I very much enjoy just watching Corey and Donnie. Their teamwork and similar mindset makes for a hunting partnership that lasts a lifetime. Can’t wait for the next episode!
Great episode I really like how real this season feels like most people hunting Elk. You show the good with the bad. Great Job John capturing the this season the snow and B roll and beautiful scenery God's Blessings
I have experienced plenty of circus shows myself and it was an entertaining relief to see seasoned elk hunters like yourself still know how to put on a circus show too.😂 Thanks for always showing the failures and the successes and keeping your content authentic.
Brrr, been there but aging out of wanting to do heavy snow over deadfall. Bad enough during September bow season. Oh man can't be over next episode. I want to watch you guys way more. Thanks for the entertainment on a night with just State of Union on tv. Thank goodness for You Tube and you two. Thank you and thanks to all the great sponsors.
Awesome hunt fellas looked pretty cold! I’m sure a lot of guys do this but we sometimes take a picture with our phone of the animal/area then will highlight or circle it & show each other. Helped a lot w/ my son when he was younger. Sometimes it’s hard trying to describe to each other where they are.
That was a tough hunt, but you had them to yourselves and that alone is worth the effort! Love to hear a report on the new peax sleeping bag in that cold. Another great episode!
All the downfall. Oh boy. Brings back a couple memories. I ended up on my hands and knees crawling out of the woods going up and over a bunch of downfall getting back up to our camp packing out an elk one time at the end of October. Wore me out. I was in great shape then too. That was about 43 years ago. Way to tough it out guys, with the snow, downfall, and the temps. You got to go where the elk are to get an elk.
I always like a Elk hunt in the snow but it can be very loud. I like the effort you and Donnie put in and the great footage John is laying down God's Blessings
Finally had a chance to watch Thirsday's Episode! Man... the suspense is killing me.... tough hunting... sounds like hunting on the coast except we don't have snow, we have the fog and rain.
There's nothing about living in a tent at 7 degrees and climbing over all those snow covered deadfalls that makes me want to hunt elk outside of September 😂
Dang, if Corey isn't heading up hill, he is trekking accross Deadfall trees. I think Donnie is ready for some flat hiking. Deadfalls are a special kind of hell.
At first expected both of you to have ski's on and ho charging down the hill to the other side just like a James Bond movie who knew Donnie couldn't see Good luck thank you 😊❤😊
Slippery days in the mountain when the snow melts and clear nights looks really cold reminds me of the days hunting in Colorado one day could be sunny then snow the next hahaha awesome video guys way to try to get the shot on video awesome team work here
That’s cold guys. We spent first night on the mountain 7 degrees inn Colorado. Next morning huge frozen rain storm. You guys are dead on, that’s real cold.
Great trip guys, I sure would like to hear about the gear you were using. I would like to hear about the clothes, sleeping bags, pads etc.I know that it had to be good for those conditions.
I own some property in southern Colorado that was burnt in the Spring fire of 2018. My land was mostly lodge pole pine which all burnt. The tops all burnt and left the trunks standing. As the years have gone by it has mostly fallen and created a maze of entanglement on the ground. Along with all the fallen trees the new growth has come back. The aspen and locust trees are about 6 to 8 feet tall and a jungle. Last year I shot a deer close to my little road and it took much work to drag it just that short distance. Whenever I go to that property I must always take a chainsaw because if the wind has blown at all the road will be impassable. The big game enjoys that burnt land I suppose because all new growth is tender.
It’s elk hunt guys. Keep it up. If you love to hunt you will find a way to hunt them. Some of the comments I read are not to pretty. Don’t worry about that gentlemen keep hunting
Hunting in the snow ❄️ is tough but pretty cool 😎. Did I spot a new PEAX product in that stove or has it been out. That was tough that bull didn’t give you many shot options if any.
Looks fun. For a failure part of video would really like to know how you kept battery’s going and water from freezing. For me anything around 0 temp and hiking all day my hearing aid battery’s die and my water freezes up. My phone acts goofy for location unless I have a toasty toe near it. I did a thermos one year but as soon as I opened it up it froze. -28 can be tough hike. Hot water freezes faster. Go figure
I shot my bull this year at 40 yards with a rifle. I hurd him bugle early morning and he kept bugling for 20 minutes until he was right on top of me. Walked out at 15 yards then spooked to 40
You guys would be even warmer if you took an emergency blanket or 2 and taped it on the inside of your tent. That would reflect all that stove heavy right at you.
I very much enjoy just watching Corey and Donnie. Their teamwork and similar mindset makes for a hunting partnership that lasts a lifetime. Can’t wait for the next episode!
Great job capturing the trudging through the blowdown. I could feel y’all’s pain!
True Idaho late season hunting. Cold and brutal. Benefits of having great equipment. Thanks and best...pops
That sounds like a very cold and brutal hunt. Thanks to the sponsors RMEF,Peax’s,Yeti, MT OPS Thanks for taking the time to make these videos.
You guys never cease to amaze! I have enjoyed this season with just you two! Thanks for the memories!
Great episode I really like how real this season feels like most people hunting Elk. You show the good with the bad. Great Job John capturing the this season the snow and B roll and beautiful scenery God's Blessings
John has the hardest job. Thanks for the series.
I have experienced plenty of circus shows myself and it was an entertaining relief to see seasoned elk hunters like yourself still know how to put on a circus show too.😂 Thanks for always showing the failures and the successes and keeping your content authentic.
That was awesome!!!! That lucky bull was like a 5 point and was prolly bout a 6 point by the time the shootin was gonna start!!!😂

No way it can already be over! Seems like it just started!!!!! Good work gentlemen love to watch
Looks like that gear was awesome to hike in camp with. I’m loving this season thank you team elk 101.
Love hunting in the snow, it's total serenity....
Изюбри в первый снег буквально сходят с ума. Ревут не переставая
Hahaha Donnie is a good sport. I have two young boys and it’s hard getting them to see the animals through the scope 😂
Way to keep your cool with the odds stacked against you. Good show.
Wow, tough hunting conditions. Thanks for toughing it out and sharing it with us
Tough hunt, high5 to you guys. Enjoyed it very much!!God Bless!!
Tough going, but that's what makes it so memorable and meaningful.
I was hunting in SE WA then too. It was cold there too!!! Brings back great memories! Elk Kamp 2023!!
That was a tough hunt, but you had them to yourselves and that alone is worth the effort! Love to hear a report on the new peax sleeping bag in that cold. Another great episode!
Man this is so cinematic, i love what you guys are doing here!

Got to love the hot tent on those cold nights.

The old Donny impression was epic😂

Good luck thank you 😊❤😊

Amazing job on this series!
Always enjoy all your videos, but I really enjoy the backpacking in and camping videos. I already know, Donny gets him it's just a matter of when. 🤞
Looks like an awesome hunt!
You guys are nuts! I've been there with the weather and vowed to never do it again! I'd do it again. Obsessed much?!
Amazing series guys!!!!
The peak tent and stove make a great combination.
Pretty country for sure! Even though it was tough, I'd rather be there than at work!
I love hunting in the snow, it's even better when seeing game. 7 degrees is cold.
Good looking stove
I have to laugh because this reminded me of hunting with my wife, when she first started hunting.
That’s cold guys. We spent first night on the mountain 7 degrees inn Colorado. Next morning huge frozen rain storm. You guys are dead on, that’s real cold.
Yep, looks like a lot of the stuff I hunt here in northern Idaho. You can see a mile away and you can see 50 yards ahead, but nothing in between.
Great trip guys, I sure would like to hear about the gear you were using. I would like to hear about the clothes, sleeping bags, pads etc.I know that it had to be good for those conditions.
Looks dang cold. Keep at um
Failure Analysis- Can’t you see the bull? He’s standing right there in the opening!! No!! Wrong opening!!
Better luck next bull!!
Breaking out the rifles! It’s weird seeing you guys with rifles but it is nice to mix it up once in a while.
That looked really cold!
Looks like a cold one but awesome hunt
Blow downs and snow the worst 😂can’t believe it almost over. Long wait until next year

Hey Corey tell Mr. Monopoly I was on the edge of my chair telling him shoot Donnie 🤣🤷♀️
It’s elk hunt guys. Keep it up. If you love to hunt you will find a way to hunt them. Some of the comments I read are not to pretty. Don’t worry about that gentlemen keep hunting
Cool stove for the tent. Love the Donny you see the yellow body?
I love your videos
These conditions are more what I'm used to. Almost felt like I was there!
Peax stove 👀👀
Nice work
Hunting in the snow ❄️ is tough but pretty cool 😎. Did I spot a new PEAX product in that stove or has it been out.
That was tough that bull didn’t give you many shot options if any.
I feel Donnies pain with the eyes.. it sucks
I couldn't figure out what you guys were doing. Surely out of character for you guys. Sure looks cold. Good Luck.
Sorry, gentlemen, we are going to need you guys to run videos until the last week of August this off season slump kills me every year.
It's going down!!
Brutal. Blowdown is the worst.
Hoping you guys reveal the big call related news you referred to early in the series!! Next episode?
So…when are we going to hear about the bugle tube
Sharing the pain for one more day.......smile
Looks fun. For a failure part of video would really like to know how you kept battery’s going and water from freezing.

Hot water freezes faster. Go figure
Didnt think it would happen but I am missing the dad Joke 😢
Corey, I expected you to carve a snowman out of wood.
What water filter system are you guys using.
Only time I don’t mind dealing with cold weather is when I’m elk hunting. Other than that I like it warm!
So hard in the timber
No lamas…darn!
I like hunting in the snow, but 7 degrees is brutal for camping.
What was the reason for no Llama’s? The blowdown? Other factors?
LOL, Corey in 15 years you really think Donnie will be able to HEAR you let alone see the Elk?
This series has ruined it for me. After watching Cory and Donnie I no longer want to watch any other elk videos. It doesn’t get any better.
I second that. This is the best season since DEV1 where it was just Corey and Donnie.
I agree, wait all year to watch these guys
Let’s go!
That was almost funny......
Let's Go !!!
I shot my bull this year at 40 yards with a rifle. I hurd him bugle early morning and he kept bugling for 20 minutes until he was right on top of me. Walked out at 15 yards then spooked to 40
Cmon Donnie!
I thought you had about 20 minutes to shoot.
Are Donnie and Corrie brothers
Where's the dad joke.
You guys would be even warmer if you took an emergency blanket or 2 and taped it on the inside of your tent. That would reflect all that stove heavy right at you.
Is that a Muzzleloader hunt?
😂😂
IN 15 years..... not funny. Some of us are well past that point
brr
Die hard hunting
