I would think that if your power cord is plugged into a cig outlet in your vehicle that is only on when the vehicle is on, it should power up upon cranking. Just a thought. My cig outlets are always on. So I can't test.

Thanks for watching. Are you referring to the bracket that is attached to the windshield or the bracket that the camera is in? With the Brave 7 LE, it actually has the tripod mount build into the camera, so you wouldn't need that extra piece. The bracket that is attached to the windshield comes in the box from Akaso. You should be able to mount the Brave 7 LE to your windshield using what comes in the box without having to purchase anything extra. Hope this helps.

I love it. I have been using one as a dash camera for a year but just did this video. I have one other one I have, I use frequently.

run time depends on your SD card size and what video settings you're using, I have a 64gb card and set it on 1080p and I have 6 hours worth of record time
