In meinem Heimatort gibt es auch einen Film und Fotoclub die auch eigene Krimis, Komödien und vieles mehr drehen. Ich finde es toll wenn Menschen über Monate zusammen an so etwas in ihrer Freizeit arbeiten!!! For a no budget amateur movie......much better than most. German with long hair showing under helmet on his back, bunched up troops scouting, small things corrected like that would have been better. But overall.......good sound, good acting. Don't understand German, but the delivery was good.

Every time I watch one of these amateur films, the comments are full of self important, historical experts (sarcasm) that like to pick the films apart, in my opinion for no other reason than to make themselves feel better. Every time I watch one of these amateur films, the comments are full of self important, historical experts (sarcasm) that like to pick the films apart, in my opinion for no other reason than to make themselves feel better. I say so what, the whole of the film was enjoyable and I believe the message made it through. Well done and thank you.
good comment mate ..so the tank isn't quite right .... its still far better than using American tanks like they did in the 70's war movies which in my view spoiled a lot of those movies ie battle of the bulge etc

They fired at the Russian tanks and were able to destroy 2 before they discovered and destroyed. My father and the rest decided, enough is enough and fled the area. My father went to a farm where he took off the uniform. He was given clothes by the farmer. Later he was apprehended by Russia soldiers. He was interrogated by a German communist interpreter . My father carried a photo of my mother. The interpreter looked at the photo and said “ go home to your wife “.
