Agents and landlords can sell shit as a house.
My obsession with house hunting is just to look into these rubbish that these Naija landlords put up and wonder how exactly they think people would agree to live there at the ridiculous amount they charge for it.
My favorite apartment was the uncompleted building 😂😂😂 where you'll pay and be unable to move in for months as they are yet to complete it. Then you'll get fed up and just move in and have laborers for neighbors or complete your apartment yourself.
Please what's that last apartment? A blue dungeon? And they have the guts to be asking for 2years. Because they know people would want to escape 😂😂😂😂

How does agreement & commission fee almost the price of the apartment? Is there no percentage basis for these fees?

Most of the time, it’s usually about 50% of your rent. Bt then again it’s Nigeria so it kinda depends on the Landlord .

Why do one pay for agreement and commission?
I know the Agent gets a percentage of it but I have no clue on what the rest is used for or why it’s compulsory 🤷🏽♀️
