Westwall - from the former Nazi-stronghold to a green ribbon

Der Westwall: a fortified frontier to prepare a war. It expands more than 600 kilometer from the southern upper rhine throught the Eifel to the lower rhine.
Built before the Second World War, the Westwall still charakterizes the people and the landscape of the area.
