Samus does DOZENS of fills, and from what I can tell, all of them are different. His singles are crazy good and his accents are on point. I literally can’t find anything wrong with this performance. As a fairly new drummer, this is so inspirational! His new 30-day double bass course rolls out tomorrow on Drumeo I’m so stoked!!
thanks for not blasting our ears with your mic.....great reaction...66Samus is awesome...this is the first time I have heard him play....great intuition
@rckn-rndlwestvirginiarc4388 Thanks, I try with the mic. I actually have to place the mic very far from me because it picks up everything lol. 66Samus did a great job
@w.geoffreyspaulding6588 Simple copy and paste of the title of the original video. The click bait from Drumeo is very intentional and something they do often.
I saw Seamus or the first time on that video and was very impressed. It did show me though that sometimes “less is more”. Bonham was part of a unit, and held back from allot of fancy work he could have done in order for the attention to be on one of the other members. He did have his moments to shine. They all did. But a very telling moment to me was at the very end of the song, where there are no drums at all on the Zeppelin version. Seamus was surprised by this. But Bonham held back in order for the guitar and bass to stand alone….more dramatic that way. That could have been his choice, or Jimmy’s, but it was done to serve the whole. I think sometimes that concept is lost by those who don’t regularly play as part of a band. No diss on Seamus at all. He’s incredible.
Jesus.. He did NOT HEAR ZEPPELIN FOR THE FIRST TIME! He heard this song for the first time, he talks about it in the damn intro.. Stop trying to farm clicks.

The fact it was his first and only take makes this pretty incredible.

Samus is a fucking beast!!!
He sure is! I got tired just watching him 😂😂😂
He listened the song without drums even when he was doing his "sheet audio track" ...
Yes, I know. What did I say that made you think I didn't know that?
Yeah….this was mis-labeled. Not your fault. The drummer is familiar with Zeppelin: He just had never heard Achilles Last Stand before.
