Always assumed for reason you were Russian or something mad so was surprised to hear you're a fellow Brit, honestly thank you for these vids dude always gave me such an insight as a kid into Ryans style and helped me become my own musician by inspiring and teaching me. I just finished a tool bass medely and all I'm struggling with is making it sound good from a cell phone. It's not quite loud enough and you can't pick up my bass too well while playing against the music. Any tips?

Zachary I believe they make a rock bass version of the fortress using different kinds of wood. The Warwick Thumb and corvette bass guitars can produce similar tones too.

Tool are the only band I know of where the bass and guitar can be doing two totally different things, and it’s still hard to tell which is which.

The body is a 3 piece maple. The neck and finger board are made from Wenge.
