I thought that was a stupid thing he said. Sharks always jump into deals based on the valuation they want to. Why would you offer what your max is, knowing they would ask for more.
I’m a biology specialization uni graduate on track to get a second uni degree in biology and carbohydrates are not bad. Disaccharides are literally the name for when 2 molecules of sugar are attached. These are found everywhere. Carbs are not an enemy. Nearly anything sweet (excluding any exceptions I don’t know about) has carbs and therefore mono/disaccharides/ trisaccharides/ polysaccharides. It’s criminal to use words that the public doesn’t know and try to make them seem like an ingredient to avoid. Rant over 😒

Most students are learning this in high school. It's literally sugar molecules.... crazy how media and businesses sensationalize words. They conflate and manipulate words with their meaning
I'm pretty sure they said glycerides, not saccharides. Regardless, even if they're not inherently bad, they're way overused in processed foods, can easily diffuse into the bloodstream, and like anything are bad in excess. There is merit in buying alternatives where this isn't the case.
With a lifetime sale of 1 million and making a loss of 400k... ending that year at 1.7 million implying 700k sales in that year... with business started in 2017 and no assets(since they didn't talk about any) they are not worth more than 2 million at max...they should get a reality check

They are doubling their sales every year, so if it's 1.7 this year, then it's gonna be 3.4 next and 6.8 year after that and so on. Roughly speaking. That "but we are investing in you now" trick is total bs:)
I'm big on banana ice cream so I tried this product when I saw it at my local discount grocery and ate it up fast. It was great and I wish I could buy it at the chains around here. It's a really good product imo and I wish I could try some of the samples they showed on this episode but idk if they make them anymore

Like I am sure their products taste amazing but all of the "be scared of XYZ" because you cannot pronounce a certain chemical and the "eww, cochineal dyes are derived from crushed bugs" annoys me. If it's not carcinogenic or poisonous, why is there a need to be afraid of it ? They seem to be the type of company who'd scare someone into not buying a more affordable product on the market because it has Dihydrogen monoxide in it.
Just going to say, not everyone can eat bananas, oats (if not specifically gluten-free), dates, coconut, etc. It all depends on food allergies. So, I wish companies like this would stop saying things like this is healthier for “everyone.” Especially when their products contain nuts, a top allergen that not “everyone” can eat.
