now this is how exactly how i want my set up. been searching so long for a one time purchase that can be portable and switch from one location to the another. also the way it stores is how i need it to be. very informative, well done my man
This has been an awesome solution! I’ve bounced around to a lot of different boats and it’s been nice. They even have a pole mount for smaller boats as well. Glad you found it helpful! 👊
@@tjsguideservice i too have a a bunch of different vessels and need to switch it on my 16ft bayliner, 12ft jon boat, 2 diferent kayaks, float tube, and paddle boards.
Like the system have you look at sniper pole for the pole 360 around the boat viewing from the same spot. I use the arc lab with a sniper pole. Cannview 360 from any where in the boat.
I was looking at adapting my system the same way in my boat last week! I have a 20’ Skeeter 2050zx- walk through windshield boat. I set pole the same way- front and back. I have a LarMac 360- sweet integral part of the system! I have pieces of track in three locations now for versatility. 😉 One, in bow mounted on the floor just in front of drivers side windshield. This way I can fish from bow just fine- unit is out of the way of feet- and I can turn it to be able to see from the counsel while scouting when I am at the counsel! I have another plate on my downrigger pedestal. ( I fish salmon and walleye here in Wis. 😉). Nice and high, so easy viewing, and out of the way. I have another track plate mounted along my back gunnel area above battery compartment. - Great to use there when salmon fishing- can use downriggers and out of the way for netting fish. ( I have yet to use my unit for salmon fishing, but I have been told by several you can use these units to scope when trolling! Great set up. Nice video! Good luck! Great products!
I'm about to set my boat up like your video. Have you tweaked anything on your setup since this video? Any other tips on a setup like this with 2 locations on the boat? Discount codes for ArkLab?
The Arclab mount wasn't even on my radar until I saw this. Just picked up an Arclab sport track bracket to beef up the summit pole mount I had been using for my mega live ducer. Soo much better.
Love the video man. I've been trying to figure out the storage for this pole on my 1775 adventure sport. I like things to look clean and practical. As someone who picks up and switches spots often, I like to be able to stow the pole quick and secure. This def helped me out. Cheers brother.
Great video. waiting on my tracks and i will have almost the exact setup. Going to be a game changer this summer! Has already been so much fun during the ice fishing season!
Arclab is the shiz I love my shuttle. But from a guy with motorsports background as well. I can’t help but to be impressed that nobody did this before them.. simple functional lightweight strong as hell sound familiar? Racecar world is filled with parts made out of aluminum with fancy tig welds. Nothing new here just brought it to the live sonar world. Haha LOVE THIS setup to bounce from ice to boat just wish those accessories didn’t cost an arm and leg.
That makes total sense! All I know is I’m glad someone did because I love it! I don’t have the skills for that so I am glad someone does! Haha it is so slick being able to move it so easily!
TJ, what mount / components are you using on the helm to position a Helix unit above the dash gauges? Also, do keep your shuttle locked into the gunnel when you're running? I imagine the shuttle with the 360 base weighs 30+ pounds and running into a 2-3' waves could be a problem?
I used ram mounts. It isn’t perfect and I had to get creative, but it works! I use the quick dock and unclog it if I’m running on big waves or if I’m trailering just to be safe!
I have an amped outdoors 48ah battery. It has been awesome! I can easily get a full day at 100% brightness. Went 3 full days on a fishing trip when I turned the brightness down
What was the cost of your life scope setup we're down here in Minneapolis and I'll figure this out but can you kind of give me an idea for money that it costs to buy the equipment I'm sure you installed it yourself but I would have a regular do it for me thank you
Hey TJ. Thanks for the videos! I'm thinking about getting this shuttle. When putting it on your boat, are you worried about your charging port getting water in it and causing any issues? I know the ports on the front have covers, but I didn't see a cover for the side port. I'm just worried about water getting in there and making it difficult to charge, or damaging the unit. Thanks
Hey Mike, absolutely! Glad you enjoy them! I have never had issues with my charging port getting water in it. The plaything port actually also has a cover on it, but mine ripped off 🤦🏻♂️ It’s still never given me any issues!
Hey TJ, great video and awesome setup! I just purchased a new boat and I've been trying to figure out a good way to integrate my Live imaging transducer. Do you know what the length dimension is of your track, LarMac, and shuttle? I've measured my gunnels, but I'm curious how long of a track I need to buy. My boat has super wide gunnels, so I'm not concerned about that, just wondering what the overall length is on your setup.
Thank you for the kind words! Congrats on the new boat! I have the 18” Cisco track, but the new larmac 360 will also fit in a 12” track. The whole set up is 12-15” in length
Do you mind if I ask what screw size you used to attach those linq fasteners to the shuttle itself? Just ordered mine and doesn't look like it came with the hardware for that.
@@tjsguideservice ya I had seen arc lab quick connect thing and figured the same as you, it would be so nice and easy to move around. Do you suggest getting the sun visor or does it make it more bulky?
@@DB-FISHING it is so convenient! It’s all a preference thing, in the summer especially I love having the sun shield and have never ran into an issue with it being bulky. The nice thing is they are easy to take on and off if you ever want too!
Just an idea. The larmac is very expensive and I was considering an adjustable six inch downrigger mount. Very cheap compared to larmac. Probably not as adjustable but might be an option.
I have never used those, so I can’t say much, but I know I have been very glad I’ve spent the money on some of these components. That other option could definitely work, though!
Haha I’m good - I want the best and Humminbird has the best side imaging in the game hands down. Garmin is improving but still not there. They easily have the best in the love imaging no don’t! And I would still have the same problem because I want a graph for my chart, one for my SI/DI and one for my Livescope, so I would still need to love it up front or buy another unit!
If u own a 60K boat... then just get 3 or 4 livescope ducers.. put 2 op front 2 in the back.. then ur set.. would cost about 15k though.. u also need 4 screens atleast.. But id rather get a 50k boat with 15k livescope on there then a 65k boat with nothing.. Heck my 1k jon boat has livescope on there.. Also id rather spend 1500 bucks on another ducer then the same amount on fancy accesories.. i build my own shuttle for 10 bucks.. ez.

I do not. The shuttle has master power on it and I turn that off when I charge. I charge it right in the boat usually
