. I want everything so perfect. It would probably be fine now but would most likely burn belts. I’ll get it though, I’m pretty sure I figured it out this time. When I get these clutches and motor mounts all done I think I’ll take a break from the Baja project.
This is way outta my knowledge of operations but with the wisdom and courage i now know the difference lol whatever you did its fresh and diy willy style 💪🏼💯🔥🔥🔥🔥
@DIYWilly I had the ecotec in my Saturn vue it needed a timing chain bad ended up junking it for 300 bucks if I was into fixing stuff like I am now I would've kept it

I read a lot about other bolts failing so can’t loose with ARP!

This is only the beginning. Aligning everything is the next challenge… Then I have to make the 2.2 engine start and run from the RZR gas tank. 🤔🤯

Once I get this one started, I’ll be doing the timing chains also.
