I've had my Highlander for 18 months and until today wasn't able to work out how to connect the iphone and dashcam. This video allowed me to get it done in ten minutes! Thank you so much. Would it have killed Toyota to have put this information on the official video of the dashcam ? They describe all the beeps and noises but give no information on the operation of the dashcam with its related apps.
The WiFi will not show up from the WiFi settings .. I've tried so many times and it will nit show up. Is there a way to reset the camera? I didn't install it so I don't know how it's powered ...
You mislabel this video it's not the setup it's the retrieving the video off of the dash cam can you do one on the initial setup how to get it to stop beeping every time you start your car

Does the Toyota Corolla XSE 2023 have a dash cam, or does it beed to be installed? I can see the lense but I don't know if they camera is also there, or do I need to add one?
Thank you for your question. The camera you see is for Toyota Safety Sense, which is a different system from the Genuine Dash Camera. You will need to purchase this separately from our parts department.

Many thanks. I did as you suggested and still got an error. Turning "airplane mode" on then turning wi-fi back on may also be necessary for some, as it was for me. Terrible software. I'm disappointed in Toyota with respect to the Toyota dash cam software. Also with respect to the dashcam's minuscule (8Gb) memory card which they recommend you do not replace.

i have the same one installed on my seinna and it keeps beeping when I turn on the car. you have to press the action buttom on the dash cam to stop it. do you know why?
The problem is when you try to use the Toyota dash cam app It sends you into a part of the program that asks you to pick where you want to store the info and when you Pick it ,, It then tells you the path you picked is wrong and doesn't give you any information on how to fix it. It turns out the app itself has a 1.9 rating because everyone's having the same issue. Toyota has turned into a garbage company because they're using garbage parts from subpar manufacturers

Also the gps and g force portion of the camera does not work on my 2023 tundra camera. Yet the advetising says that I can see 360 with the camera. It might work on the platinum models but not the limited edition. With all the videos Toyota USA makes you would think that Toyota Canada would make them for our Canadian vehicles.

It needs a microSD card to work. Mine came with a 16GB card.

no. at this time its only recording front view
Toyota has released Dashcam 2.0 which includes a rear camera. Video coming out on this soon.

The beeping sound means the memory is full go ahead and erase the datta or transfer it and the beep will stop
