Great idea. I just found a silicon rubber holder for make-up brushes in the Dollar Tree. Makes a good rack for all those extra antennas when they are not busy on a radio.
That's a good idea! I repurposed six metal bookends to hold two radios. I even repurpose the lou shelves. There's four foot sections that fit around the porcelain tank and throne. Removed the extra legs and the short shelves are great for desktop.
Great idea. The one I have is round rod . I do have a waterproof baofeng . I can mount all in bathroom. The marine HT lights up in water and if SOS switch is up it calls the coast guard with GPS . It does have NOAA weather and belt clip. I have to get that towel holder now and mount it buy our hot tub. Just a water resistant speaker mic should do the trick ! 73
@@temporarilyoffline I wish! Unfortunately, I can't make it down to Orlando this year. My wife is planning a family vacation for use around then. I'll be at Hamvention in May though.
I dont think that towel bar will survive long with any HT's bouncing on it while the trailer is bouncing down the road. Though getti g off the desk while youre working there is a good idea.
At least you didn't panic. Instead of 73 I'll say 42, so long...and thanks for all the fish.
Well it was in big letters right there on the cover!
Brilliant, I like the Douglass Adams reference.
I was hoping somebody would get that

Sweet!

Very smart!
Very clever Steve, enjoy your videos. Very concise, told with a sense of humor, technically accurate. Great job.
Thanks for the kind words!

A towel holder is always a good idea.
I use one of those short metal wire shelving units, and the HTs belt clip hangs them off the side of it similarly.
I had a bunch of those and they are very useful!
Nice.... only thing is to mount much lower so when they do bounce off they won't fall as far ! Better chance for a good outcome......
I wish I had a lower spot!
Baofeng bowling pins! New ham radio sport, Bowling for Baofengs!
I like it!
A thick rubber band that you find on vegetables in grocery store might hold a little better and quiet down the rattle
That's a really good idea!
"Don't forget to bring a towel!"
This guy gets it.

I think they use the same thing on the starship Enterprise.
Agreed
Somebody on Etsy sells a HT "shelf" similar design but wood and only holds one or 2 I've ordered one for my bedroom to place my N76 and UV pro in
I found this one: geni.us/Jddr
Is that it?
@temporarilyoffline yezzir waiting on it's arrival
Well that went from really stupid to incredibly useful in 2.1 seconds!
Right!
Now THAT's using your Lucite!
It's like magic!
Epic! I'm going tine up the corresponding charger under each radio as well.
Sweet if it's USBC thats even easier
I like that solution!
Thanks!
Very cool idea!!👍
I think it's going to be the next big thing.
Especially since it doesn't take long for desktop/workbench space to fill up

Only one 220 radio? Those are rookie numbers! Thanks for the tips.
Hey. With only one radio, I still haven't made a 220 contact. I'll bring it to Orlando and you can be my first.

@MikeN2MAK ok then!
Oh that’s perfect!
Thanks John!
Question: what's the link to the discord? Do I need an invitation to join?
Link/invite in the description, love to see you over there!

I could see that!
Nice!
That's what I'm trying to say!
$27? Ouch. A good idea but I’ll improvise something.
Let me know what you come up with.
