I was once sea sick when I first went to sea. The signs are, when your head goes hot and your glands starts to sweating. Then you can see what you had for breakfast 😂. Once you get your sealegs, you’ll be ok 👍👍

Great content. I used to work on a boat that sailed from Girvan to the Ailsa Craig. Boring fact for you but a lot of curling stones are made from the granite collected from the island. It’s now a bird conservation area.

I don't usually get sea sick, but some foods just don't sit well on rough seas. I have found less spice is better on rough days. Keep waiting for a dinosaur to jump out at you guys on the island. Interested in how you prepare for your trip. Water, food, first aid/medication, shelter, means of defense, and a plan. Keep it simple stupid. I have found a love of wool on boats. One of my favorite things to wear after a damp day. I am a big fan of dyneema rope too. Well worth the cost to have an extra spool. You will use it.

I am very familiar with the Isuzu engine like the one in Blue Spurr. I noticed the rev counter looked like it was not working. Check the blue and black wire. It should be connected to the terminal marked with a W on the back of the alternator. They often corrode or rattle loose. They are a great engine, unfortunately no longer produced.

Another great vid lads and although I don’t know any of your backgrounds, judging by your professionalism when doing serious jobs, I’d hazard to guess you’re ex squaddies and of course the mention of scran😁Although Henry looks like a teenager, he seems the most experienced seaman and I’m glad you give each other equal respect and that there doesn’t seem to be any pecking order. Well done boys, you’re yacht has opened up the whole world to future adventures and I look forward to watching them.👍

That island is the only place in the world where Olympic grade curling stones can be mined from 🥌, we will return to the island one day and cover the history in more detail

@@OutsideYourZone Yes of course, it seems about 8.31 across the wooden bridge, then about 9.03 climbing up the smooth stone. Did you have the camera on your head, then that would explain it, it just seemed a bit unstable as though it was on purpose. Have seen it done before to get that unstable view. But let me say , it was a brilliant trip. :)
