15:46 something I’d like to point out as well. The way Tom is talking about Oswald’s family having a connection to Fazbear is eerily similar to Abby in the Fnaf movie. She was talking to the kids before she even knew about the animatronics.
Scott making the Bite Scene: "Yup..make them between 56"-59"..perfect. thats the height for the age of these kids that i have planned for the future. Im totally not going to make up lore as it goes."
I mean, he didn't have to, he just had to make kids ay kid height? It isn't that deep from a game desgin perspective to say, hey, how tall are kids in relation to a table.

I wish they still did mercy with the game theory logo on it. I don't really care for the boho tapestry pattern they put on the inside of the jackets. Or that the t-shirts are all really basic “modern” designs. What happened to my neon greens? They really did peak with the alien release, everything after that has kinda disappointed me as a theorist fan, not a fnaf/fashion fan
I also wonder why "Springtrap" didn't just take out Oswald's father once he got his hands on him? It's just weird to me that he's willing to unalive children but keep this grown father tied up.
Oswald even stated in the game a couple of times that his dad had an affinity for fixing tech and just tech in general, which is why Oswald was able to fix the arcades (his dad taught him tech related things.)
Interesting.... So basically it's possible that the first saga is about the Afton family and their victims. And the second saga is about the bullies and William avenging his son from beyond the grave.
I thought the book we get with notes tells us that fazbear also would dump their trash at the mill. That’s how we get the bonny guitar strings, it doesn’t come from the mill. Not sure how oswalds dad would work with fazbear parts
i feel it's worth mentioning that another year that matches the calendar is 2035, the same year security breach takes place in. (there's a photo that has 2035 written on it and the calendars in the security offices match that year as well.) this would make oswald a year or two younger than gregory and more importantly cassie, and if we're linking all the bullies together in the story then it being 2035 feels pretty intentional imo.
19:41 I have a prediction that will likely be completely wrong, I believe the Chicka bully won’t just be another person working on the tech but might actually be trying to distance himself from fazbear entertainment as much as he can until the ghosts of his past mistake come back to BITE(haha) him.
14:17 That's assuming the in-game representation is accurate, which I highly doubt it is. If that were the case, the crying child would be less than 30 inches tall, making him about 2 years old.
Could it be possible if the crying child would be 3-4? It's quite possible he would just be short. But now that I think about this, what about the bullies? Could they be older or younger? Oh no. I'm gonna think about this all night now aren't I?
with Jeff's computer looking like it's running Windows 95, he might be doing a thing that I've seen some of elsewhere IRL: running a newer version of Windows, and modding it to look and feel like 95 so you get what you're used to but with all the improvements from newer versions in regards to hardware utilization etc
he could also be running XP from the look of the blue on the window top and have the silver toolbar option i know i did a similar set up with one of my computers
Something else I noticed at 12:46 was that on the exact same page that Tom got the 'couple of years' from, it also says that he was, and I quote, 'strange, nervous maybe. He was quiet for a few seconds.' This could mean that something resurfaced in his memory, something that can cause extreme guilt. Something... like the bite of 83 Edit: I know I accidentally copied kino9643's comment and I apologise in advance for anyone who notices it
oh wow that even solidifies this theory even more, thanks for pointing it out! i was only focused on the highlighted parts, definitely suspicious of the dad to be nervous when asked abt it 🤔
Although interests and fears can be passed down it's not prophetic, he wouldn't know about Freddie's without seeing it but he could have a unprompted fear or interest in animatronics in general. However it is fnaf so I guess it could work like in their perspective
One of the endings where Oswald saves his dad but get pulled him and trapped himself by springtrap could support this theory because his dad instead of saving him freaks out and just sits there in fear as his son gets pulled in, it’s something u couldn’t imagine a parent just doing unless it could be something traumatic, something out of his nightmares. Even when Oswald watched his dad get pulled in he went in and tried to save him so it is strange his father didn’t do the same for him in that ending
FNAF 1: Bite of 87? Interesting lore. FNAF 2: Bite of 83? So a retcon? FNAF 3: Everything is burnt in the future? And a happy ending for the souls? FNAF 4: WAS THAT THE BITE OF 87? Security Breach: Is this a Reboot? Help wanted 2: WHAT IS THIS?! Into the Pit: A full reboot based the books? I don't know anymore.
I feel like in later entries, we will be introduced to the Chica mask wearing character from FNAF 4, we already know or have been introduced to the kids who wore the Foxy, Bonnie, and Freddy mask wearers
@@lonelyguy5799 is it confirmed it's him though? i also feel like that scene is weird. she said she was helping her grandpa so i thought it was his, but then i think it says uncle? i might have to look more into that
What about when Ozwald is with Chip and that other dude? They talk about specific movies. Ozwald refers to them as "Old" meanwhile, Chip and the other guy tell him they just came out. (I'm at 9:09)
To be fair with the calendar bit, while the weekEND could signify the week coming to a close it could also just signify to start and finish or the “ends” of a week
That argument could only be made if it was called “weekends”, implying more than one end. It’s THE weekend. Implying only one continuous end of the week.
Gotta point out (5:50) that the placement of arms (the pose of the kid) on the Freddy bully seems to resemble likewise to Oswald’s dad, coincidental arm placement? I think not!
Imagine if a couple of years down the line Chica bully is added into the mix and unlike the others he never tried to attone for his sins. Would be a good excuse for Scott to give him a tragic and ironic death like Afton's.
The date is not Thursday 16 2012,because Oswald states when he goes back into the past at Freddie’s "there’s a movie about this.” The flag movie didn’t com out until October 2023 which means this most likely means this game takes place in the future.2029 Thursday 16 is when the game takes place
Oswald is 10, and in the book he asks his dad how old he was in 1985, his dad says he was a couple years older than Oswald (he was 12 in 1985), so... If Into the Pit takes place in 2029, that would make Oswald's dad 56 (a bit weird since he looks younger in the game)
I like the idea that fnaf is giving what happened to the bullies after the incident as a redemption Arc for them to try forgiving themselves in the past and move on to be better in the future
It’s awfully convenient that Foxy is absent in this game, because you’d think he would be around, but with the idea the bullies are coming back, and that Michael was the one who wore the Foxy mask, this game is showing us that Foxy, who’s a reflection of Michael, is irrelevant.
I'm going to say that I think it might be a bit of a stretch to say that Oswald's dad worked on animatronic parts. I've never known of a manufacturing plant being referred to as a "mill". What I actually thought was more likely, given the rectangular shape of the mill, is that it is what the building in Pizza Simulator eventually became. That would also explain why parts and the trash mascots would be present there.
As a fellow brit, i used to think "weekends" was like "bookends", bordering the week on each side. But i haven't seen a sun-sat calendar since i was a child so i must've fallen out of fashion over here. Also, maybe it's just my age but i immediately recognized the Nokia phone because EVERYONE had that exact phone back in the day.
8:30 ruin might take place before 9/11? 9:40 nevermind. But Oswald might have witnessed it 11:30 nevermind. Oswald's dad witnessed 9/11 15:00 all we have left is Chica Bro
If Oswald's dad is 12~ in 1983 and the rest of the bullies are the same age due to size, then Mike would be at most *17* in FNAF 2 (1987) as *maybe* Fritz Smith, then *23* in FNAF 1... the smelly *has* to be from tampering, not being scooped.
17:25 Nope about the mill. I distinctly remember some text or dialogue that indicated that Freddie's/The Pizza Place had been using the Mill to dispose of their garbage, dumping it in with the Mill's to save costs.
What’s interesting, is that when Springtrap captures Oswald’s dad, he just has him tied up. Of those 5 nights his dad was unconscious, you’d think he would do something to him, but didn’t. My bet, is that the agony within the Springbonnie suit recognizes Oswald’s dad. There’s even a voiceline that Springbonnie says, “I’ll make you suffer the way I did”. This could be a reflection of William telling the Freddy Bully that he’s gonna take Ava his son, like what how Oswald’s dad unintentionally killed his son Crying Child? 🤔🤷 Let me know what you think. 😀👍 Edit: We only have the bully that wears the Chica mask, and if we think about it, that character is the only one that doesn’t talk. The Freddy bully talks to Crying Child when we see him laughing at CC in the third night mini game, and the Bonnie Bully talks to Michael. Perhaps the reason why we don’t see Foxy in FNAF into the Pit, is because it’s telling us it’s not about him anymore. After all, he did wear the Foxy Mask. 🤔
I always hated the calendar starting with Sunday in the US until I thought of this… what goes on either side of a shelf with books? BOOKENDS!! Just like the weekend, keeps the weekdays together.
Crazy thought. What if the mill is the location from pizza simulator. You do get the animatronics from a dumpster outside. (At least I think) It would also make sense as to how it burns down in the end if it was originally a steel mill
I think INTO THE PIT was meant to be a celebration game, and still is. Like Scott said in the interview, it was meant to be a lil novelty game that MegaCatStudio just took and went "lemme cook" and Scott went "absolutely. Keep cooking." 😂 A fun celebratory game full of references, easter eggs and content, and nothing more. A raise of a wine glass, a toast, for 10 years of this goofy supernatural robot bear game and honestly, that's absolutely amazing.
But I do feel that Oswald’s dad does have some connection. I don’t believe the books canon but I think this is kinda what happened to Freddy bro after the bite of 83. Maybe like a parallel but ya I think it’s a good connection
Idk bro, when Mega Cat said Scott had to intervene multiple times to do lore revisions and agree/disagree on what they could/couldn't do to not "miss with the continuity" tells me that game absolutely means a lot for the overall game's lore and not just a novelty N64 cartridge game as it first started
there's something you missed when trying to find out when the game is set, one of the kids at Oswald's school is referred to as a "vtuber fan" and (if i remember correctly) references Gawr Gura who debuted in 2020! so the game couldn't be set in 2018
gura is not really the very first vtuber that sprung up in popularity both western and in japan though, Kizuna AI was the one who popularized the idea, debuting in 2016.
@@ventikoi yeah but that's not the main take away. If the game does reference Gawr Gura, the game isn't set in 2018 but at the very least would be set in 2020. Edit: Forgot to mention that since the game takes place in Aug 16th on a Thursday, the earliest this could take place would be 2029 if a Gawr Gura reference was indeed made.
I hate how chica was seemingly forgotten again. One of her sayings is literally “ I was the first. I have seen it all “ how can the film just completely forget that. Why does Scott want to erase this! I think it’d make a good story or even game! Where’s chicas family? How did they end up? Maybe a sad tale or maybe even madness from grief.
My theory? Oswald is his own dad, in one of the endings Oswald just leaves the pizzeria, all alone Oswald leaves trying to forget his past, somehow succeeding possibly with the help of someone already in the game. In the end it's a infinite loop
That might explain why he was drawing animatronics at the start of the game since he probably remembered the animatronics but nothing about them He might of been to jeffs pizza since he remembered going to the same place in the 80s
I wonder if Michael keep in touch with his friends after the bite incident, maybe, Oswald's dad helped him with bringing all of animatronics back in Pizzaria Simulator. Now is missing the one with Chica's mask.
2-3 years is a couple years. 3-4 years is a few years. 4-5 years is a handful of years. More than 5 years is either a lot or a bunch depending on context.
No, the steel mill was not making parts for Fazbear Entertainment, Jeff and Freddy’s were just throwing stuff out at the Mill instead of using their own dumpster We are told this explicitly in the game
Freddy's closed down long before the mill shut down. From what I remember it's pretty clear that the mill shut down in the last like year or so, hence Oz's dad losing his job there. Freddy's has been shut down long enough that Oz doesn't even know who they are. Since it's shut down Jeff starts dumping his trash there bc it's convenient but since the mill would've been open I seriously I doubt the Freddy's could have been doing the same. So the animatronic parts being there would way more likely be because they were built there! Obviously these are all just theories though, and you can believe what you want!
I have a mini theory based on this theory. This may be a stretch, but I just wanna put it out there. What if Springtrap targeting Oswald and his dad was an attempt at revenge? Hear me out. Maybe Oswald looks like his dad did when he was a kid. Because of this, Springtrap recognizes him as having the face of one of Michael's friends, and one of the boys that got Crying Child bit. This could explain why he targets Oswald and beckons *him* of all kids to come see the murders he'd commit. And he target's Oswald's dad either because he realizes that *he* was actually one of the bullies and not Oswald. Or he takes Oswald's dad just to make him suffer. Cause I've been pondering Springtrap's motives for switching places with Oswald's dad instead of just killing them. It being a form of revenge could explain the motives to prolong the entire thing, why he keeps the dad tied up for who knows how long. Again, I don't know how good this theory is. No doubt there's holes. But I just wanted to get these thoughts out there to see if maybe someone with more knowledge of the could fill in the gaps, or just debunk this entirely. But yeah, I just thought this was an interesting idea. Thoughts?
The bullies didn't forget about the bite of 83 makes me wonder, if they meet Michael agine would they just be Terrified or would they start sharing and chatting about their miserable lives as an old group of friends?
I'm 3 minutes into the video, and when you mentioned the ripple effect and Cassie's dad, whom we know is Bonnie bro and then you mention the Freddy mask in the attic of Oswald's house, it clicked. Chills. Literal chills went through my whole body. You're doing amazing Tom, I can already see Matt smiling down on you from his house though the camera in the broom closet lol
Oswalds dad manifested himself into the fnaf universe bullied a child then went back inside the book to have a son so basically oswalds dad is Gwenpool from marvel now that’s a cross-over
14:40 so with their height difference, i could say that: -in 1983, micheal & bonnie bro can be 13-14, chica bro & freddy bro/oswald dad cab be 11-12 -in 1985, micheal & bonnie bro can be 15-16, chica bro & freddy bro/oswald dad can be 13-14
3:50 I only JUST got to this point in the video but the mask could LITERALLY just be a reference to fnaf 2 were we use a Freddy mask to protect us from the animatronics (as evidenced by the mask being a actual mask in help wanted) But I’m curious about the “what am I” (unplanned) ending. Can you make a video on that pls?
So, since we now know that Michael was likely born in 1971 or 1972, I wonder how old Crying Child and Elizabeth are, as well as when William and his Wife were born.
8:23 Counterpoint we're correct with sunday and Saturday being on the ends because bookends. u don't put 2 together on one side, u put them surrounding the books
Imagine we get a game about chica bro and their potential child, then afterwards we get an avengers style game moment with all the kids of the bully bros teaming up for some threat.
Be honest you just made this so you could indulge in making a sitcom opening disguised as a merchandise ad. 😊 I feel you on the calendar. Growing up I could never wrap my head around why we started on a Sunday when all the important stuff like school and work starts on a Monday.
Think of A bookENDS, they Go on Both sides Of a Set of Books, everything Is sandwiched In between. Much like How the weekEND sandwiches The days Of the Week.
The work week starts on Monday because Christianity decided Sunday was the 7th day, i.e. the "Day of Rest". However, I was raised Jewish and our Sabbath day was Saturday, the 7th day.
16:27 That Wasn’t A Malfunction? The Base Animation For Fredbear Was Opening And Closing His Mouth. If It Was A Springlock Failure, He Would Just Flop On The Stage, Being Back Into Suit Mode
You are right, but still it SHOULD have been made safer, like a lot of machines that immediately shut down if they find resistance to their movements. Fazbear's could have never predicted a kid would get shoved in an animatronic mouth, but I imagine that a person filled with the guilt of killing an innocent child would become obsessed with making those robots as safe as possible. EDIT: Also, Fredbear's mouth stopped moving after crashing the skull, which probably made it worse. And that probably wasn't supposed to happen.
Something i would like to present for speculation: Why was baby kicked out of ennerd? We know she's separate in pizzaria simulator, and we get some kind of conversation in the codes. But why did that actually happen?
So one question, when defeating Springbonnie/Springtrap in the game, Oswald wakes his dad up. His dad then says "What the heck is that thing?" if he was the Freddy bro, wouldn't he have recognized Springbonnie from when he helped shove Michael's brother into Fredbear's mouth in 1983?
Ozwald’s dad being freddy bro, cassie’s dad being bonnie bro, and michael being foxy bro

I think it's because he wanted to lure Oswald
Oswald even stated in the game a couple of times that his dad had an affinity for fixing tech and just tech in general, which is why Oswald was able to fix the arcades (his dad taught him tech related things.)
Interesting.... So basically it's possible that the first saga is about the Afton family and their victims. And the second saga is about the bullies and William avenging his son from beyond the grave.

The Afton saga is the incident
The Mimic Saga are the ripples
I think that makes sense?
16:37 "he kept what kind of mill vague" Don't Chip and Mike mention "the new steel mill" during the first ballpit travel of the game?

@@ephraimboateng5239 he dumped it at the mill so he doesn't have to pay to get his own dumsters

Oswalds dad wouldve been too old for Gregory to be born and there's nothing about a Pizzaplex opening in the game

I like that thoery!! could also be why he's last to be showen to us
Maybe even hides the mask they used that fateful day and will get nervous at the mere mention of anyone in the cast.
14:17 That's assuming the in-game representation is accurate, which I highly doubt it is. If that were the case, the crying child would be less than 30 inches tall, making him about 2 years old.
hes just a lil guy
Could it be possible if the crying child would be 3-4? It's quite possible he would just be short. But now that I think about this, what about the bullies? Could they be older or younger? Oh no. I'm gonna think about this all night now aren't I?
perhaps all the emotional stress and probably neglect caused by william stunted his growth
How did you take the Bite of '83 and make it darker?
Most 3 years old are around that height, and Charlie was 3 when she was killed as well
And if you think about it, that would make sense of why springtrap took Oswald's dad. Because he was a part of CC's death.
with Jeff's computer looking like it's running Windows 95, he might be doing a thing that I've seen some of elsewhere IRL: running a newer version of Windows, and modding it to look and feel like 95 so you get what you're used to but with all the improvements from newer versions in regards to hardware utilization etc
he could also be running XP from the look of the blue on the window top and have the silver toolbar option i know i did a similar set up with one of my computers
Something... like the bite of 83

17:25 Nope about the mill. I distinctly remember some text or dialogue that indicated that Freddie's/The Pizza Place had been using the Mill to dispose of their garbage, dumping it in with the Mill's to save costs.
Right, there was the section where you had to dump the trash at the mill because Jeff never bought a dumpster
Crazy he missed that Jeff definitely says he throws the old stuff from the pizzeria in the mill
Let me know what you think. 😀👍
Edit: We only have the bully that wears the Chica mask, and if we think about it, that character is the only one that doesn’t talk.

I think INTO THE PIT was meant to be a celebration game, and still is. Like Scott said in the interview, it was meant to be a lil novelty game that MegaCatStudio just took and went "lemme cook" and Scott went "absolutely. Keep cooking." 😂
A fun celebratory game full of references, easter eggs and content, and nothing more.
Honestly true this whole game is just full of fun references not much else to it

Idk bro, when Mega Cat said Scott had to intervene multiple times to do lore revisions and agree/disagree on what they could/couldn't do to not "miss with the continuity" tells me that game absolutely means a lot for the overall game's lore and not just a novelty N64 cartridge game as it first started

there's something you missed when trying to find out when the game is set, one of the kids at Oswald's school is referred to as a "vtuber fan" and (if i remember correctly) references Gawr Gura who debuted in 2020! so the game couldn't be set in 2018
Eh, a 2-year difference. Doesn't really change much.
gura is not really the very first vtuber that sprung up in popularity both western and in japan though, Kizuna AI was the one who popularized the idea, debuting in 2016.
@@ventikoi yeah but that's not the main take away. If the game does reference Gawr Gura, the game isn't set in 2018 but at the very least would be set in 2020.

It just bothers me that he says that the steel mill is never referred to as such it absolutely isn't it is referred to as a steel mill
Thoughts?
