      When will it US world leaders? A foreign power generating money for weapons makers on a forever war. Going after the next and the next and the next? Leaders that drone attack an entire family with 8 kids loading barrels of WATER into their car... Biden. Leaders who imprison grandmas without charges, court dates, bail, or permitted a lawyer? US leaders who lock up someone bc they voted for the other guy? When will it be the US being used for profit as another nation claims morel superiority and picks the last remaining scraps off the bone?? My children or grandchildren that will pay for this GWOT neverending profit machine??

    When I was a young infantry soldier, I used to say that there's nothing special about special forces. One is a razor sharp scalpel and the other is a blunt force sledge hammer. I see the true purpose of a scalpel now and the surgical implementation of these troopers. Don't get me wrong, nothing wrong with a sledge hammer either.

      SF and delta are very different. SF is special in many ways starting with minimum standards for joining, gt scroe, pt score, time in service, good behavior, ability to hold a ts clearance, volunteer for dangerous training and missions, special mission that only they do and so on But to support what you're saying; I worked in Baghdad in 04 with many different units and the men in regular infantry were just as brave and game as the D-boys.

      Don't get me wrong, I also enjoy my retirement nowadays and fishing on the lake. I'm just missing some pieces of myself and I wonder what I could have done differently. The "if I could of, should of would of's" always gets me, but not so much anymore. Still, the best job I ever had.

The support and the guys that were doing other detail to help and assist with the capture , like you are the guys I wanna hear from. I like hero’s that aren’t talked about. The guys in every single day operation in that fucked up war. I wish I was a little older sometimes because I wanted to be in this time frame of war specifically. 2000-2015 my heart goes out to all the veterans that served in any time. But the guys, kids, grown men, that give up everything for my freedom will always be hero’s in my eyes.

    I worked with the Delta Troop, A sqdn I think, in Tikrit when I was there in late 03-04 for almost 4 months. I was in Civil Affairs and they took me on several missions using me to get access emplacement or an excuse to snoop around different villages to shake the trees so to speak in the Ad Dwar area. I was invited to the team house a few times and ate dinner with them once or twice. They were some pretty cool guys, laid back and I remember on guy playing some Scooby Doo video game on the big tv. I helped get them materials for their team house and a generator. Fun times, wasn’t allowed to take pictures but I remember those days.

    • @FMD023
      @FMD023 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      The 4iD unit was my unit that “catch” saddam. In reality my unit pulled outer security and delta actually allowed my unit to select which house to search. I was not there during the capture but after doing my first tour In 06, I transferred over to that unit. A 4-42 FA 4ID. Had another senior NcOs who was actually on the ground then. My unit did take credit for it because at my e5 promotion board that was one of the questions about what significant role this our unit take part of. I heard Tom’s interview a year ago and that’s what stood out to me. First thing he did and remembered was saying the support unit 4iD that was on the ground with him. When I heard that from him I was impressed. I always thought it was the army green berets that got him and handed saddam over to my unit to escort. Once he told his side everything made sense. Just the fact that his group allowed my unit to actually part take on this mission other than pull outer security speaks volume. 10 times out to 10 usually missions like that special operations would not even consider having conventional forces do that. Tom is reachable as well. I reached out to him on IG because his story resonated with mine in the part where we tried to take our owns lives. And some other stuff I’m not gonna get into but Definitely my favorite operator I love hearing speak about his past experience.

    I was visiting a friend on Fort Hood not long after a large part of 4th ID had returned from Iraq. I spoke to a few soldiers near the 4th ID Memorial and a few claimed to have been present when Saddam was captured. They told a story of an E4 being spit on by Saddam immediately after being pulled from underground and the E4 had punched Saddam for it. They also claimed he was there in the group but would not identify him to me. In the 4th ID museum they had a small metal lockbox that came out of the hole with Saddam. I’ve never found any other evidence of their story but I take them at their word. It was an Honor just to visit with them at their Memorial. An E7 had asked me not to approach the Memorial while soldiers were there but after he learned I was a Desert Storm Veteran he walked me up to the group and introduced me. If anyone knows of any of this story please reply.

    Person I know who was a former operator said he once escorted saddam in the US before he was an enemy said when they got into a traffic jam, Saddam said "they all stopped for me?" Another time, some foreign leader he was escorting got bit by a squirrel, and he then had to stop his people from trying to kill the squirrel, explaining to them "they are protected", and said the squirrel almost caused an international incident.

For those involved with the capture of Saddam Heusein. I wonder if any operators there have questions or concerns about their campaign having been founded upon a sea of lies. Ultimately they were bent over by their own government.

      Uh No. There is a reason why they try out for delta selection. They don’t think of shit like that. They are a full on assault unit. That’s what they do is assault. fYI my old unit was the unit that took credit for saddam. My unit pulled outer security for them while they got saddam out of that spider hole. It’s just another day for them. After they caught him, they handed saddam over to my one unit to escort and took credit for. Those delta guys didn’t take credit for it.

Don't they know the truth about 9/11 and how building 7 fell on its own footprint like a controlled demolition? Do they know how many witnesses were silenced and killed who went against the official narrative against 9/11? Do they know about Alan Sabrosky who said that 9/11 was a Israeli Mossad operation because he knows how they operate? And that the CIA was DEFINITELY involved? How does Shawn and these Delta guys don't know this? Are they just willfully blind?
      The SAME neocons who lied to us about 9/11 and got us into endless wars in Iraq and Afghanistan are the same liars who lied about COVID origins, and the same liars who are lying about my former homeland of Ukraine and the war going on there! I was there! The poor people of Ukraine and soldiers are suffering and being used as meat grinders for the New World Order, but it's the politicians up top and the bankers that love to continue this war because it helps them fulfill their objectives of causing World War 3.

And yes, I know they were specifically saying they might have nukes, but truthfully we will never know. The desert is a big place, you could bury that shit anywhere and leave it preserved for decades. If they had any they either left the country or were buried.
