In general, his highest is Db6, which is surprisingly in multiple of his songs, my favourite being from the ending of "Leave Me Alone", but he's also hit it in Thriller and a few others.👑🌟💯(So the answer is YES, MJ was more than qualified/capable of singing Opera he has a Opera song titled “Little Susie” and has songs that has elements of Opera in it some you mentioned within this video, but my favorite is “Childhood”.)

Oh yes maybe you're thinking of the falsetto (high voice guys do) probably is used in opera too. Barry Gibb from Bee Gees is a falsetto singer. It's beyond your natural singing voice.

@@Milkers777no sir sorry you’re confused as to what constitutes an operatic voice. He does have. Crazy range, no one ever contested that. But, opera is a completely different technique then pop, many singers have range but that doesn’t mean they sing opera. Opera uses very honed specific technique using low larynx and sound placement in the singers “mask”, not to mention the squillo which is a very specific way of singing that lets the voice be heard over a 60 piece orchestra without a microphone. Trust me, this, MJ, despite all his talented could not do and that’s ok. Opera singers can’t dance like him or create songs like him either, it’s just completely different skill sets. As a lifelong MJ and opera fan, I’m pointing out they are two different skill sets and that’s perfectly ok. No need to get defensive, rather there’s much to learn about genres you may not know a whole lot about. Highly highly recommend watching some Pavarotti, Caruso, three tenors and history of opera documentaries

Of all styles of singing it is perhaps the most demanding and readings to learn, but someone like MJ, if he had his heart set on it and started young enough, could definitely do it :)

I am just saying that he manufactured some of his upper sounds which were overdubbed, etc. He had a very nice voice but he would have had an even better one had he let it develop naturally and had he not pushed the boundaries at the top. The average listener doesn’t hear the difference but a trained, veteran university voice instructor can hear it and is simply concerned about the issue from a vocal health side of things. Michael had a regular lower range. He was no bass singer,of course but he had a broader tessitura than he apparently ever wished to explore. Personally, I would have liked to hear that.
Jesus! That's church high pitch voice style! Look for Armenian church choirs on TH-cam to hear. I have not heard anything like that from other people. That pitch is usually difficult even for a lady. OMJ!
