I ❤ listening and learning from you! Todah Rabah Rabbi Tovia Singer for all you do! I am so blessed to have you in my life. We're all so blessed to have you! May your father's memory forever be a blessing. May his neshama have the highest Aliyah! Thank you so much.
It is clear that the Holy One, blessed be He, is not confined to a body or physical form. Although He may present Himself to a person as a specific form in a prophetic vision, intellectually, that is so the person can receive God's message within his mind and senses. This is the revelation of the Creator through the medium of a certain intellectual context, in accordance with the prophet's level, in order that he will be able to perceive God in some limited way.
Moses is the greatest prophet for Judaism because God gave him Torah. While Synoptic Jesus (not Damascus Jesus [Jesus according to Paul or Paul himself]) says : “Do not think that I have come to abolish the Law or the Prophets; I have not come to abolish them but to fulfill them. For truly I tell you, until heaven and earth disappear, not the smallest letter, not the least stroke of a pen, will by any means disappear from the Law until everything is accomplished. Therefore anyone who sets aside one of the least of these commands and teaches others accordingly will be called least in the kingdom of heaven, but whoever practices and teaches these commands will be called great in the kingdom of heaven. For I tell you that unless your righteousness surpasses that of the Pharisees and the teachers of the law, you will certainly not enter the kingdom of heaven. Heaven is not about how to fulfill Torah. It is how to go beyond Torah through the name of Synoptic Jesus the glory of God (not Damascus Jesus the glory of religion, or other religions). Soli Deo Gloria in the name of Synoptic Jesus the glory of God (not Damascus Jesus the glory of religion or Christianity). ❤🙏
Amazing, thank you Rabbi Tovia. May Mashiach come soon. "I believe with complete faith in the coming of Mashiach. Even though he tarries I wait for him to come every day".
And when Moses arrived at Our appointed time and his Lord spoke to him, he said, "My Lord, show me [Yourself] that I may look at You." [Allah] said, "You will not see Me, but look at the mountain; if it should remain in place, then you will see Me." But when his Lord appeared to the mountain, He rendered it level, and Moses fell unconscious. And when he awoke, he said, "Exalted are You! I have repented to You, and I am the first of the believers." It is called tajali in Arabic god told Moses look at the mountain to see my light or radiation ( tajali) if mountain can tolerate you can also but when god showed Moses his tajali on mountain it became level or dust . It is best for human not to see god bcz we can’t tolerate seeing god in this world but in paradise god will show himself to believers ❤
Gav is the physical back in ivrit and the passage used uses the word achorai. Long story short it’s not the physical back being referred to it means you can know what comes after my existence! like footsteps in the sand!
I believe that even as God says He "spoke to Moses face to face as friend", it doesn't say Moses did the same. I think it could be interpreted as a two way mirror like the ones they have in interrogation rooms. The one guy, guy A sees his own reflection yet the other person, guy B sees the guy A on the other side of the mirror. Whether God was a cloud or invisible but He stood in front of Moses and though Moses knew God was there, he couldn't see Him. My humble opinion.
Yes seeing his face is 71 times in the Torah…. Those who are his truly G.OD’s ;Will see his divine presence( panim)(Shekinah) that’s what Made the Israelites different from any other Nation…👁🐝 He is real and he will Show himself to his Bloodline 🧬 👁 Keep studying Torah…
You have avoided your own admission. That God did come down in a phhsical form. Moses like any of us would be curious to see God for who he is physically. Is the the first after abrahma that has had an experience with God. Please let us know who visited abraham and ate his bread !!!!
Ibn Ezra on Genesis 18:1 AND THE LORD APPEARED. Behold, a few say that God is three men: He is one and He is three and they are inseparable. They forget that Scripture expressly states, And the two angels came to Sodom at even. However, the commentaries tell us that God first appeared to Abraham in a vision after which Abraham lifted up his eyes and saw three angels. One came to bring happy tidings to Sarah and the other two went on to Sodom, one to destroy it and one to save Lot.
Rabbeinu Bahya on Genesis 18:2 The angels were Michael, Raphael, and Gavriel. Michael had been assigned the task of announcing that Sarah would have a child and to save Lot. Both of these assignments were expressions of G’d’s love or mercy respectively, and could therefore be described as being of the same category. Raphael had the task of healing Avraham. Gavriel’s task was to turn Sodom upside down. This is why the Torah writes (19,1) “the two angels arrived at Sodom in the evening.” This is a reference to Michael and Gavriel.
Seeing the face of god is a metaphor for understanding the spiritual/moral precepts. The literalist perspective faces the cognitive dissonance that literal sensational miracles are foreign from real experience.

This was very interesting! Thank you! When the Father said you can see my hinder parts, could it be that this is when God revealed to Mosheh, all that had happened in the past before this particular day? Not sure if that made sense. Moses wrote Genesis, and so did the Father “take him back” to give him the book of Genesis. That may not have come out right. LOL Shalom shalom!
Starting with yesterday question who is God's chosen people? Which is answered in in Jeremiah 24. On Moses seeing the face of the lord,he did not see the face of the lord but he saw the back.he knew right away that the face of the lord is the solution to the world problems. See psalms 29:11 and all passages that mentions the face of the lord. The NT claims all these things happened in the transfiguration of Moses and Elijah.
Why is it when God supposedly spoke to an ancient prophet it was a holy moment but if someone today said they spoke to God therapy would be recommended? Abraham was noble to obey the order to sacrifice his son but now it’s life in prison or mental ward and rightfully so!
The authenticity of Moses is based on the public revelation at Sinai: God revealed Himself to the entire nation of Israel, at least three million people, and proclaimed before them the Ten Commandments. The entire Jewish people personally experienced that revelation, each individual in effect becoming a prophet, and each one verifying the experience of the other. With their own eyes they saw, and with their own ears they heard, as the Divine voice spoke to them, and also they heard God saying, "Moses, Moses, go tell them the following ..." They did not receive the occurrence of that event and accept it as some claim or tradition of an individual, but they experienced it themselves. That public revelation, therefore, authenticated the bona fide status of Moses as a prophet of God, and the Divine origin of the instructions he recorded in the Torah. That, and that alone, is the criterion for the belief in, and acceptance of, Moses and his teachings, as God said to him, "I will come unto you in a thick cloud that the people may hear when I speak with you and will also believe in you forever" (Exodus 19:9).
Because we don't have prophets today. We know this because nobody is prophesizing future events and having them come true. This is why when people say God spoke to them, unless they could prove it like a prophet had to prove himself by showing their prophecy come true, they are faking...and most of the time psychotic.
It boils down to the answer of two questions. 1. Is there an all-encompassing G-d who created the world? 2. Did that all-encompassing G-d give us the Torah. If the answer to both questions are YES, you have your answer.
I don't believe that God is a Man, I don't believe Jesus is the Mesiah, Much less that He is God. But I truly believe that God has some physical aspect. In the Hebrew Bible You can see that God has feelings and emotions, I mean" Genesis says that God regret to creat Man. There are a lot of verses that portrait God as a being with feelings. He also is a jealous God. Jealously come from someone who has emotions. And if God sees the future? There's not point for him to be punishing people for what They do wrong, Because He already know that, They will do wrong. It doesn't look good to punish people for something You know they will do wrong.
But, he is a mesiah in The Quran, Qs. 5:17 Indeed, those who say, “Allah is the Messiah, son of Mary,” have fallen into disbelief. Say, ˹O Prophet,˺ “Who has the power to prevent Allah if He chose to destroy the Messiah, son of Mary, his mother, and everyone in the world all together?” To Allah ˹alone˺ belongs the kingdom of the heavens and the earth and everything in between. He creates whatever He wills. And Allah is Most Capable of everything.
3:20 lol Why, Tovia? Why is that completely preposterous? You really think it's some big stretch that a mortal man would be curious to see what the Almighty God of the universe looks like? You may be up there in age, but you're an incredible gymnast.
Who cares what He looks like? The only reason you and frankly most people are interested is because you are a product of western society where your image is all that matters and how you look, how much you make, what car you drive and what house you live in, defines you. There is nothing more vain than this. When you realize this you will not care or feel a need to know what God looks like. Don't you find it odd that pictures of Jesus are always how we would perceive the epitome of beauty. Beauty doesn't define anything. It's what is inside that matters obviously and when society wakes up and realizes the vanity they are living, they will abandon any desire for image.
@@nothingbutthetruth613 Well, Moses clearly cared and he wasn't a Westerner. It's not that complicated, amigo. Human beings are curious about things and Moses was clearly curious about what God looks like. It's as simple as that.
@@LennyCash777 You aren't understanding. If Moses was truly saying he wants to see what God looks like, he wasn't just curious. He was practically begging for this. You have to answer the obvious question of why he would need to see this so badly. People might be curious but this is way beyond curiosity. There was something in his request that was much more important than mere looks. Only a vain individual who puts value in outside looks, will care what someone looks like. This is clearly not what he was seeking. Don't forget though that if he was truly asking to see God, then God made it clear you can't see God and this would make a colossal problem for the church's man-made god idea.
Moses lifted up Nehushtan in the desert to save the Israelites, the Son of man was lifted up on a tree to save the world. David was filled with the Holy Spirit and begged God not to remove the Spirit from him. He also spoke of Jesus's death, hands and feet being pierced. Yeshua fulfilled over 40 prophecies in the Bible. Remphan fulfilled zero. God save us all from the Tribulation. Yeshua Hamashiach is come in the flesh.
In the future, the Messianic king will arise and renew the Davidic dynasty, restoring it to its initial sovereignty. He will build the Temple and gather the dispersed of Israel. Then, in his days, the observance of all the statutes will return to their previous state. Jews will offer sacrifices, observe the Sabbatical and Jubilee years according to all their particulars as described by the Torah.
eternal punishment is real. it's for those who do not obey jesus. the new testament has the answer to sin. this man doesn't have the answer to anything.
you can't see my face and live.. You and you alone are god incarnate. Your "awareness of being, the observer, consciousness" has been you always, never left your side. But you thought yourself to be the creation and became identified with it. Looking into a mirror you think you are you, but come the day you experience "no self", simple awareness of being you will have died. The character no longer present while still incarnate. This will happen when you "die", but the whole point is to experience it while still incarnate. You the faceless, unmanifest one is awaiting revelation. But are you willing to give up the character you have been playing for eons? Can you relinquish your perspective or conditioning you've been birthed into in this current expression. Yes you, created all the characters and have played them all... you the Alpha, the beginning. Can you come to the conclusion and remove your mask from this cosmic masquerade party... and know yourself as the Omega?
@@hrvatskinoahid1048 So how did Jews end up speaking Yiddish? So what your saying is an oral tradition stayed intact for thousands of years with no changes, well then id like you to try a game called telephone. There are No historical documents that aren't copies before 1000AD
Why is Jesus not the messiah who is described in Tanakh? Jesus' problematic Genealogy. 1. The Genealogy in the Gospel of Luke is not valid because it is through Nathan and not through the messiah king Solomon. The House of David is inherited from the messiah king David through the messiah king Solomon in 1 Chronicles 22:9-10 2. The Genealogy in the Gospel of Matthew is not valid because all descendants of Jeconiah were cursed and can never sit on the throne of David in Jeremiah 22:30. 3. The Genealogy in the Gospel of Matthew removed names in 1 Chronicles 3:5-15 and therefore is not valid. The Genealogy in the Gospel of Matthew removed 3 names between Jehoram and Uzziah (Azariah) and removed one name between Josiah and Jeconiah to change the word of God in 1 Chronicles 3:5-15 and invent 14 generations.
Why is the Jesus of the Gospel not the messiah described in Tanakh. 1. The Genealogy in the Gospel of Luke is not valid because the House of David is inherited from the messiah king David through the messiah king Solomon forever in 1 Chronicles 22:9-10 and is contradicted in the Gospel of Luke which is through Nathan and not through Solomon. 2. The Genealogy in the Gospel of Matthew is not valid because Jeremiah 22:28 says Coniah is despised. Jeremiah 22:30 says none of his descendants will sit on the throne of David. 3. The Genealogy in 1 Chronicles 3:5-15 is contradicted by the Gospel of Matthew which removed 4 names meaning it did not include 4 generations.
Why does the Gospel not replace the Torah commandments? God promised to preserve the Torah by commanding it be followed for 100,000 years and commanding Jews to observe the Sabbath Day forever in every generation. God says those who follow the Torah for 100,000 years love God. Deuteronomy 5:10 And showing mercy to the thousandth generation of them that love Me (God) and keep My (God’s) commandments. Note 1. If humans lived for 100 years then the thousandth generation of humans would be in 100,000 years. God promises to protect the Torah for every generation by commanding the Hebrew people to keep following the Torah for 100,000 years in Deuteronomy 5:10. This commandment of God says to the children of Israel that those that love God shall keep these commandments to the thousandth generation.
Isaiah confirms that nothing will replace the Torah commandments. Isaiah 59:21 And as for Me (God), this is My covenant with them (the Jewish people who are mentioned in Isaiah 36:11 and Isaiah 36:13), said the LORD; My spirit that is on you (the Jewish people), and My words (the Torah Taurat) which I (God) have put in your mouth, shall not depart out of your mouth, nor out of the mouth of your seed (off-spring), nor out of the mouth of your seed's seed (descendants), said the LORD, from now and forever. Note 1. The promise of God that the Torah Taurat is protected forever. Note 2. God keeps His covenant promises forever.
What he means by you cannot see my face and live is referring to the spacecraft that your God is in. Have you looked at chapter 33 I believe verse 10 and 11 I god comes down to the camp where Moses is staying. He talks to God face to face this is actually real he's talking to God from being to human being. Now when you go to chapter 33:18 he asked God to beseech him and show him his glory he's referring to the spacecraft and that's why God or the Lord if you want to call him that says that you can't see his face and this has to do with his glory, that's why he's going to put Moses in a cleft of a rock to protect him from the thrusts and the so after God protects him and flies over Moses as soon as he flies away Moses can see the back of his ship and not the front that's what it means. It's a physical event don't be confused Moses was interacting with an extraterrestrial being
Lovely explanation sounds beautiful, BUT that's NOT what the passage SAYS. Moses asked to see God's glory, but he had to hide behind a rock .. It seems Gods glory is not spiritual but physical. The contradiction in the text is much deeper than discussed in the video.
I agree everyone wants to "see" Him in the sense that they want to know He exists but why would you care to see what He looks like. What difference does that make?
Alan F. Segal no Christian scholar write He makes battle in Egypt; the Lord is His name-He battles at the sea and is the same at the Jordan and the same at the Arnon, the same in this world and the same in the world to come, the same in the past and the same in the future age. The passage, hence, has been further expanded by MRSbY to include the events of the Arnon. (For description of saving events at Arnon see, Tan Β., IV, 126-27, Tan. Hukhat 19, Nu. R. 19:24, SZ 23-24, b. Ber. 59a-59b. Also Ginzberg, Legends, III, p. 337 f. and VI, p. 116 f.) The proof-texts have been expanded as well, by the addition of two more biblical quotations-Is. 44:6 between Dt. 32:39 and Is. 41:4 and also Is. 48:12 at the end. It is possible that each of the four scriptural quotations is to be taken as a specific proof for the corresponding previous statement of God's immutability. (See Goldin, Song, p. 128.) In the Bahodesh traditions, the statements of God's constancy are present but the proof-texts are Dt. 32:39, Is. 46:4, Is. 44:6, and Is. 41:4. 42 THIÌ IÌARLY RABBINIC EVIDENCE to a third generation amora, R. Hiyya b. Abba (290-320 C.E.) there fore is later than him. Notice that the midrash is occasioned by Moses' vision of God "face to face," confirming that theophany and anthro pomorphism are basic issues in the tradition. Moses' special gift in somehow seeing God or His angel, though it may contradict Ex. 33, remains a central preoccupation. R. Levi (290-320 C.E.) first contri butes the midrash that God appears in whatever form is appropriate to His action. He uses Ex. 15:3 as his proof-text that God appeared as a young man at the Sea. Interestingly enough, he seems at first not to be interested in Ex. 24:10 f., which demonstrates elsewhere that God appeared in His merciful form. Rather, he emphasizes the youth-age contrast by quoting Job 12:12 to the effect that age denotes wisdom. Hence, it was appropriate for God to have appeared in aged form on Sinai. Genesis 18 Then the Lord appeared to him by [a]the terebinth trees of Mamre, as he was sitting in the tent door in the heat of the day. The text is used in "Tetragrammaton," which refers to the four-letter name of God in Hebrew: יהוה (Yod-Heh-Vav-Heh), YHWH appeared to Abraham by the terebinth trees of Mamre. Bava Metzia 86b:19, genesis 18:2 Once God saw Abraham tying and untying the bandage on his circumcision, God said: It is not proper conduct to stand here, i.e., it is not respectful to Abraham even for God to stand there. This is as it is written: “And he lifted up his eyes and looked, and, behold, three men stood over him; and when he saw them, he ran to meet them” (Genesis 18:2). The verse first states that they stood over him, and then it says that he ran to meet them. The Gemara reconciles this apparent contradiction: Initially, they came and stood over him. Upon seeing that he was in pain, they said: It is not proper conduct to stand here. Bava Metzia 86b:18, genesis 18:3 The Gemara continues: Abraham himself went out and saw the Holy One, Blessed be He, standing at the entrance to his tent. This is as it is written: “My Lord, if now I have found favor in your eyes, do not leave Your servant” (Genesis 18:3), i.e., God’s presence was there, and Abraham asked Him for permission to attend to the travelers. The Holy One, Blessed Be He, is fully capable of entering His creation and revealing Himself to prophets. Maimonides' position is incorrect if the Talmud clearly attests to the fact that Abraham saw Hashem standing by the terebinth trees of Mamre while he was engaged in tying and untying his bandage. As Bava Metzia 86b:19 states, 'Abraham himself went out and saw the Holy One, Blessed Be He, standing at the entrance to his tent.' Furthermore, Bava Metzia 86b:18 explains that God Himself said, 'It is not proper conduct to stand here,' signifying that it would not be respectful for God to stand in such a manner before Abraham, underscoring the special nature of God's appearance to him." Isaiah 6:1 In the year that King Uzziah died, I saw the Lord sitting on a throne, high and lifted up, and the train of His robe filled the temple. Isaiah 6:5 “Woe is me, for I am undone! Because I am a man of unclean lips, And I dwell in the midst of a people of unclean lips; For my eyes have seen the King, The Lord of hosts.” Yevamot 49b:7 The Gemara expands on the events surrounding Isaiah’s death: Rava said: Manasseh judged him as a false witness for issuing statements contradicting the Torah and only then killed him. Manasseh said to Isaiah: Moses your master said in the Torah: “And He said: You cannot see My face, for man cannot see Me and live” (Exodus 33:20), and yet you said: “I saw the Lord sitting upon a high and lofty throne” (Isaiah 6:1). According to the Talmud, Prophet Isaiah seeing God was a contradiction for the rabbis. Studies in the Zohar Yehuda Liebes“alone, saying only "God is one," as is found in the mystery "God will be one" (Zechariah xiv, 9). Likewise, in the verse ". . . Holy is the Lord of Hosts," why is "holy" found three times" Is this not a very confusing matter? [Which is connected with Isaiah 6:3 “Holy, holy, holy is the Lord of hosts]”The Bold emphasis is mine. Another example is Moses Beholding G-d’s form in Numbers 12:6-8 Then He said, “Hear now My words: If there is a prophet among you, I, the Lord, make Myself known to him in a vision; I speak to him in a dream. Not so with My servant Moses; He is faithful in all My house. I speak with him face to face, Even plainly, and not in dark sayings; And he sees the form of the Lord. Why then were you not afraid To speak against My servant Moses?” This is how God spoke to Moses face to face by manifesting himself in a form so, that Moses could see him (Exodus 33:1) The Hebrew bible and the Talmud confirms that G-d almighty has appeared in physical form to be visible seen by prophets. וּתְמֻנַ֥ת - “and the form” יְהֹוָ֖ה - “of the Lord” יַבִּ֑יט - “he will behold” Numbers 12:8.
Lost you in the first 3 words when you gave the name of the author of that 2 powers in heaven nonsense. Enough with the dogmatic academics. You are looking in the wrong place
Hello, my Jewish friends love and shalom. I am here to share what the Spirit of God showed me recently. Hashem lives forever outside of His Creation however He entered it by His birth in the town of Bethlehem and walked the land of Israel and then died and rose from the dead to return to the Father again outside of creation. Here is what God wanted me to share: All of these things He said and did as the Son of Man are in the form of a metaphor in the Torah. It was like a dream that really happened. Let the scales of pride fall off your eyes and see how much more Hashem has for you. Don't let the schism caused by the High Priest and the San Hedron lead you away from the Way, the Truth, and the Life. Look again. Shalom
The "image of God" within mankind is not the form of the human body, God forbid, which would be a false and idolatrous concept, but rather the unique capacity for intellect and speech that is possessed by the human enlivening soul, and its ability to distinguish between good and evil.
I admit that I worship the God of our ancestors as a follower of the way of Christ, which they call a sect. I believe everything that is in accordance with the Torah and that is written in the Prophets, and I have the same hope in God as these men themselves have, that there will be a resurrection of both the righteous and the wicked.
In the Clementine Literature, the Nazarene Apostle Peter is asked the same question by his antagonist Simon Magus…Peter’s answer is simple. In Chapter 19, Simon Magus proposes his alleged contradiction. In Chapter 20, Peter provides an explanation. Keep in mind that Peter’s audiences who are present for the debates are a mixture of Jews and Gentiles. Clementine Recognitions Book 3: Chapter 19 (excerpt) …Then Simon answered; “I want to bring you back to the first question. You said that God is visible to no one, and when heaven will be dissolved, and that superior condition of the heavenly kingdom shall shine forth, then those who are pure in heart shall see God, which statement is contrary to the Law, for there it is written that God said; “No one shall see my face and live.” Recognitions Book 3: Chapter 20: How the pure in heart see God. Then Peter answered; “To those who don't read the Law according to the tradition of Moses, my speech will appear to be contrary to it, but I'll show you how it is not at all contradictory. God is seen by the mind, not by the body. He is seen by the spirit, not by the flesh. Angels, who are spirits, see God, and therefore men, as long as they are flesh, cannot see Him. But after the resurrection of the dead, when they shall have been made like the angels, they shall be able to see God. Therefore, my statement is not contrary to the Law, neither is that when our Master said; “Blessed are they of a pure heart, for they shall see God.” He showed that a time will come after the resurrection when men shall be made to be just like the angels, who in the spirit of their mind; see God.” And for the more in-depth explanation…. Homily Book 17: Chapter 16: None but evil demons appear to the unrighteous. And Peter replied; “I remember that I promised to prove this point and to give my proofs regarding it from Scripture and apart from Scripture, and now listen to what I have to say regarding it. We know that there are many if you will pardon the statement, and if you don't, I can appeal to those who are present as judges, who worship idols, commit adultery, and sin in every way, and yet they see true visions and dreams, and some of them also have apparitions of demons, for I maintain that the eyes of mortals cannot see the incorporeal form of the Father or Son, because it is illumined by an exceedingly great light. Therefore it is not because God envies us, but it is because He pities us, that He cannot be seen by man, who is made of flesh and blood, for he who sees God cannot live, for the excess and power of that great light dissolves the flesh of him who sees, unless, by the secret power of God, the flesh of man is changed into the nature of light, so that the changed body can see that incorporeal light, or conversely, the substance of light is changed into flesh, so that it can be seen by the flesh. For the power to see the Father, without undergoing any change, belongs to the Son alone. But at the resurrection of the dead, the just will become like the angels when their bodies have been changed into light, and in this manner, they will be able to see God. Finally, know this, any angel that is sent so that he can be seen by mortal man, that angel, who is made of light, is at that time changed into flesh, so that it may be able to be seen by men in the flesh. For no one who is in the flesh can see the incorporeal power, not only of the Son, but not even that of an angel, and live. But if one sees an apparition, he should know that this is the apparition of an evil demon and not an angel. - Angels can be changed from their original ethereal body of light into a body of flesh and blood when interacting with man (for the reason stated above). When the interaction is over, Angels can change back into their ethereal body of light so they can ascend to their upper abodes. It is only when the Angels became involved and mated with women (becoming corrupted) that they lost the ability to assume their ethereal bodies, and remained as flesh and blood...these are the fallen angels. The offspring of the fallen angels and women were the corrupt giants. - Men who are naturally flesh and blood, can only see God if 1. They are righteous....and 2, their flesh and blood bodies are changed (glorified) into a state of light.
something like 65 times ‘angel of the lord’ is referenced where its ‘malak yhwh’. malak meaning angel or messenger where this god supposedly interacts with humans. i personally don’t believe they were writing about God. or if they were they wildly distorted attributes. commanding you to kill your children if they try to get you to follow other gods and then saying there are no other gods is crazy at minimum. or boiling over with wrath when your kids complain about the food you gave them.. Anger is a secondary emotion. usually from something like fear- if i can control God’s emotions because of my words then im god’s god.. not to mention the idea Moses wrote the torah without a phonetic lettering system.. it’s more likely compiled later. Ultimately God hasn’t written any books. not any that I have seen. not that jews believe that but christians do. factions of men created this- maybe they were good men. who knows..
G-d cannot be seen we may see his back that is His actions in this world face to face is being able to see G-d as he unfolds himself instead of seeing Him in hindsight
The One True Creator G_d gave specific details to the Hebrew prophets about when the Real Messiach comes. No One! Especially the so-called "Jesus" has fulfilled any of them yet! 1. When the Real Messiach comes, he will be a normal man from the line of David through Solomon and will sit on the throne of David and rule from there forever. *Obviously, that hasn't happened yet! 2. When the Real Messiach comes, it will be at the End of Days. * Obviously, back then was not the End of Days! 3. When the Real Messiach comes, the Temple will be rebuilt never to be destroyed again, and The Messiach will start the animal sacrifices in the Temple again. * The opposite happened back then! The very fact that the Temple isn't standing proves that the so-called "Jesus" is Not The Messiach! 4. When the Real Messiach comes, Everyone around the world (including atheist) will know that he is The Messiach! * We KNOW that the so-called "Jesus" is Not The Messiach! 5. When the Real Messiach comes, death will cease to exist. * Obviously, that hasn't happened yet either because so many people are still getting sick and dying. 6. When the Real Messiach comes, there will be World Peace and weapons of war will be rebuilt into farming implements. * We're still waiting for that one!!! 7. When the Real Messiach comes, Everyone around the world, from every language will grab the Jews and say "Now we know that we have inherited only lies and G_d has been with you Jews all along. Please 🙏 take us with you!" * We're still waiting for that one, too!!! No where in the Torah/Tanach does it ever say that the Messiach will keep failing and have to come back again and again. According to Christianity, the so-called "Jesus" already came back a second time, but he still never fulfilled any of those Prophecies about the Real Messiach. So now Christians are waiting for a third coming. Christianity strikes out again!!!
No, he did not, but I have, and I am the only one in all human history who has ever seen His face and body. This is what the God of Israel looks like. This is a dream I saw 40 years ago. In the dream, I saw my spirit come out of my body, and as I was stering at myself, I was made aware that God was headed to come see me personally. I asked Him, He did not need to show Himself to me, but He said it was okay. From the moment He departed heaven, which is all around us at the edges where the darkness ends. Passed that darkness their is a different kind of light everywhere like the lighte of afternoon, not gloomy not bright temperature 68 degrees consistently. No stars. No sun anywhere. The space of infinity is white in appearance. As I was standing on my feet in spirit I saw the travel He did as He came inside my room. Before His travel, everything in my room turned white like snow. Floors walkes bed clothing everything. He traveled in a white light inside of it, and His travel was only a few seconds. I turned away from Him so as not to face Him because of His radiation, so He opened an eye in my forehead as is a physical eye yet I was not in the body. My body was in bed sleeping. This eye had the ability to see everywhere With this eye I was able to see the God of Israel to detail. I was made aware not to stare at His face but my human nature was curious and I did stare at it to detail. Details are later in this comment if anyone wants to know.
I think Moses is a myth. Somebody came out of Egypt. However, the ten plagues the pillar by day the fire by night. The quick conquest of the land of Canaan. Blowing the trumpets to conquer Jericho. I think it is all a myth.
“When Moses came at the appointed time and his Lord spoke to him, he asked, “My Lord! Reveal Yourself to me so I may see You.” Allah answered, “You cannot see Me! But look at the mountain. If it remains firm in its place, only then will you see Me.” When his Lord appeared to the mountain, He levelled it to dust and Moses collapsed unconscious. When he recovered, he cried, “Glory be to You! I turn to You in repentance and I am the first of the believers.” Quran 7:143
@@kenzo4Ever yes that’s exactly in Arabic, so translate it to English, my English is not perfect, I use translations of the meaning of the Quran I don’t translate it, here is some of translation chose the one you think the most close to Arabic: “My Lord, allow me to look and see You.” ‘My Lord, show Yourself to me so that I may look at You.’ ‘My Lord, show Yourself to me: let me see You!’ “My Lord! Show me (Thy Self), that I may gaze upon Thee.”
Of course, Moses literally saw God... as also did 70 of the "Elders of Israel"... as clearly stated in Exodus 24: Exodus 24:10 "and they saw the God of Israel; and under His feet there appeared to be a pavement of sapphire, as clear as the sky itself." If they saw God and additionally saw Him standing with a pavement of sapphire "UNDER HIS FEET"... then they saw Him fully, including His face... and as a MAN. 😮 When coupled with Genesis 18 and especially 32, there can be no doubt the literal God of Abraham and Jacob (Israel) is a literal corporeal MAN in whose image we were created, just as He so stated (Genesis 1:26).
Thank you for an eye opening encounter

Rabbi Singer Masterful moments I've read that many times only to be puzzled and could never find acceptable understanding

Thank you kindly 😊
It is clear that the Holy One, blessed be He, is not confined to a body or physical form. Although He may present Himself to a person as a specific form in a prophetic vision, intellectually, that is so the person can receive God's message within his mind and senses. This is the revelation of the Creator through the medium of a certain intellectual context, in accordance with the prophet's level, in order that he will be able to perceive God in some limited way.
If someone told you that they spoke to God you would look at them Crazy
@@babytony77 If three million witnesses authenticated his prophecy, I would be crazy to ignore it.

Moses is the greatest prophet for Judaism because God gave him Torah. While Synoptic Jesus (not Damascus Jesus [Jesus according to Paul or Paul himself]) says :
“Do not think that I have come to abolish the Law or the Prophets; I have not come to abolish them but to fulfill them.

Hello
Thanks for posting
I do follow your posts and I have a question with two parts
May I write it here ???
From my memory I would say that Moses saw the trail or tail end of Gods glory. And that was enough to make his face glow!

God's face means God's perspective.. in that way Moses has seen God's face.
You’re reading into the text your belief.

Really did Moses see God from the back? What is he doing at the back?
Read the Tanach in correct translation. All will be clear.
You have avoided your own admission. That God did come down in a phhsical form. Moses like any of us would be curious to see God for who he is physically. Is the the first after abrahma that has had an experience with God. Please let us know who visited abraham and ate his bread !!!!
Ibn Ezra on Genesis 18:1
AND THE LORD APPEARED.
Rabbeinu Bahya on Genesis 18:2
The angels were Michael, Raphael, and Gavriel.
@@Quranhadith360
Nope, angels don’t receive worship, read genesis 18 carefully. Abraham knew immediately that the 3 men were God

LOL

Hi
😊
Yes
Starting with yesterday question who is God's chosen people? Which is answered in in Jeremiah 24.
On Moses seeing the face of the lord,he did not see the face of the lord but he saw the back.he knew right away that the face of the lord is the solution to the world problems. See psalms 29:11 and all passages that mentions the face of the lord. The NT claims all these things happened in the transfiguration of Moses and Elijah.
Who wrote the pseudobible, Jesus? No
His apostle who knew him? No
The nt is fictional, except for the parts stolen from Tanach.
No Jacob said that in genesis 32.
How did Abraham speak to YHWH in Mamre? How did he prensented him self to Abraham?
In three men, angel means messenger
In a dream.
👍👍
Emotions of God are not physical it's spirutual emotion.
You didn't watch the whole video
@@ToviaSinger1 No, I did. I saw all the cartwheeling and splits, and everything. You got a perfect score.
Yeshua sinned. His sins included teaching contrary to the Torah of G’d. Yeshua waa not the messiah.

Not literally...there are literally billions of apparitions that may qualify as the "face G_D"!
you can't see my face and live..
God is not a man.
Yhwh would appear in a standing cloud. Elohim DOES NOT MEAN a god. WRONG WRONG WRONG
The real question is did Moses exist? Some scholars do not think he did.
Well you have Karna, and Sargon who have similar stories that predate Moses. Basket Boys

@@hrvatskinoahid1048 So how did Jews end up speaking Yiddish? So what your saying is an oral tradition stayed intact for thousands of years with no changes, well then id like you to try a game called telephone. There are No historical documents that aren't copies before 1000AD

Did a fantasy man see the face of a fantasy god?
THAT'S WHY GOD CAME INTO THIS WORLD, SO PEOPLE CAN SEE HIM, IN JESUS. HE REVEALED HIMSELF AS HUMAN TO SAVE ALL.

Why is Jesus not the messiah who is described in Tanakh?
Jesus' problematic Genealogy.
1. The Genealogy in the Gospel of Luke is not valid because it is through Nathan and not through the messiah king Solomon.
The House of David is inherited from the messiah king David through the messiah king Solomon in 1 Chronicles 22:9-10
Blessed are the pure at heart they shall see God Matthew 5;8
Whoever wrote the nt was, indeed, familiar with the Torah. The "Sermon on the Mount" was, imo, an encapsulation of the Torah.
I guess Tobias lose his point today nobody understands what is he talking about everybody wants to see God
Thank you
I agree everyone wants to "see" Him in the sense that they want to know He exists but why would you care to see what He looks like. What difference does that make?
Alan F. Segal no Christian scholar write
He makes battle in Egypt; the Lord is His name-He battles at the sea and is the same at the Jordan and the same at the Arnon, the same in this world and the same in the world to come, the same in the past and the same in the future age.
Bava Metzia 86b:19, genesis 18:2
Once God saw Abraham tying and untying the bandage on his circumcision, God said: It is not proper conduct to stand here, i.e., it is not respectful to Abraham even for God to stand there.
Bava Metzia 86b:18, genesis 18:3
The Gemara continues: Abraham himself went out and saw the Holy One, Blessed be He, standing at the entrance to his tent.
As Bava Metzia 86b:19 states, 'Abraham himself went out and saw the Holy One, Blessed Be He, standing at the entrance to his tent.' Furthermore, Bava Metzia 86b:18 explains that God Himself said, 'It is not proper conduct to stand here,' signifying that it would not be respectful for God to stand in such a manner before Abraham, underscoring the special nature of God's appearance to him."
Isaiah 6:1 In the year that King Uzziah died, I saw the Lord sitting on a throne, high and lifted up, and the train of His robe filled the temple.
Isaiah 6:5 “Woe is me, for I am undone! Because I am a man of unclean lips, And I dwell in the midst of a people of unclean lips; For my eyes have seen the King, The Lord of hosts.”
Yevamot 49b:7
The Gemara expands on the events surrounding Isaiah’s death: Rava said: Manasseh judged him as a false witness for issuing statements contradicting the Torah and only then killed him.
Why then were you not afraid To speak against My servant Moses?”
This is how God spoke to Moses face to face by manifesting himself in a form so, that Moses could see him (Exodus 33:1)
The Hebrew bible and the Talmud confirms that G-d almighty has appeared in physical form to be visible seen by prophets.
Maybe you cannot see the face of God but you can be filled with his spirit and walk away..
Look again. Shalom
Shalom Rabbi Tovia,...Let Us make Man in Our image, according to Our Likeness;...Genesis 1:26
The "image of God" within mankind is not the form of the human body, God forbid, which would be a false and idolatrous concept, but rather the unique capacity for intellect and speech that is possessed by the human enlivening soul, and its ability to distinguish between good and evil.
There were two references to Nephalim that you mentioned. Two mighty men and the sons of men. Both are known to reference Nephalim. Yea even Jesus.
You aren't worshipping the G-d of our ancestors by following the 'way of christ'.
And there won't be many wicked resurrected.
Clementine Recognitions Book 3: Chapter 19 (excerpt)
…Then Simon answered; “I want to bring you back to the first question. You said that God is visible to no one, and when heaven will be dissolved, and that superior condition of the heavenly kingdom shall shine forth, then those who are pure in heart shall see God, which statement is contrary to the Law, for there it is written that God said; “No one shall see my face and live.”
Recognitions Book 3: Chapter 20: How the pure in heart see God.
Therefore, my statement is not contrary to the Law, neither is that when our Master said; “Blessed are they of a pure heart, for they shall see God.” He showed that a time will come after the resurrection when men shall be made to be just like the angels, who in the spirit of their mind; see God.”
And for the more in-depth explanation….
If God can be seen then God is an object
Moses saw and spoke with the express image (Hebrew 1:3).
something like 65 times ‘angel of the lord’ is referenced where its ‘malak yhwh’. malak meaning angel or messenger where this god supposedly interacts with humans.
i personally don’t believe they were writing about God. or if they were they wildly distorted attributes. commanding you to kill your children if they try to get you to follow other gods and then saying there are no other gods is crazy at minimum. or boiling over with wrath when your kids complain about the food you gave them.. Anger is a secondary emotion. usually from something like fear- if i can control God’s emotions because of my words then im god’s god..
not to mention the idea Moses wrote the torah without a phonetic lettering system.. it’s more likely compiled later.
Ultimately God hasn’t written any books. not any that I have seen. not that jews believe that but christians do. factions of men created this- maybe they were good men. who knows..
Mashah is a real Being
G-d cannot be seen we may see his back that is His actions in this world face to face is being able to see G-d as he unfolds himself instead of seeing Him in hindsight
The face of God is the face of Jesus when God was speaking to Moses face to face.
God does not have a body or any form.
I have
Messiah says: you should ask Christ, you know he has resurrected
Please 🙏 take us with you!"
* We're still waiting for that one, too!!!
This eye had the ability to see everywhere
With this eye I was able to see the God of Israel to detail.
The Sinai revelation is a historical fact.
I turn to You in repentance and I am the first of the believers.”
Quran 7:143
"أرني" "أنظر" اليك.
Moses was very precise in using these words !!!
@@kenzo4Ever yes that’s exactly in Arabic, so translate it to English, my English is not perfect, I use translations of the meaning of the Quran I don’t translate it, here is some of translation chose the one you think the most close to Arabic:
“My Lord, allow me to look and see You.”
‘My Lord, show Yourself to me so that I may look at You.’
‘My Lord, show Yourself to me: let me see You!’
“My Lord! Show me (Thy Self), that I may gaze upon Thee.”
Of course, Moses literally saw God... as also did 70 of the "Elders of Israel"... as clearly stated in Exodus 24:
Exodus 24:10
"and they saw the God of Israel; and under His feet there appeared to be a pavement of sapphire, as clear as the sky itself."
If they saw God and additionally saw Him standing with a pavement of sapphire "UNDER HIS FEET"... then they saw Him fully, including His face... and as a MAN. 😮
When coupled with Genesis 18 and especially 32, there can be no doubt the literal God of Abraham and Jacob (Israel) is a literal corporeal MAN in whose image we were created, just as He so stated (Genesis 1:26).
In the moment of creation G-d knew every word every thought everything that has ever been was seen and aligned with G-ds plan it is truly delicious
