Shawn - I recently discovered your channel and have been intrigued by the content. As someone who served with no combat exposure I appreciate what is being shared. I can't begin to understand the challenges or crap you and your guests have been through. One thing I do know is that integrity and character is always something that has been engrained into me. I am not so naïve to believe that all those that have served have those traits. I also believe there isn't a politician out there that gives a shit about anyone but their selves. The only thing that bothers me about your podcast is people defending Trump. The guy probably did some good things for the US with regards to the economy, but as far as being a good leader, I don't think so. It's just my opinion. He has screwed so many honest people over that he doesn't deserve to be defended. If you politics out of the equation, he'd be toast. I am also not so naïve to believe our country wasn't screwed up before Trump. I think your content is great and would like to continue to see what's next. Man, just listening to you guys brings back so many memories I forgot about. Man, you guys are true legends man. I always loved hearing stories about JSOC. All legendary units. Most of all I loved hearing stories about CAG and that other black ops unit "Tertia Optio" If you know what I mean. We would provide security for 5th Special Forces Group sometimes. I have a lot of love for those ODA guys. They were right down the block from my unit in the 101st. Love this channel. Love hearing all these insane stories. I wanted to go to selection and go that route. I think most of us grunts dreamed of becoming operators lol. Ehhh... I love the guys I served with and always, all my battles we lost. They were always among the best of us and we truly were a Band of Brothers. Keep pumping these out. This is definitely one of my favorite channel and I just happened across you recently. I know I sounds like straight cheddar, but it is an honor listening to your guys stories. It gives me a deeper look and insight into how shit went down, not only in the special forces community, but at the highest levels of government. Sometimes I felt like we were just fighting to put more money I. Haliburton and KBR's pockets. Losing good men over bullshit that did not need to happen. Still running op's while doing left seat right seat to pull the Fook out and losing guys then. It just fooking infuriated me and still tears me up when I think about some of the guy's we lost while still running when we should have been shutting it down. Some of the best if times and some of the worst. I used to say jokingly, that Post Traumatic Stress is the moment you realize you will never be that bad ass again lol. Shit is real though. I fill a lot of my time giving back now and helping others getting out and different veteran run non-profits. It really helps me more than anything. If any of you guys are ever up in Northern Jersey and would like to speak to our brothers and sisters up on the PTSD ward in Lyons VA Campus, hit me up. They would love to hear some of your guys stories and I can easily get you in to talk and other places as well. If you got to the end of this story I now just wrote lol. We knew that way back then. We knew that taking out Saddam would destabilize the region. Blame the Bushes on this one, George the Second was an idiot that thought he knew international affairs because his daddy was ex-CIA and POTUS. Iraq had nothing to do with Osama, pivoting from the Afghanistan mission was the worst decision. We knew that Osama was in Pakistan, problem was that Pakistan didn't respect Bush enough to allow any ops. It wasn't until Obama came in and was all touchy-feely with the Paks that they felt that it wouldn't be embarrassing if that op went soup sandwich.

But I say to you, Love your enemies and pray for those who persecute you, so that you may be sons of your Father who is in heaven; for he makes his sun rise on the evil and on the good, and sends rain on the just and on the unjust.
When asked which commandment was the most important, Jesus said, “Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind. This is the first and great commandment. And the second is like unto it, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself” (Matthew 22:37-39).
