I see models in China with over 400- 700 miles of range at less than 25k and Kia has several at 25k with 400 miles of range.

Time is not on Teslas side there are 3 competitors with sub 30k machines with 400 mile range. It needs to roll out by the end of 2024. 2025-2027 will make it launch in the middle of sub 25k vehicles.
So who are these competitors, name, names.
So the problem as you see it is that time isn’t on Tesla’s side, because of some unnamed competitors. You think maybe the problem isn’t time, because the competitors products are not Teslas products, and a lot of people want to buy an EV, but not the competitors EV’s, they wanna buy a Tesla, and so do you think the competitors, your words, not mine, know this too?

I am no Tesla fanboy but if Tesla hits the 25k price with their car I do not see much competition. China maybe, but in USA they will simply be not allowed and in Europe they do not sell as much as expected and there too they face challenges and maybe some tariffs. And if Ford cannot sell the EVs profitably now, what is a chance it can do it with 25k car and how many potential EV buyers will go to Ford instead of Tesla knowing that Tesla is THE electric car brand. Others like French or VW are also working on and already introducing sub 25k euro cars, but they are and will be SMALLER than Tesla ''affordable car'', that much we know judging by what they are making and what is Tesla planning to make (closer to Honda Civic, bigger than BYD Dolphin... than sth like VW Polo which others are mainly making now). How do I know that? Because Tesla bought and disassembled Honda Civic to learn what it is made of, they are looking at that size of car, maybe a bit smaller, but not sub-compact
With a current price of over $10 per gallon, and still rising, any small EV will be a great success in the EU.

I like Tesla but anything goes wrong with the vehicle it’s cost a lot to fix it or buy a new car big disappointment sell my Tesla Y and Tesla X model and bought 3 Lexus gas hybrid only 5 minutes refill
