Capable of lugging unparalleled payloads around the globe, this airborne behemoth is one of a kind. Well, until the Chinese get around to finishing their own hush-hush copycat version.
So why is it so gigantic? And how much thrust are those six mighty engines actually capable of? Join us as we take to the skies for a voyage of discovery inside the world’s biggest plane.

It’s now confirmed destroyed in a Ukrainian airport .. such a beautiful piece of engineering gone
Don’t worry it’s being rebuilt she will have a little down time but it’s ok cuz we know she’s coming back
Am not Ukrainian ,but I hate Russia for this
Apparently, Russia will pay for its repair
@@zad_rasera bruh if that’s true that’s actually shocking
No shit
This plane transported vaccines around the world during the WORST pandemic in recent history, brought relief to Japan during the 2011 disaster, brought relief to Haiti during the 2010 Earthquake, and probably a lot more than I can think of. And not to mention that it was a marvel of modern engineering. RIP.
RIP
RIP :C

Ye, why did Russia how to destroy their own aircraft
@@MCD10000 It wasn't Russian. Antonov is Ukrainian.
Rest In Peace. Being built only to be stowed away in a huge hangar for years, then destroyed in worthless war between Ukraine and Russia. I always wanted to see this in action. But i never will. There’s is little to no chances for it being rebuilt. I truly feel bad for this huge machine to be gone like this.
You can thank EU, USA, NATO and Ukraine itself for the destruction.
Sorry, which country's missile hit the hangar of a non-combat aircraft, again? Didn't know NATO was doing that kind of strike on Ukraine, but you're free to enlighten me.
@@samipetkannen2226 nah just Russia
@@samipetkannen2226 nice try Putin
@@samipetkannen2226 don’t think any of them took it out. Try again.
In the Army I flew in a C-130 and a C-5 Galaxy but they are small compared to this plane. I had a chance to see this one at Dulles International Airport in Virginia. It is very impressive to see this in real time. I can only dream now about being on this animal. I think it had 14 wheels on each side no including the front wheels.
Tips for UPT. Im in HS but ive been thinking about trying ti be a c-130 pilot.
Cool, I live about 5 mins away from Dulles airport

The machine that would have turned the tide of this war
Rest in peace. Blue skies. You will be missed. Thank you for your years of service.

This plane would be remembered and eventually be restored soon. REST IN PEICE
Spoiler- No person went inside the airplane to actually make a video on this
True story 😁
Thanks for saving my time
Well obviosly it’s just a huge cargo space so it would be pointless to go inside
🤣🤣🤣 Xavier you seem to be everywhere
@@jakobsol3587 so what's I'd still like to see some pictures at least
“That ain’t a plane, that’s a planet!” Roman Pierce
It’s funny how the very first thing to come out of the aircraft is always the ginormous tow-bar.. I’ve had the honour and opportunity to work directly with this aircraft as well as the AN-124 Volga Dniper numerous times.. true master pieces..
Years ago I took a 747 form Tokyo to LA, and its was such a pleasure compared to these little flying buses we use going from State to State.
Cool story bro
@@Bramon83 Yes it was very nice, tall ceilings, two wide isles, big comfy seats, great meals. Two or maybe tree big screens showing a feature film. And everybody in a great mood.

Wow. This plane is a behemoth. On a side note, can we all just appreciate how well done this videos are?
No, we can not.

I’d say the A 380 is the largest plane I’ve been in. It was a Lufthansa flight to Frankfurt from Boston. Too bad it went so fast. It was a great flight.
It is the largest now
@@pastmemories1035 The cabin alone is impressive. When I got up to use the restroom, I was directed down a flight of stairs just behind my seat and when I went down there, there was a special galley just for the restrooms. It had six on one row and six on the other. Now that’s what I call creature comforts. Normally when you get on a much smaller passenger jet, you’ve got two bathrooms for hundreds of people. Imagine the pleasant surprise you get when you see such a spacious area with plenty of facilities to use. Not only that but the individual seats on coach were comfortable and you can entertain yourself for hours with the games and movie selections. How good is that? Anyway I’m sad to see this plane being discontinued but I suppose budget has a lot to do with that. Hopefully we will still see a few of these planes active in the sky.
RIP
Cool movie and well editing
RIP Plane
RIP she’s been destroyed in the Ukraine-Russia conflict unfortunately. She’s now flying in the skies above, I mean the skies above, the skies above…
If aircraft can be decorated like ships, this aircraft is gonna be the most decorated aircraft in the world, AN-225 deserves it.
I’ve flown in both the Boeing 747-8 and the airbus a380. They are both amazing and a engineering masterpiece.
i doubt that considering ur pfp lmao
@@brownguy51 are you judging my masterpiece of a pfp? My family travels quite a lot over seas to visit family in other counties so I have experience on various different airlines and models of aircraft.

Make a video on how aircraft carriers are built , manufacture , made etc tomorrow
I agree with another poster on what I saw where this Antanov was parked in a hanger totally destroyed as almost unrecognizable if it weren't for seeing the blue and yellow colors.
RIP to this beautiful plane 💔🌹
Russia: **I'm boutto end this planes whole career**
jokes aside, this plane was so good, shame its gone
You’re stupid. Why make such a ignorant comment.
It’s so sad, this plane helped humanity during Covid-19, Designed to airlift the Russian version of the space shuttle. And was recently destroyed by Russian forces… It was so strong, 6 engines! We will remember you. See you soon.
the Russian army? prove it
@@stelfix_- Yes Russian! The whole world understands this, but not Russia, you hit the airport where the Mriya was stationed. It was destroyed through your fault, it is a Ukrainian aircraft and Ukraine would not destroy it.

Good night sweet prince…
I had the privilege of seeing this last year and I’m not being dramatic, as it landed at Prestwick airport in Scotland it literally dwarfed the neighbouring town of Ayr!!
heritage of the Ukrainian SSR.
2:24 plane at the right like '' :D ''
I watched it coming in for landing in Kabul in 2003. I was sitting on the roof of Kabul's police HQ. Passed almost right over my head. Looked so slow.. But that's the size that does it. Has also seen it on ground in Kabul and Cologne(Germany)
Now Kabul is freedom country

The curator is correct. It’s future isn’t looking promising🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
Damn Daniel!
This plane is a work of art, but now it has been destroyed ;-;
This Biggest Plane is no more...
It's just sad that this plane was destroyed by the Russians when they invaded Ukraine. I remember in 2016 this plane visited Perth WA in Australia.
THey should’ve not kept such an asset in a borderline air port even though it was its own antinov airport they should’ve moved it somewhere else
If I recall, there a second incomplete An-225 some where.
thank you mriya
RIP Mriya. Hope we build you again.
It looks good too
Title of the videos: aight I’m just gonna head out

The Mriya is dead. Long live The Mriya.
This plane came to Denmark as it's latest trip before the war broke out. It was announced all over our country that it was comming so i came to see it too. 1 month later it was destroyed. I feel kinda lucky, but i dont know if i should feel that.

Airbus A380 was the largest that I’ve been on
The largest plane I have ever flown in was a 757-200.
for me it was the 747-8

The Antonov Design Bureau were definitely not lacking in imagination and engineering capability! The other end of the scale is the AN-2, a biplane so ugly even it's mother couldn't love it!

5:23 the largest plane I have flew in is the Boeing-737 Air India Express (totally not near the Antonov an 225)
Wait, china is working on a heavy lifter for real?
This used to be the biggest airplane. The new king is the Stratolaunch. Would love to see you do video on the Stratolaunch.
