    Aaah fond memories of that first Panther stretching video back in 1890. I see the panther has shrunk and is waiting to be let in.

    Thanks Master Wallace - you truly demonstrate a life well lived. My wife and I met you in Orlando at the American Kwan event back in 2019. You were very kind to chat with us both before the training started. Thanks for that great memory. She was the pretty crossfit lady you made join all those karate folks in stretching. LOL. The very best to you and yours.

    I remember you in Melbourne Australia 1989 at a Kick boxing tournament.
    You were semi hidden away on side of the stage in a splits position throughout most of the tournament which blew me away .
    Then you did a demonstration with an Australian champion.
    You were toying with him and made him look like a novice and you were clowning around with the audience.
    I've been in awe of you ever since .
    Please do more stretching vids as it's inspirational listening to a Master who's been stretching for decades ☺️

    Mr. Wallace, wondered if you recall seeing a match where my father's student obviously scored a point with a vicious kick and no point was given. You got up and took over the spot of the lead judge and asked the other judges "point?" They all pointed to my father's student. It's one of his favorite stories and we always thought of you as the greatest

    Mr Wallace! As your main emphasis seems to be on teaching the muscle to relax, I wondered what your opinion was on modern most modern day flexibility coaches insisting on contracting/squeezing the muscle at the end range of motion to convince your central nervous system that you are strong and capable in further ranges of motion. Is this something you have ever incorporated?
    Thank you sir! 🙏

    • @officialbillsuperfootwalla1818
      @officialbillsuperfootwalla1818  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      No, there are several ways of flexibility, for example PNF. Because I want to keep speed I refrain from trying to lengthen the muscle. Keeping my reactions is important. A relaxed muscle is a quicker muscle. Just my view. Thanks for your comment.

    Good morning Master Wallace. If its ok with you. I was very curious if you have any advice for Kicking with an Inguinal hernia. Im very respectfully asking because my surgery is still 6 months away and i selfishly don't want to give up training. I appreciate Your Time and consideration Sir.

    • @officialbillsuperfootwalla1818
      @officialbillsuperfootwalla1818  ปีที่แล้ว

      Let yourself completely heal first of all. You can still workout lightly but refrain from anything involving your abdominal area. I can't emphasis this enough - LET YOURSELF HEAL COMPLETELY

    Hi Mr Wallace. I'm a lifelong martial artist who's 54yo now. My hips starting to ache a little and I'm starting to lose a little motion. Is there anything you think you would have done differently in your career that might have spared your hip some abuse?

    • @officialbillsuperfootwalla1818
      @officialbillsuperfootwalla1818  3 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      Yes, #1 stretch to where it starts to hurt and then STOP. #2 and don't kick super hard because it compresses the cartilage. Instead quick quickly, snap the kicks fast.

    • @officialbillsuperfootwalla1818
      @officialbillsuperfootwalla1818  ปีที่แล้ว

      Yes, several things. Number one not doing stupid things. When we are young, we do that, hahaha. When I was young I would push my splits beyond 180 degrees and that is just not needed.
