@@almaburns6562 might suggest slow cooking the rings at low heat about 3mins (flip them as well to do it evenly) before you insert the fillings. Iirc onions start to caramelise at around the 8 min mark under low heat. Guy that made the video didn't do it partly because we're asian and we can eat onions and garlics raw without much issues.

If you ever get pepper oil in your eyes, run strands of hair across your eyeball. If your hair isn't long enough, borrow someone elses. The hair absorbs the oil and it doesn't hurt your eyeball.

tried making it today. I used red onion for sides and put the egg mixed ingredients inside. I also used a green onion for color with a 1/2 orange bell pepper. Used coconut oil to fry in. cooked perfectly through. very tasty. thanks for making instruction video !!!
I liked the idea, but since i do low carb and love Italian taste, I'm going to modify it as follows: the filling is going to be onion, mushrooms, carrot, tomato, garlic, mozzarella cheese, eggs, Italian seasoning, fresh basil, maybe also some yogurt or mayo The thickening is going to be with Xanthan gum and almond flour
I would use pretty much those ingredients too (or whatever is in the fridge), but I would not use heated vegetable oil like in the video. That ruins the taste and heated oil is pretty bad health-wise too. Butter or ghee for frying.
