hi, I have a question that's nagging me and my friends : are you skating on the ball of the foot or further back toward the middle of the blade ? When i'm doing some exercices for the loop jump like skating backward on one leg with the free leg crossed in front of the skating leg but not touching the ice I find it very hard to stay on the ball of the foot. A friend keeps telling me I have to be further back than the ball of the foot and that it'd be the same in the back spin position : what's your answer on the subjetc ? Thanks.
Great video; and great steps to get into the back scratch spin. With more practice, this kind of spin will become a powerful back scratch spin.

It is not working for me, because on ice I turn my skating leg out and cannot hold outside edge :( trying for years but that problem persists
