  • This is why we do these videos and content. This mom and daughter (I’m assuming) approach me on this cleaning and showed interest in helping us out clean the children’s graves. It was awesome and made it so worth it. If you two are watching this….I really appreciated it and hope to see you both out there one day!

@kirbappeal182 I have used them myself and they work very well as the moss can be very hard to shift in the lettering and it saves the wear on your brushes for cleaning the flat parts of the stones. Another one cleaned and a child remembered.

So ronin got to meet his great grandmother (we cleaned her headstone a few months ago)and his great grandfather. Then I remembered my 8 year old uncle was there also. He was hit and killed back in 1971 getting off the school bus when a semi failed to stop. So we found his grave and it looked like it hadn’t been cleaned in decades. If ever. So he was close in age to my Uncle Jimmy and I could see the wheels turning in his head. He asked if I had any tools in my truck that could help clean it off for him. A lot of the newborns probably were premature or had heart conditions or other congenital problems that couldn't be corrected back then. President Kennedy's son, Patrick, died in 1963 from being premature, although he weighed 4.5 pounds. Today he would have survived, no problem, but he had hyaline membrane syndrome and there was no treatment for it then.
